Travel / Re: Untold Truth About Why Immigrants Are Leaving Canada by Amanda86(f): 10:58pm On Aug 27, 2022
The whole content of this article is showing that Nigerians have a mentality that if they move abroad it is too be rich, if that is your only goal then stay in Nigeria and find your wealth. You are going to Canada with the mindset of a Nigerian, open your mind and find the good in your location, engage in their culture, appreciate good healthcare, schools, a good standard of living. Stop chasing the fake social media lifestyle and look for a good standard of living and a safe place to raise your family. Or if you want to stay rigid and only live life like a Nigerian, then stay in Naija. That is the white mans land, you should be adopting their culture not trying to force your own into there’s.
Simple truth na.

Culture / Re: Who Is More Hard Working? African Or Western Women by Amanda86(f): 6:54pm On Aug 14, 2012
Im a white woman married to a nigerian man.

I would say the African woman typically works harder as the chores in western culture are usually spilt between husband and wife (only fair) If the man and woman both go to work then why should the woman do all the chores! She been to work all day too! lol

Though I think stay at home mothers in both situations work hard though men seem not to consider this work!

I agree with previous comment that african women have it harder physically.

African woman.

She wakes up by 6.00am, baths the kids and preps them for school, drops the kids off and heads to work, pick the kids and noon and drops them off with the babysitter then goes off to another job, returns at 6 with dinner from a fast food, tidies up and preps for the following day. I guess you know who she is. tongue
Travel / Re: Nigerian Passport Application In The Uk by Amanda86(f): 6:42pm On Aug 14, 2012
I'm having same problem. I'm a British Citizen. Clearly none of the official know what they are talking about, a man at HC London told me to go to it in Nigeria they will be no problem in me getting passport! Bah.
I find it disgracful that I have to continue paying for a visa every year, but even more so that I cannot get citizenship in the country my husband comes from. Just another way for the theives to make money!!!
