Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ajokelola: 12:30am On Feb 02, 2020
Hello good evening.

I'll like to visit UK in May/June and I'll like to know what's required asides from these:

- Letter of introduction from my company (I work as a data scientist in a bank)

- 5 month bank statement with a closing balance of ₦500k (will this be okay?, as I plan for it to be a week visit)

- Flight itinerary

- Hotel booking

Please what else will I need? I'm single and young ( I don't have any landed property) and I really just want to go on a vacation.

Extra information:
I have been rejected twice but I did my master's in the UK afterwards.

Thanks for this info please did you print the bank statement before the application or after the application. And was the starting balance equivalent to what you need or less.

I printed the bank statement a day before my application and the starting balance was less than what I needed though the 28days count was still fulfilled.

Received by Ukvi- 02/08/17
Received at the decision making centre - 14/08/17
Decision made on ukvi tracking website - 17/08/17
Decision made (TLS)- 29/08/17

Delivered by courier- 05/09/17

Visa granted!

I used the standard application.

NB: I was refused a tier 4 visa twice last year as they were not convinced by the sponsorship letter I provided so I used my mum's bank account this year instead with the right supporting documents.

There was also a typo in the spelling of my mum's first name on my birth certificate but I pointed this out in the space for additional info.

I hope this would be helpful for somebody

Thanks @mimilyrics , thanks everybody!
