CG PET 2020 or Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test is the state level entrance test which is conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). This test is held for admission in colleges affiliated by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh. It is commenced to select the candidates for admissions in the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the various private or government colleges of the Chhattisgarh state.

Official Announcement for the date of CG PET 2020 exams will be given soon. Exams are supposed to be conducted in May 2020.

CG PET 2020 Application Form

Candidates can refer to following details about CG PET 2020 Application Form

Candidates can fill the CG PET 2020 form through online mode.
The application form will be released from the 2nd week of March 2020.
The last date to submit the CG PET application form 2020 is expected to be the Third week of April 2020.
Candidate has to upload the scanned photograph, signature and Thumb impression in a given format while filling the online application form.
Candidates should take a print out of their application form for future reference.
Before submitting the application form, candidates must verify that all the details filled in the application are correct. No correction facility will be provided by the Board to correct mistakes in the application.

Eligibility Criteria for CG PET

Students must possess Chhattisgarh domicile and also fulfill the following eligibility criteria before filling the CG PET 2020 online application form.
For B.Tech Courses

Qualification: Candidates must have pass 12th standard from recognized board.
Subjects: Candidates must pass 12th board exam with PCM Group and 1 of the technical vocational subject.
Minimum Marks: The candidates must obtain at least 45% for general category and 40 % for reserved categories.

For Agriculture Engineering
Qualification: Candidates must have pass 10+2 standard from a recognized board.
Subjects: Candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
Minimum Marks: The candidates must secure 50% for general category and 40 % for reserved categories students.

For Dairy Technology
Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
Subjects: Candidate must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
Qualifying Marks: Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) aggregate in the qualifying exam
Age Limit: The candidates must have a minimum of 17 years of age as on or before 31.12.2020

The application forms for JEE Main-2018 are out for students aspiring to get admissions in collages like IIT’s. The forms are out since 1 December 2017. The last date to fill the online forms is 1 January 2018 and the fee for the application forms can be paid till 2 January 2018. Also, the only way this time to fill the form is online. There are no offline forms available from this year therefore, it is very important to fill the forms before the ending dates, i.e. 1 January 2018. The students who want to get into state collages are also advised to fill these forms. Furthermore, states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Odisha, Nagaland and Haryana, who were not a part of JEE have also joined with it from this year. So it is recommended that candidates willing to get admissions in these states should also fill the online application forms for JEE Main-2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Starting from this year, the weightage of 12th standard will be ZERO. But the candidates must score at least 75% in their 12th board exams(for SC/ST, it will be 65%) or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by their respective boards and carry the score cards to their respective centres.
Also, candidates born before 1 October 1993 are not eligible to give the exams. 5 year relaxation will be granted to SC/ST & PWD candidates.
Candidates giving exams must pass the qualifying exam with at least 5 subjects including mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects.
There is no minimum marks requirement in 12th examination in order to sit for the JEE Main examination.
How to apply
The process of filling the application form is very easy.
Firstly, the candidates will have to get their Identities authenticated with their Adhaar cards.
In the next step, they need to fill up the application form.
Next is the verification of E-mail id and mobile number. These will come handy to check updates and status of the application form in the future.
Then the candidates are supposed to upload scanned images of signature and a recent coloured passport size photograph.
The last step is the payment of fees.
Make sure the application form status says “ok” and the payment is also complete. If not, recheck everything and clarify the problems.

After filling the application form, a review option is available to recheck them.
Go to the official website of JEE Main-2018.
Log in using your application number and verification code.
Edit any field by using the “edit” option provided.
Click “save” at the end of submission of the new details.
Do recheck your form after submitting to remove any further doubts.
Forms with problems will be rejected.
