By the way, I 'haven't seen' a Canadian school that requires IELTS from Nigerians.

Don't just waste any resources on any appeal because it can't go through here. The reason for the negative outcome is clear; the Bsc qualification. This AQF level is something that have been over emphasized here that I don't know how you could have missed that. That Occupation needs a Bsc , and yours gotten from UNN (4yrs course) doesn't qualify as Bsc in Australia. You should only be looking at for a level 2 occupation, that's one needing an associate degree cos that's what your Bsc from UNN is recognised as.

I have noticed here it takes alot of time for a study permit visa application to be processed in Nigeria.

Why is it so?.

Is it peculiar to Nigerians or Africans only?.

Because, when I did my biometric in Stockholm today. I asked the babe how many months to process my study permit application. She said 4 weeks maximum.

I also noticed they don't ask for medical and police report in EU.

Why are they giving applicants from Nigeria headache.

From my experience, program that are 1 year and 6 months will officially say their program is 2 years. They are often direct entry bachelor degree at poltechnics with two terms of coursework and 6 months internship. So, they are fully qualified for 3 years post graduate work permit. I believe any other program that is 1 year and 6 months should get 2-3 years work permit.

It depends. It can be fall, winter, spring/summer (one year). It can be one year and four months (if summer break is allowed). It can be 1 year and 6 months (if two term courses, summer break, and 6 months internship). Only your admission letter or school can clarify the duration of your program. Ask your international student advisor or check your admission letter. All the best.

Also i graduated with 2.2 in biochemistry but i have worked with a big telecommunication company for 4years and gotten IT training on the job but i am wondering If i could get admission to study PGD in Information Technology Business Analysis with Conestoga or any other college and subsequently get a Visa with a solid SOP and biochemistry academic background.. Quality assurance is a level 1 occupation.
AQF level is also important asides from the job descriptions and organogram especially with level 1 occupations.
Which university did you wife graduate from? And was it a 4 or 5 year course?

Science-based discipline can fit. The most important factor for a positive outcome from Vetasses is the job description and the organogram indicating the position for the applicant.
