For K1 visa, NVC will not schedule the interview for you, you will be the one to do that. The only thing you will get from NVC is an approval letter stating that they have approved and has now being sent to the embassy. After then you can check the CEAC Status to trace if your application is now at the embassy. If it shows transit, it means it is on the way, and if it shows ready, it means it is already at the embassy. When it shows ready, you can go ahead and fill the ds160 form and pay the fee. You can also email NVC to follow up with your application by using this public inquiry form, they are always responsive. I have tried it and they always respond to me. See the email here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
Also you can track your application after it has been approved by the NVC and even when after your visa interview at the embassy but you will need to use your case ID which you don’t have for now. Google CEAC status tracker and click on the first link.

Regarding the questions, I just remember the below:

When last did you see each other? She asked me this question twice . I will advise that if possible, if your fiancée visited recently, it also boosts your application.

All the best!

Hi guys,

I want to say a thank you to everyone for their contributions on this platform. I started following this thread since my fiancee filed. I finally got approved. This might be helpful. The below are the questions that were asked:

How did you meet?
What got you attracted to your fiancée?
Where does your fiancée works?
Where is her company located?

After checking her system for some minutes, she finally mentioned that finally approved statement 😊

TIPS: Please make sure you are bold and confident and don’t allow the expression on the VO face makes you lose your confidence. You should be proud discussing about your fiancée. Mine wasn’t smiling but I wasn’t bothered. I answered the questions confidently.

Also, I have a question 😊 Is it possible I fly in to US from another country different from the country where the visa was issued? Or is it a must I travel from the country where the visa was issued? The reason I am asking is because I plan to travel to country A for vacation and from there I plan on traveling to the US.

I wish everyone success in this process. Thank you guys!

Thank you Boss

You don’t need to worry yourself about sending any documents to the embassy if you’re not asked or required to do so, just go ahead to pay the fee and fill your ds160, book appointment and schedule your medicals few weeks before your interview date and make sure you have all your papers intact as per your stay there and prepare for your interview.

Best of luck.

Thank you Boss

Dont do medicals till you have your interview appointment booked. If you do not get interview letter from the embassy, you can still go ahead to schedule your appointment.

Hello everyone,
Please, I have a question. My CEAC status is showing READY. In as much, I have seen in a previous post that when it shows ready, I can fill out the DS160 form, book an interview appointment, do the medicals, and pay the fee, but in my case, I am applying from Europe. Can I still go ahead as I am not applying from Nigeria? Also, I read somewhere that some embassies usually request that some documents be sent to them before the interview in a letter that will be sent to the beneficiary; why some other embassies don't request this. So, I don't know if I should go ahead and submit the DS 160 form and schedule medicals and interview appointments. Please, all the pieces of advice will be appreciated.

Hello Family,

Please I would like to ask anyone here that the USCIS has approved their fiance visa application how long (months) it took the USCIS to approved before sending to the embassy. When did you submit your application and when was it approved by USCIS? Reason why i am asking is for myself and fiance to be able to plan ahead. We applied in November 2021 and we are expecting a feedback. I will appreciate if i can get responses. It shall end in praise for everyone of us in Jesus name.
