Audax Solutions, an IT training and consulting company based in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos is pleased to announce our technology-focused CSR activities for December 2013.

Computer Science Education Week (http://csedweek.org/) holds worldwide from December 9th to 15th, 2013. CSEdWeek recommends an Hour of Code to spread awareness of Computer Science Education. It is a one-hour Introduction to Computer Science, designed to demystify "code" and show that anyone can learn the basics to be a maker, a creator, and an innovator. On Saturday the 14th of December 2013, Audax is organizing a Free Hour of Code at our premises, open to registered attendees between the ages of 6 and 106.

The following week, from December 16th to 19th 2013, Audax Code School is organizing a Free (sponsored) Christmas Boot Camp targeted at primary and secondary school students. We believe that teaching children programming skills is essential to develop their problem solving, creative and communication skills helping to foster an interest in technology that can result in a profitable and rewarding future career.

Here is a summary of the 3 events we have lined up for the end of the year.
