Twitter only accommodates 160 characters so perhaps that post isn't representative of his entire proposition. I am sure if given the audience to air his full opinion, we can then determine if it's worthy of condemnation or not. Perhaps he drives a solar-powered car or other technologies but I for one would have liked to hear his full opinion before deciding he is worthy of listening to or not.

I think the next logical question to ask him would have been his solution to charging the batteries. If he replies gen or PHCN, then all these insults would have been logical. Now, we may never know cos he must be too pissed to even give an answer undecided grin

princejude:

We can design and fabricate professional PCBs for you such as the one below:

Check us at: www.jutronix.com

Hmmm... What's your lead time for delivery? Have used other prospects and they don't deliver on time because in the end, such professional boards are actually made from abroad (mostly China) and they may not have control over deliver time. Also, what is your minimum acceptable order?

BTW, Nice website!

As 9free said, download and try again. I have also downloaded same file as a trial and i was able to uncompress it as see in the screenshot below.
Most importantly, make sure you are using the right program to unpack the document. I used winrar to compress the file and you can get it on the internet.

@9free, hope you were able to download and extract the files

Sorry guys that I have not contributed in a while - I am a working man smiley. I am currently uploading the cracked Flowcode file on 4shared but the internet is a bit slow plus I didn't start on time today. I am sure you guys can get it tomorrow as I will announce it here once it is finished and you can download. I also bundled a book in the "rared" file which will definitely be a great help for everyone to start using this great programming tool. Please note that you need WINRAR to be able to decompress the file. WINRAR is available on the internet in case you don't have it. Follow the installation instruction in the folder and you should be good but if you still have problems installing it, let me know here.

xchuky:
You can now make PCB in Nigeria. You can visit Veecey electronics.com or call 08037441490. Our office is at 13 Mush in Road Isolo Lagos.

Can you upload a picture of a PCB these guys have made? I have seen several locally made PCBs but they just don't look professional enough for what I can use and like I said, I am using electronics commercially for my job so I can't afford to use substandard products. Will appreciate a picture.

@ Acorntree, flowcode's latest version is 6 and in truth, it does make your work easier. As for getting it, I will try and locate the link from where you can download a working version but if that fails, I would find a way of uploading it somewhere for you guys to download tomorrow. Flowcode is great and I use it officially for 80% of my commercial programming.
@9free, you can simulate and debug in a very interactive way with watch windows to see how your variables are changing based on each step in your code and an integrated simulator that is as close to real hardware as you can get. You can also embed C codes directly in your flowcharts which enables you to explore functions that cannot directly be handled by flowcode.
Science/Technology / Re: Electronics Circuit Design From Concept To Implementation by AlPacino3(m): 5:51am On Dec 14, 2014
Hi Acorntree, 9free, Usisky and everybody. Nice job you all are doing here and I am especially happy for the knowledge transfer and to know several people are actually interested in embedded electronics. My contribution: For those looking to learn to program microcontroller but the daunting task of learning the language references and instruction sets for the specific microcontroller always puts them off, try FLOWCODE from Matrix Multimedia. Flowcode is a cross-platform language meaning you can program PICs, AVRs, ARMs, and even Arduino without really needing to learn a specific language like C or Basic. So long as you can logically think and represent your thoughts in a logical flowchart, you can be up and running within a few minutes! There are examples that can help kick start your learning and I can guarantee you that it is fun because it also has a software simulator included which helps you to see your program's behaviour in a simulated hardware environment. Try it out and if you have further enquiries, post it here as I am following the thread. wink

The topic says "unchangeable facts not many knew about" You make it seem like we are committing crime or something on this thread! Most of the things earlier mentioned, did you know about them before now? Abeg, this thread exists to broaden our knowedge base! By the way, did you know that "American Airlines saved $40,000 in 1987 by eliminating one olive from each
salad served in First Class "
. Yeah, , didn't think so!

Business / Re: Are Inverters Any Good? by AlPacino3(m): 8:52pm On Jan 28, 2008
@gidi1

Yes, Inverters are really very good. I have been dealing with them now for a decade. I have built several for many people. But i must tell you that if do not get the appropriate advice from somebody who is good and honest enough to tell you all it entails, you might end up wasting money without necessarily meeting up with your objective.

Basically, your load demand plays an important factor in the usage of inverters. Also, the availability of an alternative source to charge your batteries when they are down.

It is possible for you to rely on your inverter for up to 24hrs without NEPA but like i said, efficient energy management is required and i guess it's time we embraced that in Nigeria with the popularity of prepaid meters and all.

Inverters are available to much more than 500kva but before you dabble into it, get an advice from someone who is not just interested in selling to you but will do an appropriate evaluation based on the information you give him on your load demand.

Also, several brands are in the market. Very many only to take advantage of users who are not adequately informed about the required features of a good inverter especially in an environment like nigeria.

I have one at home and it surely saves me money on fuel and i dont get to miss out on important things i want to do simply because of "NO NEPA" smiley smiley smiley

Brendo, you cannot just say your company needs technicians, engineers etc. Why not give ppl a feel of what they are about getting into by telling them specifically what your company does. Many ppl just gather other ppls info by means like this so give yourself some credibility and tell us what your company does and what particular category of ppl you are looking for

I think very many people make the mistake of saying "my names are" but i simply think a name can be compound but that doesn't make it plural. It could be a turn down for the interviewer or what do you think?
