Thank you for responding to my question. I understand the accommodation requirement and not getting it too early.

You‘re welcome

Yes your earning is enough to bring your family just make sure you get a bigger space close to when she gets interview date or after because you will be required to present proof of your accommodation at some point during the visa processing ( saying this so you don't have to keep paying for a big space you don't need for about a year that's just waste of money)

Good morning all, I have a question.
I am earning about 50k/annum and about obtaining an EU Blue card.
I would like to ask if i am earning enough to bring over my wife and two children from Nigeria?
I learnt they (immigration officers) have a special way of calculating this.
I would be glad if someone can be kind enough to explain this to me.

Thanks in advance.

Please any answer to this question?

No you don’t need to get a Nigerian insurance for her. Just send her the details of the German insurance that you already added her to for her to submit to the embassy with her passport. That’s what I did and a couple of others I know and we didn’t have issues.
