Politics / Re: Tinubu Has Solution For Impact Of Subsidy Removal, Says Oshiomhole (Video) by Amhopeful: 9:30am On Jun 05, 2023
Exactly. The country is not in the best shape to make such decisions in a hurry.I don't know if it was out of excitement or spite.
meum:
But GEJ didn’t have Abi? GEJ put measures in place before the proposed subsidy removal yet those in power today convened at Ojota to fight the same thing they rushed to implement. The difference is clear!

I am not against subsidy removal. I feel it was rushed. All in an attempt to appear presidential on Inauguration Day & may be deliver on an election promise I guess.

I believe a good leader is proactive rather than reactive. Measures should have been put in place to cushion the effect(s) of the removal. Whatever solution he has should have been in place at least to a certain level(while Nigerians await full implementation) before the announcement of the removal by end of June as planned for by the outgone administration. I believe government is a continuum much more one that is of course he same party.
Family / Re: Help Me With Budgeting.... My 400k Salary No Longer Takes Me Home. by Amhopeful: 1:45pm On Jun 01, 2023
You just have to be deliberate about saving. Look at it this way. You are single and work from home sometimes, then a mini flat should be enough for you.
You can't be spending so much on fuel for generator and car at same time. Its either you work from home most of the time that's why you need fuel hereby spending lesser for car or vice versa.
As for feeding its just too much, if you can spend 4500 monthly on subscription to watch TV,then you can create time to cook some basic meals for yourself. There are many places you can get food at a cheaper rate. With 30k ,you can get some tubers of yams, plantain, soup ingredients and more that could last you for two months get someone to cook stew and soup for you, refrigerate it while you boil rice or make EBA for yourself. At least you should know how to boil yam.
The data and airtime can be cut to half that amount. If it's not necessary, don't call.
Cut down on your outings.
Once in a while, when you're home, starch and iron your clothes yourself. You just have to be intentional about cutting down some things. Best of luck.

Family / Re: Worried About My 1year Marriage! by Amhopeful: 8:32am On May 26, 2023
Exactly. Sex is a choice and so is sleeping with other ladies. You have to be intentional about working on your marriage. You are both young. Try talking with her, take her out on dates, spend some quality time together maybe without the sex so you can find out more attractive things about her and let the feelings grow. I wish you well.
LLSAINT:
I think OPs, you are the problem.
First of all, welcome to the institution called marriage.
S$x starts with the mind. If you lose it, you lost it.
If other girls call and your dickkie comes alive, it simply means you have already engaged them in your mind before the very act.
Work on your mind and communicate more with your wife.
Cuddle her on bed still you sleep off.
Let the thoughts of other girls leave your mindset for you to get focused.
Her 'doughnut' is not different from the ones you fantasize.
Wetin dey sweet man for outside, easy to kill am o!

Just watched the movie Rise based on Adetokumbo's story. Such an interesting journey and big congratulations to both of them.
