Won't focus on the amount but I agree with Gospel singers taking Jesus out of the music. E.g Creed, Lauren Diagle, etc The first time I noticed this was years back in school when I bought the tape (gives you an idea of the time frame) album Ten Shekel shirt. One night, had a bad dream and thought to worship with songs, was not getting any peace in my spirit after two songs and that's when a voice said in my heart "do you realize there is no mention of the name Jesus in the album?" I was stunned at that revelation because it never occured to me. Listened to the album again with that insight and confirmed that truly, Jesus was never mentioned in it. Lifehouse is another "gospel" band 1 Like |

Anyone thats needs a loan to by a 20k car with 0 or bad credit is not serious. Serious people get cars far less than that knowing its just a stop gap. Interest rates are very high for people with no credit history. I'm sure she was thinking with her heart. Else why would she co-sign for what she did not do for herself? 1 Like |

It wasn’t that much of a big move because the two towns are not that far part. Unless dude is talking of another Vancouver, the two towns are at opposite ends of the country and about 30hrs by road. Maybe 4hr time difference as well. 1 Like |

I'm sure this is just to trend because what a victim loses is not limited to the material value. A lot of people end of moving out of their homes after a home invasion because you can never feel safe in that place. Trauma goes far beyond material value 1 Like |

galserv: Mortgage is not compulsory.. it's a choice between paying rent your whole life and leave with nothing, or pay towards your own home, and at the end, you can sell off, and even make a profit, meaning not only you stayed rent free, but even gained depending on the value of your property when you sell. You don't even need to pay off the mortgage completely to be able to sell, once you sell, you pay the bank their balance and the rest is yours to keep. Mortgage rates are also low...single digits, than compared with naija at 30%. With time value of money, the average person can take a Mortgage today. In naija where you have to pay up everything, it hardly ever happens. So many uncompleted buildings tell the story. Today buy sand, next 3 months mold block etc |

“Post deregulation, NNPC set the pace by selling PMS to domestic marketers at N971 per litre for sale into ships and at N990 for sale into trucks. This set the benchmark for our pricing and we have even gone lower to sell at N960 per litre for sale into ships while maintaining N990 per litre for sale into trucks. Is this not greed? How do you benchmark against someone's cost that includes international shipping to and fro when yours is manufactured locally?..then remove 10 naira for ships? Either you want to protect the person's business (Malta Plant) or just plain greed. At the end the grass (Nigerians) suffer for it 1 Like |

There was a thread recently that 500k a month is no longer middle class and people were against the OP. 10 years ago when USD was around 120, 500k a month was over 4k USD. Getting visa was a breeze with that income Now that it's 1700. That's far less than minimum wage at under 300USD. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria fully supports the philosophy of free market operations as reiterated by our dear President in his recent Independence Day speech. Must everything be an avenue for political campaign? |
