RIP...develop our hospitals so that you guys can die here in Nigeria and save your family of the expense of moving your corpse back home. It cost at least $15,000 to fly a corpse back from US at least. Angel of death has a universal visa, it can get you anywhere.

Noise makers! go to DSS office at Abuja to protest.
This is a matter of national security.
No magistrate court order can make DSS release him.
He is a terror inciting nonentity. He committed treason.
He should enjoy the zoo prison.

But, folks only fight across tribal, religious and party line while ignoring the real issue.

What is the offense here? They are consenting adults engaged in sex. Can the women swear that they didn't enjoy the sex?
As for the money involved, the pastor can be charged for fraud.
Politics / Re: Buhari's Big Ministerial Appointment Mistake by Akiika: 5:12pm On Nov 11, 2015
Nothing but myopia and close mindedness is exhibited by the post. Sorry!, no more wastage. This is exactly what Buhari took his time studying, i'm sure he did his homework. Just wait for the results.

Godswillnwaoma:
Biafra is the only hope of south east and south south people. Nigeria government should let us go so that we can manage our resources and develop our region. We are tired of this marriage called Nigeria. If you support the Biafra independence just click the like button.
What stops you from developing your region now, are your governors Hausa/Fulani or Yorubas?

Politics / Re: Taraba Judgment, Another Evidence Of Executive Interference -PDP by Akiika: 4:59am On Nov 08, 2015
Of course you guys will only see this through prism of party sentiment.
"The tribunal held that the defence by the PDP that the primaries were shifted to Abuja because of security challenges in the state was rejected by the tribunal. It sustained the evidence of the INEC official that there was no primaries election in the state and the emergence of Ishaku through the purported election in Abuja was after the statutory stipulated time for party primaries had elapsed."
So, in reality, PDP had no candidate.

That defense is suspect and Osimhen is becoming selfish. The number of inaccurate passes is becoming too high. On a positive side, the Malians are equally guilty of all these.

Don't let me hear any wailer say Buhari is arm-twisting any tribunal.

But, why do Igbos think they are better than the Hausas and the Yorubas? it still baffles me! You typically stereotype all Hausas as maiguard or herdsman, you guys are ignorant, i have met a lot of educated and smart Hausas in my life. They are just better than majority of y'all. Of course, the slightest thought that you are better than the Yorubas is just idiotic to say the least. It is the unarguably the most advanced tribe in Nigeria.
You guys are delusional, your states are as equally impoverished as the some of the Northern and states.
Get a life and be pragmatic, your hatred towards other tribes is to your disadvantage. you may never rule Nigeria and Biafra will forever be discussed on social media!
You want freedom, mention one Eastern state that the state government is outstanding? they are all thieves like other state governors. If you secede, are you going to clone new good leaders that will lead this your mirage Biafra?
Why not agitate for an exemplary governance in the SE states first,
secondly, all of you move back to your states,
thirdly, be self dependent (do not take any allocation from Nigerian Government),
then make a case that your states are better than the Nigerian states, hence you want to secede.
If you can't do the above, then you are just noise makers.

Politics / Re: Stop Hating Other Nigerians If You Want To Produce President –Okorocha To Ndigbo by Akiika: 2:41pm On Nov 04, 2015
Dear Igbo brothers and sisters, do you honestly think other parts of the country will support your presidency with your level of hatred?
None of you may ever smell presidency with the way you reason. You shot yourself in the foot in the last election, and rather than doing damage control, you still engage in senseless rants!
Look, the Biafra agitation is plain stupidity and it's never going to happen. You call other tribes parasites yet you ply your trades in the North and Southwest while your states are those of the least developed in the country.
I am disappointed in you that heaven has not fallen with the arrest of the terrorist Nnamdi kanu, i'd expected you to have come out enmasse to agitate for his freedom or better still start the war you have been ranting about for decades!
You are nothing but cowards!
I recognize the logical and free thinking Igbos in the country, i know it's just a bunch of kiddies that come on Nairaland to vent illogical rants!.

Politics / Terrible BVN Collection Process At OIS Center In Houston, TX by Akiika: 11:01pm On Oct 23, 2015
OIS, Online Integrated Solutions have been contracted to enroll Nigerians in diaspora for their BVN. An Houston center was opened October 6th, 2015 to cater to Nigerians in Houston.
The enrollment information on www.oisservices.com/bvn.php require applicants to book an online appointment.
The process at the center suggest they are ill prepared for the task.
Firstly, there are lots of people standing and sitting on the floor, only 3 seats and a desk is available. There are lots of people waiting despite having scheduled appointment.
There is no single computer to collect data, they practically write applicants' information on sheets of paper.
The lady attendant has not been responsive to customers, she shut them out at will and unapologetic about it. The $45 processing fee they charge is a rip off for the quality of service they render. The Nigerian Immigration Service need to review the suitability of this company for this job.
There is a short video of the events at this center.
Politics / Re: What Is Wrong With The Nigerian Youth? by Akiika: 9:45pm On Oct 23, 2015
Simple answer....they are closed-minded.
The politicians have denied them normal utilities of life, that it has become luxuries to them. They have been so used to chaos, absurdity and brigandage that it has become normal to them. They don't see beyond their local community. The dint of exposure they have is on Nairaland, that is sadly populated with folks of like minds. Where would they learn? Their brain is so wired to verbal abuse, they'll respond to comment with verbal abuse if they disagree with you.
They are intellectually empty and so lazy to read, local Nigerian Artiste and agbero politicians like Fayose are their role models. They lack courtesy and decorum as enshrined in the community. The only thing they understand is money, in however cruel manner they get it.
Pathetic!

Islam for Muslims / Re: Why We Fast On 9th And 10th Muharram by Akiika: 2:57pm On Oct 23, 2015
Here we go again this year on this Ashura issue. AlBaqir has done nothing wrong in posting Shi'a's position of this, which makes logical sense by the way. Let's learn to express our divergent opinion respectfully. These are all subjective according to our beliefs. I still don't consider myself a Sunni or Shi'a, but i am a Muslim, that is what the holy prophet bequeathed us. I have maintained that we would be deceiving ourselves if we deny that a lot of culture and politics have mixed with our religion over years. Wa Allahu a'alam. We should strive to do the very foundation of our faith....Belief and trust in the one Allah, do our solat regularly, give alms, fast, Hajj if we can afford it. Most importantly, be kind and fair to other.

Celebrities / Re: Senator Ben Murray-Bruce Blasts Bloggers And Online News Sites by Akiika: 5:22pm On Oct 21, 2015
Simple solution....give press statements on your activities, stop doing things in secrecy if you are clean and are doing the right thing.
Politicians are not media friendly, once the media publish what they don't like, that may be the truth anyway. Give the media information, so they don't concoct one....not excusing irresponsible journalism though.

The Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg are popular with this, not the expensive items they buy with their riches. If you are really rich, i don't need to see what you flaunt to believe that you are rich...but na bad belle una go call am!
While i won't question how he spends his hard earned money, i think giving back to the community makes sense.
