My visa status just switched from administrative processing to ISSUED today .In how many days time should I go collect my stamped passport (visa) from DHL in Lagos,Nigeria

He said it will be ready for pick up in 2 weeks .He basically asked me many questions about the petitioner (my fiancee).You have to know the dates of her arrival and exit into the country,he asked about places we've been to,where I met her,her work place and where she had worked previously and many more which I really do not remember .Though I have been denied B1B2 twice and it really do not have effect on my K1 visa issuance ..I think the only time it might affect your K1 application is when you tell lies in your previous visa applications

My K1 visa was approved some days back but my case status changed from ready to application recieved when will the visa be ready to be issued ?

You will be fine, I saw your post on vj too. I know a friend who went for B1/2 interview 4 times, he was never asked when he went for his K1 interview, he is in the states now. As long as nothing changed and no lies. You are good. Good luck man and all the best.

Your B1/B2 denial has zero impact on your K1 if you were truthful without contradictions in your previous applications.

Hope you have evidence that you have been dating for 8 years............because the CO can ask for it especiallyifyou mentioned it.

Have been denied B1B2 twice both on conferences .The first was Feb 2017 and the second was June 2018.My fiancee is a Nigerian and we've been dating for the past 8 years .She came to Nigeria Dec 2015 and spent 2 weeks and the second time was October 2018 where she spent 19days.Shes single and am single too and all through my previous application haven't claimed married. before where so many do this for visa reason She started with the K1 processing 2018 November (ending) and my interview comes up nextweek.But we made another trip to Dubai March to April this year for her birthday where we spent 10 days there .Just worried about  the time frame between my denial (b1b2) and the filling.

First it was public charge and now this. Bringing family members will be more expensive now. But K1 can scale through being that it is a non-immigrant with immigrant intent(AOS).

Yes. It will add to many visa denials, more visas will be denied, bringing family will be more expensive.
And many Americans will stop bringing foreign fiance(e) or spouse because it will be much more expensive. If you love each other, think about living with your love in Nigeria or in any other country with cheap cost of living.

When is it going to be effective ...I think it's going to be one of the requirements before even before the USCIS consider the appointment at first ....

This law was there during Obama, I know people who were not allowed back in the US in 2013 because they owed a hospital a large sum of money after giving birth. Trump probably just changed something in it. People want to make Trump out to be the bad guy even when they know that Obama deported more people than Trump

If you get married on his first visit that's another red flag out there .Well all said and done since he's the man here I advise you to tell him not to file for you on his first visit ,why not coming back for the second time before the filing .There's no time frame per say as to K1 visa..but i think the maximum time frame is between 6 to 9 months .Well you can quote me if am wrong ..it's just a piece of advise to you

I met my man on the first week of this month and we're already making plans for him to come and meet my family by January so that after his visit, we can start our k1 visa application. I need help with the following.

1: He's 18 years older than I am. I hope this won't be a red flag?
2: he's divorced
3. He has four kids from his previous marriage (could this be a red flag too?)
4: we intend applying after the first visit.
5. Will the length of our relationship affect our application in any way?

We really want to be together as soon as possible and k1 Visa seems the quickest. What would u advice we do? Am anticipating a response as soon as possible. Thank you!

Thinking the wide age difference might be a red flag when you applying for a K1 visa.I advise you to go for a spousal visa. It's better for the whole process to be late than to get yourself denied when you can actually resolve this before hand.Its just a piece of advise though ..you might still go for the K1 visa too

I have a sister whom her hubby is a legal resident in the State. He filed for her and every necessary steps had been taken. She got a date for interview and went, unfortunately she was not able to see the consular for the interview because she actually did not go with the result of her medical due to late collection date.

She was asked to go and get the medical and reschedule another interview date, she was given a hard copy of information that will guide her through the rescheduling process. Having gone through the necessary procedures, unfortunately we were unable to get a date, the response from the page is “there is no available date yet”.

We mailed the given contact and we were directed to another contact called support-nigeriatravel@.....

We still haven’t gotten any available date ooo,

Please brother, how can your help us with vital information if you may have.

You might need to wait until an available date pop up ..I doubt it if there's something someone can do here to fast forward the whole process for you .Really sorry about this .Since she's been at the embassy before,I think it's proper for the embassy to give you a date .

Embassy dont care if your print out comes in colored or black and white all they want to see is to convince them that you have a genuine relationship with your alien spouse/fiancée

Wait till the embassy send a packet to your email or your petitioners email then go ahead and pay your visa fee and schedule your appointment.After you schedule and appointment with them ,then you go ahead with your medicals at an hospital of your choice (The details is shown in the packet been sent across to you or your alien petitioner )

Where do you meet means the exact location where you guys first met.Take for am instance you met when she came to write entrance examination in your university i.e

They collected my international passport, one passport photograph, affidavit of support and financial backings, birth certificate, medical report and police report but only my birth certificate was returned back , the asked for a copy of it though and I didn't have so they made it themselves.

The interviewer didn't request to see any of the documents or evidence I had with me too

My fiancee filled a K1 visa for me and have recieved the packet from the embassy giving me go ahead to make my visa payment, appointment booking and my medicals .II already paid for my visa fee,created a profile but telling me there are no available dates to schedule and interview.Should I send a mail to the embassy or I should wait till a date pop up cos there are news everywhere that I might not be able to see a date till November .
