Songhai centre is an integrated production centre where a waste from a production unit becomes a raw material in another production unit. This concept is called the ZERI concept meaning (ZERO EMISSION RESEARCH INITIATIVE). Founded in 1985 by Father Godfrey Nzamujo, a Nigerian from Imo State and a catholique priest. He used to be a prof. of Electronics in the University of Carlifornia.
