No one would bother about Tinubu if he isn't planning to contest for presidency.

And why should he not contest? Because you hate his guts? And who the hell are you? If dem born your papa well, stop him from contesting. He will contest and he will win without your vote, then you can kill yourself if you like. Hope you have your suicide note prepared. Regardless, you must live to witness his victory at the polls. Whatever you decide to do afterwards is left to you.

Wish you all the best, sir.
In 50 years, ur country will still be useless. At least Ghana has electricity, what has ur country ever gotten right after electing all these old men for decades?
No wonder airport is always fully loaded as people lle keep running away.
And I'm speaking for those who don't wish these old failed bast*rds from ruling us again.
For three days, no light in my area. I had to is install solar powered electricity in my flat to enjoy electricity. Very useless country.

People like u are enemy of black race. Wicked souls. Voting old failed creatures who don't even know what modern leadership is all about.

You are mad. You are blowing all these grammar simply because I choose not to be a zombie and follow your choice?? Because I said you are free to vote whomsoever you choose while respecting other people's right to also vote for their choice?

You are very stupid Mr. Man. Who is stopping your preferred candidate from running for office? I ask you? Did Tinubu say you should or must vote for him if he contests?? Or maybe you are just afraid that whoever you want to vote for instead (probably Atiku or another politician that is no different from the Tinubu you are developing hbp over) won't stand a stand against him at the polls. Look here, no one is stopping you from going to Ghana because of Tinubu. Nigeria is overpopulated anyway so you won't be missed.

Guy, vote your choice and leave others to vote theirs and stop trying to guilt trip others.

@NoApology: Not necessarily. It depends on the profession or sector. There are some professions you can't practice in without a certificate of some sort. E.g, Law, Accountancy, Engineering, etc. While there are others that are more skills based, and where you can get by on account of your flair and aptitude. Eg Software programming, professional football, etc.

Oga, we don't want Tinubu abeg. What is all these? There are younger and great Nigerians who have done well even in international politics that can rule and transform this country especially working on our useless constitution.
Which one is Tinubu transform Lagos? Because Lagos is in the mist of failure doesn't mean it has transformed.
U are seeing Lagos as transformed because Nigeria runs a useless system of govt which made almost all the states totally never going to develop and very backward, thereby, the little buildings here and there in Lagos now looks like massive development to u all. No be the same Lagos I know?

When will Nigerians get to know that all these buildings don't mean development?

Does Lagos have 24/7 electricity supply to all her citizens? How is the health emergency sector in Lagos state? How do Lagosians get water that is clean or is it by the usual everyone dig ur own borehole?
How is security emergencies handled? How about housing system? How about transportation? How about Healthcare? What of education? When the building collapsed in Lagos, how was the emergency managed? Could lives be saved more if there were better technology to handle such incident? Does Lagos have the man power and technology for such?
Lol
These and more are what transformation means not the things we see here. Nigerians are so used to terrible things no wonder govt still commission roads grin
Lagos only seem way too good because she is sorrounded by failed states across Nigeria due to our useless centralized political system that has HQ almost everything in Lagos.

Any ways, many Nigerians won't even understand this.
Ordinary Accra, Ghana has 24/7 electricity. When I fly down to Lagos, na so so darkness full everywhere with noisy generator. Lol.
Naija is sick.

Who are the 'we' you are referring to? I want and will vote for Tinubu if he contests, and I am a Nigerian too! Nigeria is operating a democracy, which means that multiple parties would present their candidates for the electorate to decide. You are but one of the millions of eligible Nigerian voters (that's even if you have a voter's card). If Tinubu's party presents him as their candidate, don't vote for him. But you have no right to tell him or anyone not to contest. You are free to vote for your preferred candidate oga. Jeez. Some of you are worse in your dictatorial tendencies than the leaders your criticize.

discusant:
If they posed in this picture with hope to have Tinubu succeed PMB as president, they posed for perpetuating injustice, strife and no meaningful development in Nigeria after 2023.

They know that the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria necessitated zoning of the presidency between the north and the south; and that rotation in the southern regions stipulates that it’s the turn of the Igbo to succeed PMB.

A Muslim has never succeeded a Muslim as president since 1999. How come any persons not looking for strife in Nigeria would propose Tinubu as successor to PMB?

