My advice to you guys is to contact the news outlets. Tell them your story on how you write exams, went for interview and how you were kept waiting to be call since 2018, unfortunately they ignore your list and recruited those with third class without exam and interview. They can help you by publishing it in news media. At least your voice will be heard and the government will do something about it. May be you might know your status. Best of luck to you guys.
true, see nnpc if they weren't about to take them to court over that recruitment it wouldn't have been concluded. Anyways some of us don tire for DSS and have moved on to other things, no news about a new recruitment yet either??

Yeah, true and that’s because some senior key officers messed up and the DG is angry at them.
senior officers ddnt mess up anytin, they aren't happy wit d fact they keep bringing retired people to head the agency, when theres more Dan enuf capable hands in the agency, moves like that kill motivation and cause rancor amongst officers. especially senior officers that hope to attain the highest position before retiring.

Let's pray Buhari does not sack his service chiefs. The way pressure is being mounted on him to do so.. I hope nothing happens to the recruitment
guy e for better make Dem sack all of them they have failed doing the same thing over and over again the same way and expecting a different result is stupidity.. War lords make money only when ders war, the fact that those men haven't been retired is one of the reasons for stagnation and divide in each of the security units a situation we're a young officer can't rise or an old officer thats suppose to attain anoda level befre he or she retires can't step up to the said level will always cos sabotage sometimes. Hence dey shud all be retired wit immediate effect.

Its very sad in this day and age when we are the generation thats supposed to be smart and enlightened I still see so much ethnicity and tribalism spewing in every direction, what's the difference between a northerner and a southerner ? You tribalistic bigots should be ashamed of urselfs, you can do better and be better, but guess u dont know any better,Does any body or any group of humans bleed gold or have special super powers why so much hate, so much cheating and injustice, all this shit we learn from de last generation, before the civil war nigeria was never like this its very sad. While there's truths in nepotism and very Little federalisim, nobody, no zone is particularly free from this same reasoning, even down to the sate level we see tribals wars ,villages hating other villages, and any part would do the exact same if given the chance.. Thats how I see it and I pray and hope it changes long as Nigerians can't stand togeda when push comes to shove we will all fall like cards in the wind. Things should change we are more enlightened than the past generations and we should learn from the past to avoid the same mistakes. We are all blood and bones, we all breather the same air. Rich, poor, Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba, IBO, Muslim, Christian, traditionalists whatever and where ever you come from the next person is also human and should be treated as such.. Stop the hate its really old and unbecoming so we dont become a bitter nation just waiting to kill of the other tribe to our left or right. this world would be a better place wit just alittle more love, understanding, and peace.. Our strength is our diversity. The political class create most of this tensions but if u see them together when its time to share the national cake they dont even care who is from where, tribe, religion or any. This thread was created for the customs job and it will serve its purpose. Stay woke lovely sunday

What I heard, not sure how true it is, daura list won't be used. The new man Is planning on making his on list. And it won't be in form of a new recruitment. Will just be like how the 3rd class guys went.
, DG would have fixed in enuf of his names in whateva list over the course of the last few recruitment and also can fix in his own cadets in the already existing documented list of cadets, he has the power to do so he can always add after all he won't add say 300 people for himself would he?? So I see no reason why they would scrap the old list but hey its nigeria worst things av happened so till we hear cadets new recruitment is on.. I stand by what I heard from my source next week or last week we should have been called and inside camp by ending or first week we would already be at the training camp. I remember I quized abt that 3rd class recruitment and i hrd its sometin called friends of the service recruitment. Thats where DGs past and present would have done majority of fixing,so he can probably tweak cadets list minimum rather Dan cancel. That existing list is heavy oo and dont for a second think daura isnt still involved in the DSS cos he is and I mean fully, lemmi burst ur bubble daura is currently one of the heads of the national security and intelligence institute

@success sources won't know the exact date till signal is actually put out signal happens in matter of minutes and then before u know movement in days. Let me still believe my source about next week am sure therez a reason or some level of preparation towards cadets training cos I ddnt make d call it was rather my source that called me to say next week. All we can do is hope.. Hope is free, as long as theres not been a new recruitment for cadets then I strongly belive we are set.. As we can all see we have practically sat tru two cycles recruitment rounds and none has been for cadets,Or at least not yet.

3rd class are back from camp as sio. Senior intelligence officer... Will be upgraded to senior intelligence officer one after 2years, which is the original appointment cadets are supposed to take on once after training. As i heard today so i thought to mysef it could mean two things either they have been taken up by the agency as replacement for cadets space or its now next batch and cadet call ups will ring out next week as my source told me I hope its not the latter please anybody else with such news or you can make findings and share with the thread!! If in doubt we jejely wait till next week and see what goes down.

Dear DSS cadet aspirants.

Information from a very reliable source said verification/vetting of applicants certificates/credentials starts tomorrow being Wednesday 17th December 2019.

This is in preparation for call up to camp.
while we still expect good news I must add that, vetting and verification was done before documentation which is the last stage... Exams- interview- verification - vetting and background checks - documentation - awaiting camp callup, or atleast this is d pattern followed in my state during the recruitment process of 2018... But hey let's hope ur source is on point. cool
