Education doesnt have an age limit.

All you need to do is to ensure that the intended course is related to what you have been doing as self-employed.

I presented 2 of my dad's account 5m and 4m respectively and also 3 of his landed documents (mostly houses he built and rented out) backed up with affidavits stating I am his next of kin and sometimes help in managing those properties cos of he's growing old. If he seeks to remain in Canada, a two year course would do.

Applying for one year means, 6months to the completion of the first, you will need to apply for another admission and apply for a visa extension which is another work with ircc.

Therefore to finish school and focus on other things, go for a 2years

Please is it a bad idea to apply for Canadian study visa with an admission for a diploma/certificate program from a college even though I already have a bachelor's degree but over 1 year of experience in the field I got the admission in. My problem is it doesn't show study progression but it's what is in line with my work experience.

Why apply for a course not related to what you do for a living?.

Going for a PGD after completing a bsc is not a red flag.. somebody here got approved yesterday, she had a bsc and a masters but applied for a PGD.

The idea is to stick to rules which is going for a course that shows career progression.

I didn’t present my personal bank statement because I don’t have any savings there although I have a brother who has said he will gift me money. Like 2-3 million. I don’t know if that will fly

You are the applicant coming to Canada and as such, you are expected to demonstrate financial capability to study in Canada.

Your sponsor is far away Nigeria, therefore it's not logical your tuition fees and living expenses is dependent on someone not in the same country as you.

You should have had this 2-3m transfer sent to you, attached a gift deed and then submit.

Do not mention your sponsor has kids. It further makes the visa doubt that that 22kcad will actually be made available to you when the sponsor has family and business of his to cater for .

PGC AND PGD are one and the same. It's always called Ontario College Graduate Certificate. You can apply for this if you have a 1st class, 2.1 l, 2.2 and maybe 3rd class(chances are very very very slim)

A 2yrs course qualifies you for a 3yrs PGWP.


Yes you can but please note, an open spousal work permit takes 12months, so your husband application might be delayed fr a long time but
a decision will be made on the visiting. Approval here is dependent on the person applying for a study permit(primary applicant)

is it advisable for me to start looking for one year masters program or two years masters program considering the fact that getting an open work permit for spouse and VV for kids outside Canada at times takes 8 to 12months or even more before decision will be made.
