Popular Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu who has suffered stroke for a while now was recently given a brand new exotic jeep and cash, by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta state.

The actor who was once one of the most sought after actors in Nollywood before he suffered partial stroke last year, 2016, became lucky when the man of God came to his rescue.

Now, Ernest Asuzu’s life has been turned around. After spending one year in Mercyland, Asuzu has been totally healed of his stroke, as he can now walk properly.

The anointed man of God also gave the actor, a new jeep worth N3.5m, and a parting sum of N1.5m to start up a new life.

Suge Knight, the former CEO of Death Row Records who was with Tupac on the night of the shooting added fuel to the fire in 2012 when he hinted the rapper may be alive, he said he never saw the body.

'Maybe the question is, Pac's not really dead. Pac's somewhere else,' he said during a radio interview.

A pastor and an apostle were today, Friday June 17, caught pants down in Ngwo community of Enugu North Local Government of Enugu State. Below is an eyewitness account shared with Newest Rivers:

"Around 1.00am in the morning two men were caught having sexual intercourse. One of them is a pastor and the other is known as an apostle. The so called pastor who was discovered to be the man in the gay relationship had been reported earlier to the vigilante group of Ngwo neighborhood by a boy of twelve who claimed he was raped by the pastor and had Fluid poured into his mouth after the abuse.

The vigilante group did not prosecute the pastor after the report because there was no concrete evidence. They resolved to monitor the pastor from that day unknown to him. It was on this day, 17th June 2016 that he was caught in the act of gay sex and all said about him by the young boy he molested was believed. The pastor denied the report of the twelve year old boy. " I only masturbated him and kissed him" he said.

Four child traffickers, including an evangelist were arrested and paraded on Wednesday, June 15, by the police for allegedly kidnapping a four year old child from her school, St Joseph Primary School in Umuhu-Okabia in Orsu local government area of the state.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Andrew Enwerem who paraded the suspects said that the little girl Chinasa Okeke was abducted by Chibueze Okorie,20, in connection with Chinonso Ogbedi, Ijeoma Ogbuehi, an acclaimed Evangelist and Joy Nwosu all of Orsu local government whose plan was to sell the child.

According police Mr Enwerem, the child was rescued following information from the members of the public on the whereabouts of the suspected human traffickers.

"On Friday, we received distress calls that one Chinasa Okeke was stolen from her school, we swung into ation immediately where we rescued the child unhurt and arrested these four miscreants in the process who have all confessed to the crime". the PPRO disclosed

Confirming the incident, the prime suspect, Okorie said that Miss Ogbuehi asked him to abduct the little child, promising to reward him with two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) when she gets a buyer but unfortunately for him, she never got to pay him as at the time of their arrest. Ogbedi, Nwosu's boyfriend, said the child was sold in Ihiala, Anambra State for an unspecified amount

Ogbuehi, a graduate of Trinity College of Ministerial Acts, Aba in Abia state denied promising to give Okorie N200,000 as he alleged, claiming to be legally qualified to adopt less privileged children, even as she failed to show any certificate to back her claim.

The rescued girl has since been reunited with her parents as her father, Mr Matthew Okeke, who expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Police Force for saving his daughter's life.

The suspects would soon be charged to court for child stealing and trafficking, Mr Enwerem said.

How did you meet your spouse?
Juliet: I met my husband at a video shoot by Julius Agwu, in 2003. I was at the shoot to support Agwu as a long-time friend of his. Prior to meeting my husband, I was already friends with his brother, Kcee.
Was your first impression of him favourable?
Juliet: He bore a striking resemblance to Kcee, so I imagined they were twins. I liked him when we met for the first time and we started out as friends. We dated for four years and decided to get married afterwards. He was very mature for his age and had a kind heart. He was very reserved, welcoming and spoke affectionately about his family.

E-Money: When we met, I was a young man who was struggling to make ends meet and she was equally very young. She was in her sophomore year at the university. Because she was my first girlfriend and the first woman I ever loved, I remained faithful to her. I was looking for a God-fearing lady who wasn’t excessively concerned with material possessions and who I could plan a future with. Fortunately, I found those qualities in her. Even though I lived in Ajegunle, with my brothers at that time, she visited me on several occasions. I remember that on one of those occasions, she fell into a gutter in a flooded street.

