Tonight nigerian football officially died. It's cadaver is undergoing rigor mortis. Never have I, in my years of seeing the Falcons play, seen a more directionless side. No coordination, no coherence despite having a so called foreign coach. Truly, under Amaju Pinnick, Nigerian Football died.

Nigerian Football has sunk to its lowest ebb. We need a Westerhof-esque character in the dugout to find diamonds-in-the-rough and polish them into glittering gems. These players with dual nationalities do not understand what it means to play for Nigeria.

They (NFF) neglect someone who does and is ready to help. Dear NFF, why have you not asked for the recommendation of Clemens Westerhof?

Make a list of the 1994 World Cup squad and compare it with th the Olympics 96 team and point out the major differences. Even Kanu Nwankwo played in friendlies under Westerhof as did Taribo West. Bonfrere Jo was and is still a mercenary.

Let's try Westerhoff and let him be assisted by Festus Onigbinde.

I think it would be better if he assists Nigeria in getting a more modern coach because of his experience with Nigerian football. The NFF would rather ask Arsene Wenger who has no connection to our football.

Bonfrere Jo is not suited for the super eagles. He's not a qualified technical expert but just a fitness trainer who took advantage of the war between the NFA officials and the then manager, Clemens Westerhof, to insinuate himself into Nigerian football. He got fired in 2001 when we almost failed to qualify for the 2002 World cup. People will refer to the Atlanta Olympics football gold medal but for many who remember know that Willy Bazuaye did all the groundwork but got no recognition for it. He (Bonfrere) is a politician, and he'll be worse than Rohr.

The NFF has ensured it'll be near impossible to sack him. He has a $2million compensation clause in his contract if he's sacked for any reason other than failing to achieve a milestone/target.

I don't know between Rashford and Martial, who is more wasteful. People tend to ignore how poorly Rashford performed in a game as soon as he registers a goal or assist. The guy was really poor in today's match. As for Martial, we need to carry him for deliverance.

I agree Rashford has been a tad less than average in his last two games. He's usually explosive when in attack. I guess he may not be fully fit or he's exhausted.