Abegi make we hear word. The same una wey dey push for Atiku (a Muslim, Northerner, and above 70yrs of age) suddenly have a problem with Tinubu (a Muslim southerner of yoruba extraction) succeeding Buhari. You people's hypocrisy stinks.

Why?

Like seriously, you are asking why? As if you don't know that standards apply differently when Tinubu is the subject. If it were Atiku, every excuse would be given to justify why his zone, religion, and age should not matter. But when it's Tinubu, they suddenly remember a Muslim within his age bracket shouldn't be allowed to run.

Politics / Re: 2023 Elections: Generals In Fresh Move To Rescue PDP by AmbaliJ: 7:31am On Sep 26, 2021
Investigation revealed that while the North-West is foreclosed in their permutation, the South-East, which produced the vice-presidential candidate, Peter Obi in the 2019 race, is equally likely to lose the slot to the South-South with Nyesom Wike and Ifeanyi Okowa, sitting governors of Rivers and Delta states, respectively as choices. “The South-East will take the slot of Senate President,” the source further revealed.

Now this is the part I find most interesting, because it is more practical under the prevailing circumstances. I had predicted it earlier that the SE would most likely lose its leverage to even ask for the VP slot under the PDP, due to the failure and inability of its political elite to rein in and control the activities and growing influence of the ipob secessionist movement, whose influence keeps growing by the day. Apparently, the SE's loss would be Wike's (SS) gain.

No serious party would cede its VP position to such an unstable regional bloc. The way it is looking, ipob might actually ensure that elections do not hold in SE in 2023.

Politics / Re: 2023: Hope For South Eastern President Dims by AmbaliJ: 9:31am On Sep 18, 2021
seunmsg:
I still don’t get why south east can’t put up a strong candidate for PDP ticket. Why should the front runner in PDP be Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed? What happens to Peter Obi, Ekweremadu, Anyim Pius Anyim etc? What the fvck is wrong with our SE politicians?

The reason is simple. The SE political elite are well aware that they have burnt bridges with a critical part of the country that could swing an election in the favour of a presidential candidate from their end. No thanks to their tacit support for a rabid anti-North campaign by the militant ipob since GEJ's election loss. Therefore, they figure that their best bet would be to play second fiddle by settling (hopefully) for the VP slot under another Northern/Fulani candidate.

But even that strategy is now under threat as Wike is seemingly positioning himself for that coveted VP position.

In the end, they'll rather tolerate another Northern president for an extra 8-years, out of spite for the SW, whom they refuse to acknowledge are within their right to contest for the presidency in 2023. But unfortunately for them, politics is a game of numbers, and the SW has demonstrated that they aren't scared of anybody or region (North or South) in their quest for the top seat. Their failure to see beyond their pettiness and bigotry against Yorubas may just see them having to endure another 8-yrs of wailing in the opposition camp.

Career / Re: My Experience Visiting A Bank For Loan As An Entrepreneur by AmbaliJ: 10:06am On Sep 14, 2021
@IsaacRocks: Banks don't loan money to startup businesses or entrepreneurs that are yet to prove that they can succeed in the business. They mainly fund big businesses (because that's where they can rake in big bucks from interest rates). If you're just an up-and-coming entrepreneur, you will have better luck of raising funds from family, friends, grant programs, or Angel investors. undecided It is what it is.

3 years plus.

The first 5 years of most marriages are usually the most challenging. After that it often only gets better as you would have come to better understand one another. The truth is that you are also already cheating on your husband as it stands, even though you have not yet met your ex or gotten physical with him, emotionally you are already cheating on your husband as well.

There's no telling how your current affair with your ex would end but it would most likely end in tears, for you especially. Primarily because he is knowingly crossing a line that he knows quite well that he ought not to - - getting this close to a married woman. That, to me, demonstrates that he lacks character and discipline as an individual.

Though I understand that right now your heart finds it convenient to indulge and bask in the distraction that he is currently offering.

My candid advice to you is to do some serious soul searching. And please, don't lie to yourself. If you feel the marriage is done, initiate a divorce so you can begin the process of moving on. Otherwise, this affair with your ex while married won't augur well.

My two cents.
