Family / Re: Why you Shouldn't Leave Your Parents House When You're Not Capable by Amanee(f): 2:13pm On Jun 27, 2020
Peace of mind is the ultimate

You can't be suffering under employment, grilling from your boss, hectic Lagos traffic and other designs by the Nigerian government to frustrate youths and be living in hell on earth.

Without peace of mind, you can't focus on the important things and progress so if staying alone will afford you that (and you can afford it) don't think twice, move out. Because some family members are best related with from afar.

Speaking from experience.

I just saw it now, I'm sorry for the mix-up. Thank you for your contributions if we have more contributors like you, this thread would be robust with information

Did you check the previous thread?...
The day I got my visa, I wrote everything I went through and my processes here
I even showed the documents I submitted

I only follow this thread, I'm not aware of another thread. If you meant previous posts, I'll check again

I honestly appreciate your input on this, truly I do but why didn't you help us with more info on your journey when you started and how the process was like. This thread suffers a dearth of experiences that would have made it fuller and more informative because of people like you. Even if you didn't get much help from here during your journey you could have at least helped upcoming students with your wealth of experience. Again, I don't mean to offend and I hope you both get the gist of my post.

I get the whole thing you trying to pass out and trying to help but here’s the thing...I live in Warsaw, in a private university and with a good job. If you are encouraging people to choose smaller cities, how many work/jobs are there in smaller cities?...as you said, it’s hard to find people who speaks English in smaller cities. So, which work would a person who doesn’t understand polish find in smaller cities?. Every foreigner I know here seems to be in private university.
Jobs dn’t pay higher in bigger cities...only accommodations are lesser in smaller cities.
I once went for an interview(job interview) and one Zimbabwe guy came all the way from Lublin for the same interview.
I’m not saying you are right or wrong. Just trying to say stop giving out informations that aren’t facts
Picking public universities
You are the first person saying people should avoid bigger cities

Family / Re: Is It Good To Expose A Child To Money At An Early Stage? by Amanee(f): 2:25pm On Jun 25, 2020
Growing up in poverty and lack doesn't make children turn out right and growing up in riches doesn't make children turn out great either.

If parents neglect the necessary early education on how to grow up to become a responsible member of society such child will end up becoming a nuisance

Family / Re: The Unjust Feeling Of Entitlement From Family And Friends by Amanee(f): 2:43pm On Jun 23, 2020
So far the entitlement will not physically transfer the money out of my account to yours, I'm good.

The bitter truth is that those complaining about entitled family members live with a fear of what people will say about them that's why they spend their lives pleasing people to their own detriment. If you can't afford to give anybody a dime, do not give! You will not die if you say 'No!'

At ministry of education you pay 1000 for waec scratch card, 600 for a form, 1350 for remita and 1000 for letter of eligibility

I tried ministry of foreign affairs and was told its still on partial lockdown and some people serving as agents met me outside and said they could do it for me for 1k for document

I'm going for MSc not BSc, would I still need the scratch card?

I think so, I decided to apply for collegium civitas instead, they told me to send my academic records to their email because of the covid 19, then I'll bring it to school with me and submit once I resume

Okay
Thanks

I know originally you're meant to send to the school and they'll return it with your admission letter But right now i think you can upload scanned copies of your academic records and when you go to school you'll submit it

Did they stop @emboldened because of Covid 19 because I still saw a place for deadline for submitting documents?

I uploaded scanned copies

Hi guys, so I've studied the admission and qualification process to the University of Warsaw and some things are not still clear:

-Before being granted admission one is required to submit the originals of certificate and transcript to the school before a deadline. Nothing was said about when and if the documents would be returned after granting admission. Will they be returned?

-If they won't be returned what will I use during the visa application?

-There was no mention of if they send admission letters for visa application. Will I have to request it?

-If the school collects my original certificates when do I expect to receive it?

Good evening everyone. Please I've some questions ;

1)-Regarding employment, i am paid salary in cash. It's not a big firm and the salary is small. What documents do i need to support this cash salary .?
2)For proof of funds- I'm using fixed deposit and gift deed from my parent.
A) do i need to show accrual of funds for the fixed deposit?
B) must the gift money be in my account before ITA?
C) after drafting the deed do i have to get an affidavit and notarize as well? Is it even the deed or a letter that needs affidavit and notarization?
D) must i produce my dad's statement showing the transfer of the gift money?
3)when is the best time to do medicals and PCC, before or after ITA?

Thank you

Hello everyone, can my Msc education timeline be the same period for the 3 years work experience I am using. I am actually a Graduate Assistant in a federal university and I acquired my MSc in another university where I studied for 3 years. I left for postgraduate studies 5months after my appointment. Can I claim 3 years of work experience in the university despite the fact that I was running my MSc in another country. My HOD can give me the work reference.

This has a huge fishy stink

You better stick to the truth
Family / Re: Please Help! My Mum's Bad Attitude Is Rubbing Off On Me by Amanee(f): 9:03am On Jun 14, 2020
Stop blaming your parents

You're an adult and one of the important traits of being a grown up is that you can consciously choose to retrain yourself from displaying toxic behaviour learnt from childhood influences. Nobody is perfect, we're all works in progress. But what seperates the chaff from wheat is the ability to master your own emotions and work on your attitude

Hello House, please is there any one here who has evaluated OND & HND, Jounalism from the National Institute of Journalism (NIJ) with WES. Was it positively evaluated. How did you go about it? Please help, a friend need this info.

If you have OND and HND, that's already two or more certificates, adding the NIJ certificate is unnecessary

That is part of the cause. You need to work on your vocabulary and tenses, it's not magic

Used it and I really like it

It's quite flexible and like someone pointed out, it can be used for flossing

And for those that like reusing toothpicks, you can reuse this one after washing it, I think that's one of the reasons why it's plastic

He's probably not interested in the things you're interested in. The relationship is still young and there's time for the both of you to adjust to each other.

Nobody comes ready-made and relationships are hardwork. For youths nowadays, it's easy to see a couple in sync with each other and say 'goals, God when?' Etc. Forgetting that such relationship had a lot invested aside 'I love you' and sex.

Don't be overly conscious of trying to change him in this aspect if not you'll get frustrated. Give it time and try to learn his own interests too.
