**************** Contd The doctor, who majored in theology believed that there is a superior realm that exists in man'r physical body and the entire universe. To him, Spirits are our neighbours and magic is what borders our line of existence from theirs. Fire, water and earth are the three principal elements in magic and before any spell can efficaciously effect its desired end, these three elements must be united with a liquid ease, by rendering chants. The effect of magic depends on how complicated you unite these elements. Black magic has a thick line of difference from 'white' magic as he puts it. That was the project the doctor was working on. He needed to know what the other element(s) are. Doctor Saul always sounded gibberish to him whenever he talked about magic. He never had the penchant for magic until that day when that same phenomenon changed his life. This phenomen changed his fate from a brilliant college student to a vagabond roaming the desolate woods of Arizona. That was the fate that everyone suffered. It all happened destructively like an earthquake. There was a sound, a very deafening one. The noise was like every parts of the sky above gave a thundering noise. He wasn't able to see all these events for himself as he hid under his bed that night. The noise paralyzed everything, everybody and their perfect world. Although the noise was just a bye-product of the cataclysm. The globe went off its axis, out of its orbit into another age he read about in literature. His reaction to this turn of events wasn't a surprised one. At least, he wasn't as surprised as many people were. Doctor Saul had prophesied it. 'It will happen within tiny fragments of time.' 'Time will be reversed back thousands of years like the wheels of a car. Man will be forced to live with untamed evils that started at creation and his premordial enemies.' He had revealed the doom that will welcome the world to him alone. But he didn't tell him about its timing. Bad things happen with bad timing. This wasn't the time the world was suppose to be singing its dirge. He was prepared for the transition but he thought it was a comedy. But was succintly wrong. ******** He brought out the last packet of chocolate he had in his camp bag and removed the tissue that covered it.That was the only valuable thing he brought out of their burnt house. He couldn't bring out his mother and sisters from death. But he was also able to garner some magic books from the attic.Magic literature was the only thing that can save his world now from total extermination. He also saw his Apple phone and almost threw it away. All internet networks were crippled since the transition. Then he remembered he saved some webpages on the gadget. He looked at Doctor Saul's picture which was his wallpaper and browsed his phone till he opened a web-page. 'Archeologists discover a queer revelations'He puffed as he saw the news. 1 Like |

***EPISODE 1*** Manolin crawled up inside the dark hut in the cover of the night trembling. He have seen the scarest events in the recent days. Since the entire globe plunged into calamity through the doings of some unkown magicians from the Mediterranean swamps. He had read this in news and still found it difficult and incredible to believe. How will a clique of diabolic souls singlehandedly bring this world into a sinister past? But the best thing for him to do right now is not to ask questions. The whole world has changed. The answers to its many questions no longer correspond. He tenaciously studied the hut where he sought refuge inside and couldn't rationalise the puzzles all around him. The hut housed many nameless objects which he had always seen in London musuem when he travelled to the U.K two years ago. He wasn't a lover and fan of arts and antiques. The walls were made of crude woods. The ground was covered with hay and the door looked as rough as prison door. He kept asking the same question, 'Where Am I?' He remembered his two siblings and mum. They died to a strange inferno that rocked Arizona during the transition of the world from its perfect present. Although his life was never perfect as the world was perfect in technology and science. His dad drank alcohol with a recalcitrant ingenuity and vented his temper on the whole family. His mother was always on the receiving end of his fists. His mother later divorced him when she gave birth to Caroline, his youngest sister. Since that time, they lived below standard on the meagre wage his mother earned in a fabric firm. Their life was a perfect opposite of the perfection of the outside world. His father, Ted never came back again and their grief never came back again. They became a good family and lived harmoniously untill a greater grief came with an unannounced alacrity and this time around the grief was a communal bane, not just for Arizona or the States. He had read a lot about magic. His tutor in the college, Doctor Saul drafted many theses on magic. He told him how to invoke dead spirits through the utterance of ancient accent which is the language of Spirits. 1 Like |

folagbade23: these are the kinda arguments i hate to have in my life... Arguing that UI is better than OAU and all sorts of. I happen to be a 200level student of OAU. When i was about entering OAU in 2011 i was one of those that always criticize OAU for their things but i later realized why OAU always do what they do. OAU's post utme model is just strightforward, most candidate will score low marks in the UTME and the will come and score 270 and above in the post utme, then they will start complaining that they had high scores in the post utme but they were not admitted, wont ur utme score bring u down??Hausa, you dhan hear? |

