Car Talk / 2020 Lexus GS 350 Review by ajpariz(m): 9:09am On Aug 26, 2021
Most high-end vehicles come with a plethora of customisation choices, enabling purchasers to choose exactly whatever characteristics they desire.

However, if spending hours poring over an options list sounds as appealing as filling out a mortgage application, the 2020 Lexus GS 350 could be the car for you.

This premium sedan comes with a long list of basic amenities and a short list of optional extras.

Most of your luxury sedan expectations should be met by the GS 350. The interior is quiet and spacious, the journey is smooth, and the chairs are well-padded. The GS 350 isn’t the most fuel-efficient or powerful sedan in the class, but it provides enough propulsion when needed. Its value offer has also charmed us over. On a premium sedan, features like leather upholstery, GPS, and ventilated seats are usually options, yet Lexus includes them as standard on the GS.

On the negative, this model of Lexus GS is becoming old. Lexus first debuted this model in 2013, so it’s been a long time since it’s been completely redesigned. It’s most noticeable in the GS’s infotainment controller, which looks like a mouse.

Models of the Lexus GS 350

The standard and F Sport variants of the 2020 Lexus GS 350 are available.

Both cars have a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 311 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, as well as an eight-speed automated gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

All-wheel drive is available as an option, although it comes with a six-speed automatic transmission rather than the eight-speed.

Is the Lexus GS a Reliable Car?

Yes the Lexus GS is an excellent luxury midsize vehicle.

It has plenty of power regardless of which of its two engines you choose, and the F Sport’s upgraded suspension delivers a fun ride with precise handling.

Quality materials, including as basic synthetic leather upholstery, metal trim pieces, and optional wood accents, are used throughout the interior.

Pedestrian recognition, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control are among the standard safety features on the GS.

It does, however, have an above-average starting price and somewhat lower-than-average estimated fuel economy.
How Much Does the Lexus GS Cost?

The starting price for the basic 2020 Lexus GS 350 with all-wheel drive is $51,065, which is rather costly for a luxury midsize vehicle.

The base rear-wheel-drive model costs $51,395.

With rear-wheel drive, the GS 350 F Sport model starts at $52,760, while with all-wheel drive, it starts at $54,505.

How many passengers can the GS accommodate?

The 2020 Lexus GS can seat up to five people.

The driver can choose a comfortable seating position with the 10-way power-adjustable front seats, which provide plenty of support.

The second row is likewise fairly spacious.

Newboss:
Schooling is not education. It's just a formal process. It's basically a scam these days because its purpose has expired with the internet taking over.

Read. Quit school if you have to. It adds no value to you as a person.

Every parent needs to tell their kids this every day. Your chances of getting educated are higher outside school than in school.

Books are everywhere. If you can read and write, you're very literate. In fact, you'll write books that PhD holders will read with delight.

Educate yourself. Do business. Acquire a skill. Build an empire. Join an empire. Evolve. You're a human being! The society doesn't define you. You define the society.

That's the fat....
