Well, I am uk, and I felt that I had to leave a certain church once, because guys who had recieved an "impartation" from Todd Bentley were coming to the church to pass on their special "impartation". The leaflet that we all received looked very good, and I was looking froward to it. However, inadvertantly, I came across Tod Bentley elsewhere, and was very grateful to have done so. When i further researched him, I was totally alarmed. I tried to warn the pastor, but he gave me short shrift. So I left of my own volition.

All these tattoos, and dreadful they are, and the piercings were done post Todd Bentley becoming a Christian.  Even when he began in ministry he was clean shaven and very smart.  He has gone completely wampy.

Two weeks ago, a read in a National daily in Nigeria, that there was uproar in a local church because the Pastor requested members of the congregation to pay their first salary of the year- for the month of January as first fruit offering to the Church.

Whatever those Israelites were up to in the Old Testament, does not give Christians a mandate to take slaves in the present day and post Jesus Christ. Besides which, there is not instruction given in the Old Testament which validifies the ill treatment of black people that has happened since. These people that did this are going to be in BIG TROUBLE. The commision of the Christian by Jesus Christ, is to preach the gospel, heal the sick and cast out devils. That is it.

The title of this post is: "It doesn't matter who wrote the Bible". The answer to this proposition is: Yes it does matter who wrote the Bible, as " Timothy 3:16 states that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God". It is not a Christians obligation to even argue about matters concerning evolution with those who do not believe. A Christian's obligation to a non-believer is to show the love of Christ, to preach the Gospel and to demonstrate through the Power of the Holy Spirit the reality of Jesus Christ.

Have you heard of William Willberforce who fought for the abolition of slavery? I am not talking about our British Government. I am talking about white British Christians who fought to right a wrong.

It is not given that in the New testament Paul justifies slavery. He could have just as well have said "employees be obedient to your bosses,, as unto Christ" He does not say slaves. I don't know about the Americans, but it was British Christians that sought to abolish slavery in this country. However, I think that you are trying to subvert the post.

We are all fearfully and wonderfully made. Yes we are, so we are. If any person has been involved in the slavery of the blacks, then they haven't been reading their bibles. Oh no they haven't- no they haven't. Adn It was Isaac Newton, that was a slave trader, and became born again, and read his bible, and did an about turn. Yes he did, so he did. And Even Richard Dawkins believes in intelligent design- so he does- he just doesn't want to believe that God is the designer- oh no, no he doesn't!!

Oh hi, plenty of people believe in creation- not just the Africans. Evolution is a fairy-tale, and even a fairy tale is more real. They want you to believe in evolution because they want you to believe that you are less than you really are. Eugenics has strong links with evolution and also the ill treatment of the black people.

Well, I knew a man once who was healed of terminal spinal cancer with weeks to live. And the doctor did record it on his medical records as an act of faith, and he did say that he had known this sort of thing to happen before.
