This discussion is becoming interesting. Imagine what the family member is saying. It is true the GM H/R was sacked. The lady is an expat of African origin. What a pity for the lady. I will post her farewell message to all staff for you all to read.

Her own case is even ok,imagine a widow oversseing training section in the H/R dept. This woman was sacked by this heartless man. For what reason? Because she is doing her job. This man came in one day and met people ready to go on training. He asked what they are going for and they replied training. The next thing he did was to order the sack of the training manager for according to him''spending his money on training''. The woman doesn't approve money, neither pay training centres. What she does is to get training schedule for staff and request for money from finance.

If this man can do this to a widow He begged few months back to leave her former job, then you can imagine the devil living in his heart.

Here is the GM H/R farewell message to all the staff.

Dear all

As you might be aware, my season at Arik Air has come to an end.

I would like to use this medium to appreciate you for your support and cooperation during my time as GM, Human Resources.

Over the last two years, Arik has been through many challenges but have overcome them because of your sheer determination, hard work and commitment to your duties. I believe Arik Air will maintain the Number One position if you continue to do what is right, irrespective of your ‘new experience’.

I wish you all the best in your respective careers at Arik Air. Wherever we may meet in the future, may we all have cause to celebrate our progress in life.

God’s guidance and protection be over us all.

Farewell!

Regards

Former, GM Human Resources

Tameu,Goatmeat and Sabongida, may the good lord continue to shower his blessings on you people for telling the whole world our story in Arik air. To me as a person, joining Arik Air was one of the worst decision I ever took in my life. I don't like regretting my actions, but there is cause to say this one. Most people were attracted to Arik looking at their big profile and fake document called ''contract of appointment''. In all the items of the contract, the one being respected so far is the salary(Last month own was paid this month). Others are just Edo sense of the 419 Chairman. Here in Arik, a white flight officer is being paid almost double the salary of a Nigerian pilot with more years of experience. Due to persistent meeting with the God of Arik on this, he is promising a review with targeted reduction of staff.

My worry about this whole thing is the lack of respect for staff and the manner people are being sacked. It is as bad as one leaving his home in the morning and come back without a job by 5pm. Working here is just like not really working. The staff morale is down and everybody work in fear. For God sake this an airline where people need total commitment and loyalty, but reverse is the case in Arik.

I just want people to appeal to this power drunk chairman to at least show a bit opf human feeling in his conduct. All what have been mentioned here are truth and more revealation about this man will baffle you. May God help us Amen
