Good day house. I already passed my IELTS. I have been trying to make verification payment on the nmcn website. It keeps saying “email and confirmation email do not match”. How do I go about this please?

Put the organisation’s email in the space provided for email maybe?

Nothing yet, still waiting. I sent an email to my MP yesterday to help me check on my application. The Home office has been contacted by my MP this morning, so I’m waiting for their response.

Hi, have you gotten a decision on your application now?

Space isn't an issue. It's for 2 adults and a kid

TheGuyFromHR:

Narrow down the questions.
Start with:
1. the number of people the bed is to accommodate preferably.
2. How much space you have to play with.

Good morning house. Please what type of mattress /bed is best to get here in UK? And please possibly refer me to where I can buy online as furniture shops aren't opened here due to tier 4 restrictions. I've tried searching for mattress but there are too many types and it gets me confused. Thanks.

Make a formal complaint to home office about your inability to receive a decision on your visa application. They'll take it up from there.

miiday1:
Please is there anyone here that applied for their UK visa in March and is yet to receive their documents or passport? I applied in March and still haven't heard from TLS. I have contacted UKVI and the matter has been escalated twice but still nothing from TLS. What do you advice that I do?

When you use the "keep my passport " option from TLS, what's the time frame for receiving back your passport after submission?

Please do you have any idea about how one can schedule an appointment to visit British deputy high commission? It's been about 6 months since I made an application and a decision has been made with no feedback.

mimilyrics:
In some cases, it takes one week and in others, it takes longer.

Sometimes you don't even get it till you go to the BHC. I don't know if you can just go to the BHC now because of the Covid-19 situation.
Case in point, for one overturned refusal, the passport wasn't returned to TLS within the normal expected timescales and it was only handed over by the BDHC after 2 visits. On the 1st visit, the applicant was asked to contact UKVI by the security guys but on the 2nd visit, the applicant was allowed in after stating that Sheffield redirected to the BDHC even though it wasn't exactly stated in plain terms.

Upon receiving the passport, it showed that the visa had been issued like 2 weeks back but had expired because it had a 1-day validity; this had to be reprinted and it took roughly 1 hour.

Hi,
If you did your biometrics before lockdown and you're yet to get back your passport & you're on twitter, kindly join the hashtag #PrioritiseMarchApplications #ReturnOurPassports and comment on Nigeria British high commission page @ukinNigeria. Few people have been doing that, maybe our voices can be heard just like that of #ReplacetheVignettes.

It doesn't apply to us, we can only hope our applications are prioritized now that they're almost done with vignette replacement.

johnez1987:

I don't know if this applies to those of us who have gotten a decision but yet to get their passport/visa.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ameey: 8:18pm On Aug 26, 2020

its not easy o, mine is 11th March. its getting crazier and frustrating.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ameey: 2:12pm On Aug 26, 2020
Please is there anyone who did biometrics after 20th of March prior lockdown that has gotten visa? Or do you know of any one with an old application that was granted visa recently?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ameey: 5:34pm On Aug 25, 2020
The silence is annoying, it seems they've refused to process old applications and their focus is currently on new ones.

Symbae:

Same here, has anyone received their new vignette yet?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ameey: 12:36pm On Aug 24, 2020
Mine is still with DMC too, it's tiring!