Why did it take you so long to propose to her?
E-Money: I was only waiting for the right time to ask her to marry me but I knew where the relationship was headed from the outset. I had met other ladies in the past, but they all lacked the qualities I mentioned earlier.

How did you propose to her?
E-Money: I presented her with a car as an engagement gift.

Why did you accept his proposal?
Juliet: My family and I were on the verge of relocating to the United Kingdom, but I was happy that I was already in a relationship with him. I felt it was a good reason to always visit Nigeria given that I had fallen in love with him and his personality. On one occasion, I was cash-strapped and he willingly parted with the last N1,000 he had on him. I was completely taken aback by that act of generosity.

Did you think he would become this wealthy?
Juliet: When we started dating, my friends were surprised that I sidestepped all the rich guys in Lekki, where I was resident for a man who lived in Ajegunle but I was not bothered. I looked forward to getting a good job upon my graduation from the university. He didn’t even have enough money to take us back to Lagos after our traditional marriage.

E-Money: Kcee was the one who lent me N20, 000. I used it to pay our fare to Lagos.
At what point did you begin to experience a turnaround in your finances?
E-Money: We were on our way to Lagos when I received a phone call informing me that I had been awarded a $2m contract and that is how our lives changed forever.

Did you face any challenges owing to the differences in your backgrounds?
Juliet: My parents were already deceased when we met but other members of my family blessed our union.

You do not live in Nigeria…
Juliet: I’m a British citizen and I love the environment over there. I like the quality of education which is good for my children. I tried to settle in Nigeria but I could not fit in. When I am away, my husband and I have unhindered communication. It is so good that we do not really feel any vacuum.
He visits us every two weeks and he’s actively involved in the lives of our children. We are okay this way.

How do you handle disagreements?
E-Money: We don’t invite anybody to act as a go-between; we manage to resolve disagreements ourselves. I won’t say we are saints or angels but we hardly ever quarrel. I may want to be by myself whenever we disagree, but she won’t allow it. We always find a way to resolve our differences amicably.

Juliet: A lot of people don’t know that my husband is a closet comedian; he always finds a way to cheer me up when we disagree. I owe the success of my marriage to Kcee; he understands me so well. Although we hardly invite a third party to intervene when there are issues, but I invite Kcee sometimes.

What would you want to change about your spouse?
E-Money: I don’t want to change anything about her; I love her just the way she is.
How do cope with advances from the opposite sex?

Juliet: We laugh about it and sometimes, I tease him about his female admirers. If anyone gets a bit out of hand, I step in and put them in their place. We operate an open-door policy.
Do you have access to each other’s social media accounts?
E-Money: Yes, we do but we don’t have any reason to go over each other’s account. She controls our social media accounts.

Do you both run a joint account?
Juliet: We do and I was the one who initiated it. My husband doesn’t like to carry cash so, I control and manage our finances. I am very involved; I know who he works for, his clients and other details of his business.

Can you keep secrets from each other?
Juliet: No, I don’t and if it is something that would affect him, I make sure I go about it in a diplomatic manner.
E-Money: I don’t keep secrets from her because I don’t have any reason to do so.
Describe your marriage?
Juliet: Our marriage is built on the fear of God and founded on love. We are friends to ourselves, children and staff. He has a heart of gold even though some people like to take advantage of him. There is nothing I have asked for that he has not provided. Sometimes, he makes things available even before I ask.
E-Money: Juliet is God’s gift to me.

Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Runtown has parted ways with his record label, Eric Manny Records (or at least he's trying to) and they didn't do so on the best of terms. Eric Manny, owned by billionaire businessman, Okwudili Umenyiora, has gotten a court injunction stopping Runtown from performing as an artist, amongst other things, pending when they settle their issues.

Runtown got his lawyers to write to the label, claiming threat to life, extortion, and that he didn't get his payment/royalties from performances, ring-back tunes and etc. He also said he has returned all properties he received from the label when he signed with them in 2014. Popular Nollywood actor, Damola Olatunji, feels popularity is cheap and decided to have a feel of how cheap things come easy by claiming to own Prime stone Hotel in Sango Ota Ogun State.
The actor had some days back announced to his fans that he has acquired a modern hotel in Ogun but little did many know that he only used that to gain publicity which seems not to go down well with him now.

