Business / Re: What's Your Experience With Qnet? by Alicenmesoma: 11:08pm On Apr 16
I also know a thing or two about this QNET company. As a fellow Nigerian, I was skeptical about them due to their negative publicity. However, I was invited by a friend of mine to attend their Expo in Lagos. I managed to go inside the exhibition and saw some staff in uniforms explaining the products. Omo, I don shock! Na true company o. I see products for health and wellness, education, and nutrition. From what I saw, they are a true company and do not offer jobs, or travel deals.

The festive season was a special time for families to come together and celebrate. For career-driven parents, finding a balance between work commitments and family time can be challenging throughout the year. However, the holidays offered a unique opportunity to enhance family connections meaningfully. The holidays are synonymous with traditions, providing comfort for parents and children. Whether it was decorating the tree or preparing special meals, these shared experiences become cherished memories that strengthen the family bond. Giving and receiving gifts during the holidays was not just about material items but also about expressing love and appreciation. For career parents, this can be a thoughtful way to show gratitude for their families' support and understanding throughout the year.

Holidays often encourage a shift in focus from the quantity of time spent together to the quality of that time. It was also a time to embrace creativity, transforming the home into a warm and inviting space that nurtures a sense of togetherness and security for both parents and children. The holidays are a reminder of the importance of family as a support system. Busy parents often find solace in the unwavering support of their loved ones, giving them an opportunity to share joys and challenges and reaffirm the strength of the family unit.

Family / Family Living - Choosing The Best Products For Your Home by Alicenmesoma: 10:10am On Jul 13, 2023
As a wife and mom to 2 toddlers, creating a comfortable and safe environment for my family is key, and the right products can make all the difference. From furniture to appliances, selecting high-quality items ensures durability and functionality and will save you from frequent replacements. Look for products prioritising safety features, especially if little ones run around. Childproofing essentials like outlet covers and stair gates are a must.

I recently began using a water and air purifier - Homepure Nova and Homepure Zayn. These products have been a game-changer at home for us, and now I’m more relaxed that the water consumed by children is cleaner and the air is free from all these Lagos impurities we have in the air. So, research, read reviews, and invest in products that align with your family's needs and values. Kindly share your recommendations, if any.

Travel / Re: Importance Of Choosing Holiday Packages by Alicenmesoma: 8:27am On Jul 05, 2023
Thanks for the tips!!

Kolaposhodipo:
Summer is coming for some people, and so vacation planning has begun for them. So, if you’re planning a summer vacation, you can borrow a few tips here. Planning a vacation is exciting, but it's important to be able to make your vacation cost-effective. 2 years ago, after COVID, I wanted to go on a holiday to rejuvenate my soul, but the costs were not adding up, so I looked into holiday packages. The package I got included accommodations, transportation, and the activities I intended to partake in on my trip.

That package allowed me to stick to my budget because I could save more money than I would have if I had booked everything individually. Additionally, the package ensured that I explored the highlights of my destination and enjoyed various experiences. Last summer vacation with my girlfriend, we used the same package again, a qvi holiday package, and we had a blast.

So, take your time, research, and select a holiday package matching your travel style and desired activities. It's all about creating those amazing memories and having the best holiday ever as problem no dey ever finish.

Celebrities / Should Celebrities Share So Much Of Their Personal Lives? by Alicenmesoma: 12:53pm On May 16, 2023
It seems that lately, people share everything that happens in their lives, including those that other people really have no business knowing. As soon as one becomes a public figure, they begin to share a lot. And while I understand that this is all content, and most of these celebrities share events about their lives so that people can relate more with them, there should still be boundaries, and certain things should just remain private.

Most people want to know the things going on in the lives of these celebrities, including more than they are willing to share. While this can be entertaining and interesting, it is important to remember that these people are still regular humans with a right to privacy as every other person.

Career / How To Build A Career Without A White Collar Job by Alicenmesoma: 8:40am On Mar 28, 2023
I struggled to find a white-collar job for years, so I know how frustrating and disappointing job hunting can be. But I also learned that there is another path to success beyond traditional employment. After years of searching for a job, I started my own business. It wasn't easy, and there were many challenges along the way; there are still challenges every day. But it was the best decision I ever made.

Building a career as an entrepreneur requires a lot of hard work, dedication, and patience, but the rewards are worth it. You can follow your passion, create something meaningful, and make a real impact. If you struggle to find a white-collar job, I encourage you to consider entrepreneurship a viable career path. With the right mindset and skills, you can build a successful career without relying on office jobs.