Hausa: not all Unis publish the post utme score... If u had a low score in ur postume, wud u be happy if someone else saw it? Results shud be made available first, to the eye of the person that wrote it.lol, one quality of a good argument is one that lacks emotions. And the other quality is to hammer your points convincingly instead of jumping from one 'web' to another without making any sense just to hide your head. Brother, learn how to argue am begging you(I hope you are not a law student?:-() btw, if a schnol has a name to protect, why not publish the results! That's the standard used in Havard, Yale and othe world universities! When you talked of the change in admission system, U.I is a very dynamic school so you dont expect them to be doing the same thing over and over. And not every admission system favours everybody bro. What's good for the goose can be bad for the gander... I wont argue again if I realize that you haven't changed. ======== jossybaba, wetin happen nah? |

Hausa: Let me just quickly comment on a few.Do I need to define transparency for you? Well I didnt argue U.I's transparency on the premisses of cheap registration and by my definition of transparency, I mean U.I's admission is publicised for public scrutiny. U.I is a school that has a name to protect. That's why there is little or no controversy about U.I's admission unlike O.A.U and others where the school invites triple the amount of students they are able to admit, for their post jamb(Except for this year that O.A.U invited fewer candidates. There is no discrimination in the admission system, once you get the right score, whether you are HAUSA, IBO or YORUBA, you are in. In U.I,you know the reason(s) why you are not admitted. There is no manipulations or whatsover which are rife in UNILAG and even O.A.U.. These religiously contribute to U.I's transparency that other schools lack! Unless, you are not that good in English you wont grasp my concept of transparency and point of correction, not all Unis publish the post utme score. Unibadan the first and the best does that on the school website. Now tell me, does O.A.U do that? ... Btw,your number 3.. That she(UNILORIN) doesn't admit the supremacy of U.I doesn't repeal the fact that U.I is the best. Ofcourse,no one will openly admit that someone is better than him! I am insulted if you think U.I's college of medicine is second to any in Nigeria! Is it the size or the equipments? Ooops:-/.. U.I's college of medicine spearheaded medical researches right from 1940s till 1970 when the funding from FG decline. Even at that time,U.I's medicine still towered highest till now when funding have sufficiently increased. Finally, I've been to O.AU before so I know what I'm saying! I will urge you to come here to see things for yourself. U.I road network is better than O.A.U's. If I were to be subjective in my analysis, why would I agree that O.A.U is better than U.I infrastructure wise? Bro,abeg come to U.I before making shallow comments here. |

Hausa: dis tym he wasnt talking bout d hostel but d skul generallylol, did I mention the entire campus? My line of argument is that Unibadan's halls are way far better (neater, more beautiful and more conducive) than O.A.U's. Well,O.A.U may be more beautiful than U.I infrastructure-wise but if we jutaxpose the Institutions in every ramifications, UNIBADAN is the best oh.. You need facts? Okay! Facts : 1. Most transparent admission process [The admission processing fee is 2k and you can check your result for free!]Your results are published too! Tell me, is there any school that does this in Nigeria. 2. U.I has the highest number of professors in Nigeria. Most of those V.Cs in other schools are 'omo' U.I. Unijos, unilorin were once affiliates of U.I! 3. U.I zoological garden is second to none. 4.Our college of medicine is the first and indisputably the best! It's stocked with modern equipments which other Teaching hospitals (OAUth) lack. 5. The road network is way better than O.A.U's. Ask any IFE students! All the roads in U.I are tarred compared to what obtains in other schools. 6. In terms of maintenance of the so-called infrastructure U.I is better than O.A.U. That's why Mellanby Hall which was built before Independence still looks neater than your earliest hall! 7. Awolowo hall is the biggest hall in West Africa! 8. Kenneth Dike library is inarguably the biggest in West Africa after UNN's library. 9. Our academic achievements both past and present supercede O.A.U. Is it the U.I law student who led the Law school or the U.I engineering student who was nominated google ambassador. Our alumnis: Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, Isidore Ikpekwhor, Chika(The best mathematician) and others just to mention a fragment few! These are just few of the reasons why U.I is better than O.A.U. |

If I were you, I would be sipping a can of malt ni oh and simultaneously pray to God for his favour. The fact is that U.I has already compiled the list nothing can change that. But one prayer you guys should be praying is that during the course of uploading these names, there wont be any error that will cost you your being shortlisted In Jesus' name, In Allah's name and in...... Guys, mah you chill oh, dont be too anxious that you will forget that you are on the road! GoodluckB-) |
