akatop: money is said to be a protection and could help in making daily living smooth and less traumatic, i knew a friend who married when he was doing a job where he was paid #10,000 after his NYSC the were very happy, manage what the had, live according to what the had and soon after marriage he got a job where he was paid almost half a million. the difference between the two periods was that the could spend on wants when he got the second job. while money is important in daily living whether as a married person or not. the most important factor is to have a simple eye in life, material gains come in gradually in a persons life, some people get such gains very early and others over time gain material possession. So if a man can feed himself, feed another mouth, pay for his accommodation, provide clothing for himself and one mouth if he decides to married he can start from that point. the most important thing in marriage is to take care of the basic necessities of daily living.