Reports has it that the owner of the said property is threatening the actor with legal actions which might put his career on hold if care is not taken.

What is this we hearing that Lil Kesh is leaving Olamide’s record label YBNL? The rumour is everwhere that the Shoki crooner is about starting his own record label. It was in 2014 that Olamide had signed two artists, Lil Kesh and Viktoh.

Then Lil Kesh came out with Shoki that became an instant sensation on airwaves and fortune smiled on him. He shared stage with Olamide and Davido during his performance at the 2014 Channel O Music Video Awards.

In 2015, Olamide shared a series of tweets stating that after each of his signees are done with their two year contract and that he would be happy for them to start up their own label because his prayer for them is “not to be slaves or dependent”.

He tweeted last year “Saying Kesh or Viktoh or anyone else gona leave me is kinda shitty...I want this niggas to be great...Not to be slaves or dependent. All the niggas i signed...Just two years contract and when they are independent my prayer is for them not to sign any deal with a record label”

Nollywood actor, Chris Bassey, recently gave his Alma-Ata a surprise after 16 years since he graduated from the school.

The actor who had his secondary school education at Oke-Ira Junior Grammar School, Lagos, returned to the school to help out in what he knows they were lacking.

Bassey donated a bore hole machine, toiletries and consumable items to the school as his little quota after having a successful career.

The actor while giving out the items disclosed to Nigeriafilms.com that it was the school that helped groomed him into who he is today and contributing the little item will go a long way in giving hope to the school.

He also added that once a while, it is good for successful people to always remember their schools by contributing little quota to the next generation attending the school to show that they don’t have to wait for the government before things are done.

Oluwaseun, born on 16th March 1987, an indigene of the western Nigerian State of Ekiti is an Intersex, meaning that he has both what is biologically defined and known as male and female organs.

Seun said that he realized that breast began forming around his chest when he was between 12 and 15 years old. He also said that finding an identity has been extremely difficult for him because of the obvious presence of both the male and female organs.

He made this known through Divine Favour Foundation, a foundation located in Lagos and currently handling the case, which provided photographs to SimonAtebaNews during a heartbreaking conversation.

Seun currently identifies as a man, and seeks surgery to have his breast and other genitals altered so that he can reflect physically as a male, and be socially accepted as a man.

Mr. Funmilayo who is the head of the foundation in Lagos, said Oluwaseun needs financial assistance from the public for a surgical operation, even though no provision has been made publicly for this, as it could be that the organization wants donation to be directed to them.

calls has been made to the foundation on telephone to make this provision available and to correct the misleading, confusing and degrading title calling Oluwaseun a hermaphrodite, as this is generally considered to be stigmatizing. The word intersex has come into preferred usage for humans instead.

Nigeria deeply rooted in its different religions, will stigmatize and show complete hatred toward Oluwaseun if he doesn’t have this surgery done, but sadly, he will have to go through some tough times if any help whatsoever will come, as there is absolutely no provision made available for people of his kind in the country.

We all remembered the sad story of how Cynthia Morgan’s Range Rover was stolen a few weeks ago while she was in Abuja. Efforts by the police to recover the vehicle have not yield any result and she is losing patience fast. With no other option of moving around town, she has gone back to special taxis drops.

The singer has not been doing a lot of movement recently because of the theft issue. Not to forget her scandal bothering around her pregnancy rumours, her open letter to PSquare, the controversial artwork for her song ‘baby mama’ and its accompanying backlash. She has tried to stay away from the public but this taxi thing may not be helping matters

“But if it is important for her to go out, she takes taxis. I actually understand her grief because she said goodbye to that club barely six months ago when the Range Rover arrived, but she is back to square one now. It hurts everybody,” a source revealed.

The man pictured above is a Nigerian and was allegedly killed by 3 Congolese and a Tanzanian National whose picture you see after the jump.

