Career / Re: What Nigerian Banks Pay Their Workers by ALGAMISH: 3:43pm On Jul 29, 2015
Wrong figures OP. Gtbank is not the highest in the industry and no bank pays 200k and above to entry level staff in Nigeria. Among the top banks the difference is insignificant. Mind you one can spend 5 yrs without promotion. Though Gtbank promotes it's staff more often than others. Banks like first bank and Ecobank have very good salaries but no promotion
Politics / Re: List Of Some Powerful Politicians Who "Defied" APC And Went Into Oblivion by ALGAMISH: 9:01am On Jun 09, 2015
Shekarau, Buba Marwa, and Ribadu are not powerful politicians even while they were in APC. Ribadu is more popular in South West than even his state and the same thing with Buba Marwa. As for Shekarau he left alone, not even a single councillor followed him. Ali Modu Sherif use to be powerful in Borno before people realise he has a hand in boko haram

what was the major undoing of president GEJ was that he wanted to appease the north in his first term, with the hope that when he wins in 2019 he will use federal resources to develop south-south,he forgot in the north their allegience is to themselves.

Have you asked the question why he just approved some project now and why he tried to move the LADOL port project to bayelsa?

Rubbish. What has GEJ done to the north?

I'm sick of hearing people call G.E.J a hero, the guy lost, what is expected of a looser?? No be to surrender? Even with the trillions he spent, he lost with a wide margin, now tell me, do ya'all think he doesnt know that if he doesnt accept defeat he wont even live to tell the tale? The fact that Dis guy lost and accepted defeat doesnt make him a hero, it simply makes him a good looser. QED

All of you quoting my post should look back at what Nigeria used to be like b4 G.E.J assumed office, if you find that Jonathan Goodluck worsened the situation of virtually everything in this country since 2011 then y'all can go play for sh*t for all i dont care. Electricity, transportation, petroleum, health care, infrastructure nothing is working! Nigerians voted him out of power based on his incompetence let him live with that.

And for those of you talking about G.M.B not accepting defeat in 2011; Newsflash! This is 2015, everything has been digitalised, Nigerians even got live feeds of election
results on the go. So what i'm saying is, Buhari must've had concrete reasons to believe he never lost which we never knew because info was limited, but Jona cannot even dare to tell us he never lost, not when we've stopped depending on NTA to tell us our fate during elections. This is not 2011. Him for reject the results make i see >:

You think you are normal but you are gradually becoming insane, where in my post did I say GEJ should abondon the girls.
The governor and the principal are guilty of negligence of duty and conspiracy, its only in nigeria that only presidents is blamed without tracing the root cause of problems.
Use your brain its Gods free gift

Emergency rule was declared hence Federal Government is responsible

I think this woman should shut up until the girls are found.
GEJ didn't handle the issue well, if not the governor of that state who was advised that the area is not safe for exams but he insisted that exams hold there should accept some responsibility.
The pricipal of the teachers also played her part too because when the news broke out earlier before the kidnap I see no reason why she did not dismiss the girls to go home but rather she collected her own children and locked others inside for Boko haram to come and take them away

I wonder why so many imbeciles are so keen on displaying their imbecility on this kind of forum, even the topic alone stated it categorically that card reader only accredited 292,000 voters. were did u get your own figures of total accreditation of both card reader and manual to be 292,000? Another question u will ask yourself stupid self is this, how many number of registered voters did rivers have? And how many were accredited? During presidential election 10million went through card reader amd the rest were by manual, mind u GEJ has up to 12million votes while GMB has up to 14million votes let me forget about other political parties that contested and how many votes they had, just GEJ and GMB alone is a total of 26 million votes out of 10million accredited by card reader,by extension, the remaining 16million were by manual. What is the difference between the presidential election and rivers state election?

U see, there is a big difference between being able to read and being able to read and assimilate, and u so lack the later.

I am not in support of either wike or anyone.
I am only pissed by our so called graduates or enlightened people being so ill informed that they just open their mouth and talk as if they did not pass through primary school.

I wonder where you get the figure that 70% of accreditation was done manually during presidential election. Unless if you are telling me that is what happens in SS/SE. Manual accreditation excluding SS/SE was just 14.75%%

No sir!!!! Rivers State cannot be treated in isolation. Where The CR fails, manual accreditation suffice. Or else we would have to start from the Presidential election where child-voters were reported.

APC should also accept their defeat where one exist and not grabbing, grabbing, grabbing and always grabbing.

