Politics / Re: Let's See How Many Northerners Are Active On Nairaland by AloloMC: 6:41pm On Mar 06, 2016
Am frm the region west of northeast and in the state north of the third most populous state. I like yoruba for their religious tolerance and igbo for being enterprising. North has its own problem that doesnt necessarily needs highlighting here for the question seems to suggest an admission of inferiority.

This may not be of any economic value in the end. How much steam is needed per hour to generate reasonable amount of power?

Science/Technology / Re: Consciousness And Sense Of Self by AloloMC: 6:27pm On Jan 11, 2016
I think this forum is about science and technology and not about too much philosopy. We should deal with matters of consciousness based on the substance of our being, i.e it relation to the workings of our brains in association with the senses. We dont seems to have an answer to how conciousness came to be the telling center of our existence for now, but we surely will.
Science/Technology / Pain, Hunger And Thirst As Alarm Signals by AloloMC: 10:07pm On Jan 09, 2016
One fascinating aspect about life is the fact that it offers(biologically speaking atleast)itself genuine protection without our conciousness. And i would like to argue that the primary reason for human conciousness is in extending the need for sustaining our breath where the self-sustaining body systems fall short. Strangly, as biological beings, we should appreciate hunger as much as satisfaction, pain as much as medicine and thirst as much as quenching it. These alarm signals manifest themslves in our conciousness for us to act and stay alive. In a way these exposes our weakness beyond comprehension and the fact that we should not get intoxicated with the beauty of knowledge to the point of denying the existence of superior being. The fact that our brain can understand the order in the universe can't be an accident.

what is explainable is your apparent anger and hatred. I would like to think of you as an ethnic bigot
