Kano State Government is sponsoring a matchmaking scheme where single, divorced and widowed women can sign up to find husbands. Over a 1000 women in Kano have joined the scheme and more than twice that amount of men have applied to be given a wife.

After the couples pick each other, they will be allowed to court for just a few weeks after which they will tell the scheme organizers if they want to marry each other or not. If they agree to marry, then their names will be included in a mass wedding that will be held by the end of April 2012 and will be financed by the Kano State Govt.

But get this, after the wedding, if the man wants to back out of the marriage, the state govt will fine him N1.5m. So I guess for most of these men, this one na marriage for life!

To the newbies, pls always remember not to allow the lure of the market tempt u cos the market is always keen on getting back what it gave you. So be very stingy with your profit and avoid over-trading like a plague; over-trading is the nemesis of the forex trader.

You really dont need to make several trades a day to make money, one or two trades a day is enough to keep you profitable in the long term. Dont try to make so much money overnight, forex trading  is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

It's all about discipline.

Yes the reason brokers hunt ur stops is because they betted againt you that u will lose that trade, so if u lose, the money goes directly into their pocket, but if you win that trade, that means they will have to pay you from their pocket because they did not connect that particular trade to a bank which will pay you when u gain and vice-verser, so that is why some dealing desk brokers are dangerous

Too bad someone will have to lose for u to gain, so not possible, and brokers dont pay you when u gain, unless they bet against you in a trade as market makers do, brokers only serves as connection for your trade to go through the trading banks, they gain by chargin commissions or through spread in a pair.

Brokers that charges commissions love scalpers, cos the more you scalp, the more commissions thy gain

Really. cos I hear things about DEALING DESK brokers and ECN brokers and some brokers hunting a trader's stop loss.

I have a BIG QUESTION: If every forex trader makes consistent profit, can the brokers be able to pay or wld they go broke?

Yeah the psychological barrier thing is just awesome, it hardly fails. You can see how the pair is now racing downwards after touching 1.3185. I should take my profit in the next 20mins or so.

Yes, the 1.3185-1.3200 area should pose a major psychological barrier so it's advisable to fade it. My target is around 50pips as always then I'll call it a day.

That Psychology barrier stuff seems to be a good one. Some1 taught me something like that sometime ago but i didnt understand it then. He uses the zigzag indicator to determine the psychological barrier.

It's so amazing how traders see the same thing in the market yet come up with different interpretations. This is the beauty of the market cos some need to lose in order to keep the market liquid and active.

Its not as much important whether u buy or sell. but whether u take ur profit. money management is very important in this business. the market can temporarily go against u, but if u have enough equity, u can wait for it to go in ur favour and then take ur profit. remember to overcome GREED and FEAR.

there's something my ea sees in fx that i havent seen. it sold eurusd with a high take profit when every other person was buying. now eurusd is selling.

sold EurUsd at 1.3139 take profit 1.3046

can u imagine? eurusd had been very dull since 2day. so i decided to stay away and watch. just 4 it to move 50 pips up now. mteeew. i missed this 50 pips 2day. see u 2moro