Remember is only in SS that we had a record of above 75% accredited voters to have voted in both presidential and Governorship election. In addition where manual accreditation was done the number was not even close to 15% of total accreditation. Election did not hold there!
If other places recorded child voters as you are saying then I am sure you know northerners are never allowed to cast their votes in whole SS /SE
So election is not perfect everywhere but what happens in SS was crazy and unacceptable. The rigging conducted during presidential election could not make any difference to the final result as population wise this is the maximum they could do

You people should learn to be decent even while rigging

The Hausa/Fulanis will definately settle it among themselves, they are not like southerners that are fond of exposing ourselves. Most especially that the president of theparty concerned(PDP) is a christian(Arna),Buhari will tell them to settle themselves. But, had it been that the party has no connection with a Christian, he will make sure that they face the wrath if found guilty. Mark my words and see what is going to happen. I have lived the Hausa / Fulanis for at least 21 years, I know them. That is the reason why when the president was pumping money to their region at the expense of other region especially southwest, I was just laughing

Seems you have no idea who Buhari is. Sentiment has no place in buhari's government

You guys are so bitter about figures coming from the north. Leave registered voters aside your population in SS SE is not up to one 3rd of population in the north. So no matter how you rigged your election the figures can never be close to the one in the north even with your 100% registered voters participants

What do you mean by massive rigging in the north please? The only place where election did not hold but results were declared was SS
somegirl1:

These things would be swept under the carpet if the winner is someone the people at the helm wanted.
I've come across a thread in which some people lamented about the Ajimobi's re-election. He is not very popular apparently, but managed to get the majority of votes. No possibility of rigging there, right?
And why are fingers continually being pointed at the SS, esp when the topic is the presidential election, when it is clear that there was massive rigging in the north as well?
Let the worse rigger accept defeat and congratulate the better rigger. That is what happened at the presidential level after all.
If elections in Rivers and other states of interest are cancelled, we may as well cancel all elections held this year and do them all over.
Competition is healthy for democracy. No single party should have a monopoly.

Exactly, thst is what indegenes of Rivers state are saying. Just like GEJ can never win Niger, Katsina, Yobe even if the elections are conducted a million times, APC will never win in Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, Enugu, Delta.!

Remember we are saying thesame thing in different ways.

Mkpi!

I am not saying APC will win in Rivers. But why all these irregularities when u can still win on a free and fair ground? Is only in SS that we recorded more than 70% of accredited voters to have cast their votes. The highest in the north that you are claiming underage voters was just 50% in Bauchi, the average in South West was 38%. Rivers, A/ibom and Delta recorded over 70% each.

SS are not use to having election. They are only good at writing and declaring results. Is good they are exposing themselves now. Only Edo state had a fair result two weeks back. INEC accept results of Rivers,Akwa Ibom and Delta states because despite the fact that proper election did not hold there the results could not make any difference. Thank God for card reader and PVC if not 100% of registered voters would be reported to have voted. Results in South West and north was very fair

Politics / Re: Jonathan Vs Buhari: How They Stand In 36 States, FCT - VANGUARD by ALGAMISH: 11:18am On Mar 23, 2015
I agree with most with exception of Jigawa and Kaduna. On Kaduna this time around voting is not going to happen along religious line as even the christians are not happy with Jonathan. Remeber Buhari won Kaduna hands down despie Yakowa and Namadi in 2011,hence now that Ramalan Yero is nothing but a disgrace to both muslimd and christians in Kaduna confirms that APC will have it even easier in 2015.

On Jigawa, please poeple should not be taking the noise Sule Lamido is making serious. The 25% Jonathan got in 2011 was rigged. Right now Sule cannot even rig to save his Governoship candidate talk less of Jonathan. 25% not feasible for Jonathan in Jigawa
Politics / Re: Jonathan Vs Buhari: How They Stand In 36 States, FCT - PUNCH by ALGAMISH: 1:56pm On Mar 22, 2015
In 2011 Jonathan got 22mm representing 58% while Buhari got 12mm votes which is about 31%. That is despite the massive rigging by PDP. In 2011 proper election did not hold in South south and south east and this cannot happen in 2015 even though Buhari cannot win a single state their but PDP may not get half of what they got in 2011. South west voted overwhelmingly for Jonathan in 2011 and is very obvious the reverse will be the case in 2015. Just like is practically impossible for Buhari to win any state in South south and south east is equally true that Jonathan can never win a single state in northeast and northwest with exception of probably Taraba state. Here we are talking of almost 30mm votes. Now north central is where votes may be shared. In North central PDP may have plateau and probably Benue. Kogi is going to be 50 50 while Nassarawa, Kwara and Niger PDP cannot get even 20%. Victory for APC is very clear