He was stabbed and killed in Cape Town, South Africa, on March 27th over a misunderstanding. He’s originally from Idemili LGA in Anambra State.
His killers are currently on the run. I hear police were notified of the incident and they are hunting for his killers.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has finally declared a winner for the highly contentious gubernatorial election in Bayelsa following a supplementary election held on Saturday.
After declaring the results of six other LGAs where supplementary elections held on Saturday, January 9th, and after INEC took a short break waiting for a final collation of election results for Southern Ijaw LGA, the electoral body has concluded the exercise.

What do you love about acting?

Well firstly I started as a Writer, though have got that love for acting, but sincerely there’s more passion in writing than acting. You know sometimes you just have to try other angles and it mostly ends up that the other angles favours sometimes.

If you were asked to pick between acting in Nollywood and Hollywood which will you pick and why?

Laugh... Even you self already know the answer... You start somewhere hoping to get to that greater Height. Anyway let me surprise you a bit. I have featured once in a Hollywood movie. That’s OMBAG... a Thai movie back in 2005. They needed blacks to fill in some scenes and I was there to occupy

Have ever slapped a woman before?

Hmmmmm.. I’m not a woman beater.

At what age did you had your first sex?

Hmm, anyway I was just 17, I guess and it was with someone over 7years older than me, someone I considered my School teacher.

How can a lady turn you on?

Laugh. Abeg no vex I no fit answer that one oh... but it has to do with upper part of my body.

Can you date or marry an actress?

No I can’t.

You plan for four children and your wife bears you four girls as children and no male, what will you do?

We go try try try, until we succeed at last.

Have you ever had a secret affair with an actress?

Hmmmmm, Yes I have.

Can you marry a single mother?

I got no problem with that.

How was your growing up like?

Childhood was great; sometimes I use to wish the world could be rewind.

What are you planning on doing this year?

I am planning a European tour soon, and watch out for my first music single... but not this regular kind of songs you listen to. Also got some comedy skit am working on. There will be a lot to do this year compare to other years.

Still single, when do you plan on getting married?

Marriage is not all about putting a woman inside the house, it takes more than that but am putting an end to single life this year hopefully.

Question: Where have you been throughout this year, because it seems you have been off the scene
Ans: No way, have been working as usual, beside I just returned from South Africa where I went to shot a movie.

Question: oh I see, so what should we be hoping for from you?
Ans: The title of the yet released movie shot in South Africa is Home Alone…

Question: I guess that’s home alone the South African version?

Question: So let’s come down to Nigeria.
Ans: yea, the fact also is that I actually changed location of where I normally shot my movies, most times I prefer using Enugu as my location, but am trying new areas to discover new talent, I don’t want a situation whereby all my movies will be shot in one location. I want to go universal in the industry.

Question: Oh I see, that sounds nice.
Ans: that’s why am also planning a European tour this year to promote some of my movies.

Question: Where precisely
Ans: to the United Kingdom and also Considering the US and Germany.

Ans: Am releasing Sisters of Delilah in few month.

It seems the child issue between Davido’s family and Dele Momodu’s family is not far from being over as it continues to attract various attentions.
While both parties are still at lodger heads over who takes custody of the child whom Davido says tested positive to cannabis which the baby got through her mother Sophia, after a medical checkup in the hospital, some people are still wondering how true the allegations are.

Both Davido and Dele Momodu, have been exchanging banters on their various social media platforms all to convince their fans by giving their own side to the story.

Meanwhile, an aledged petition filled by Sophia Momodu’s lawyers from a particular chambers to the Director General National Agency for the Prohibition of trafficking in Persons, has surfaced online which talks about the various sections of the Childs Right Law 2007 of the Lagos State (as adapted from the Federal Act) as it forbids separation of a child from her parents.


As the various scenes are playing out, one person who is not comfortable with the way the lawyers have handled the issue is daughter of Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, Damilola Marshall, who was called to the Bar some few weeks ago.

Dami airing her opinion, described Momodu’s lawyer as a “big fool” for falling to keep their clients case confidential and allowing it to get to the public.
According to her, “The lawyer is a big fool. Rule 19 of The rules of professional conduct provides that a lawyer must keep his/her clients case in confidence. The rule of confidentiality must always apply.”

Davido has finally so many nasty details about his alleged child abduction scandal between him and his baby mama Sophia Momodu. In a lengthy piece he shared on instagram.
