WHO TO BLAME!!

1. BLAME THE GOVERNMENT: Who are we kidding here?! There is an agency that is supposed to be in charge of checking these airlines and their planes.. They are supposed to monitor their services and maintainance records.. But you and I know that they barely even know how a plane works let alone maintain one.. What about the conditions under which these planes fly?! NO ELECTRICITY at the airports.. How many time do we hear of planes landing blind (No control tower).. What about service handling?! Do you know that every aircraft has a FACTOR OF SAFETY in terms of weight loading?! WE HAVE ALL SEEN handlers shave off weight just to save passengers the cost of excess luggage payment.. This is only putting passengers at risk.. If a plane is too heavy, it will fall out of the sky... NEMA.. Emergency response!! I laugh at this group!! Sosoliso crashed on the tarmac in Rivers State and by the time NEMA responded, virtually all the passengers had burnt to death.. OPERATIONAL COST.. The government charges these airlines so much in taxes and levies meanwhile most of the short comings of the airlines is due to the fact that the airlines have to handle some of the responsibilities of the government..

2. BLAME THE AIRLINES: They cut so many corners all in the name of making money.. I have been on an Arik flight that had no Air conditioning.. Now I could only imagine that if they were cutting corners on something as basic as air conditioning, then whatelse are they cutting corners on?!

3. BLAME THE PASSENGERS: We pay the bribes for our luggages to cut weighing and get loaded.. We keep mum and dont complain or sue these airlines for their excesses.. Instead we survive a crash and go "THANK GOD".

The skies in Nigeria are not safe.. The plane that crashed yesterday in Accra flew out of Nigeria.. Imagine that!

Passenger plane crashes in Nigeria
The Associated Press Posted: Jun 3, 2012 11:40 AM ET Last Updated: Jun 3, 2012 11:56 AM ET

A state official says a passenger plane has crashed into a two-story building in Nigeria's largest city of Lagos.

Femi Oke-Osanyinpolu, Lagos state emergency state manager, said Sunday that casualty numbers are unknown.

Harold Denuren, head of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed the crash.

He said the Dana Air flight was heading from Lagos to Abuja in Nigeria.

Federal emergency management confirmed the crash in a neighborhood just outside the airport and said that its emergency personnel were on their way to the scene.

Dana Air took to the skies in November 2008 and now operates 18 daily flights to four Nigeria cities: Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Uyo.

You see why your stupid and ignorant, upgrade to a 737 Jumbo Jet with whose money, i'm sure you cant even afford a 2006 range rover and your here blabbing. Jesus lived a very humble life, his father was a carpenter and even though he had the powers to make him as rich as he wanted, he did not. Some Nigerians are too blind to see the truth right in front of them. the GO of the church has about 3 private jets while a vast majority of his congregation cant afford 3-square meals.

Omo_Tier1: Reading comments like these, it is not difficult for any spiritually insightful person to know why most Nigerians suffer the way they do! Hence the prayer for Nigerians: May God not pay us a people, a nation back the way we have ridiculed him!

Why do we, Nigerians come across as a people with a wicked and treachous heart, devoid of any sense of Godly reverence, delightful in evil and always abiding in the works that bring not God glory? Least we say God be not for us as a people, but be it that instead we have turned Gods hand against ourselves by our wicked thoughts and ways!

MAY GOD IN HIS MERCY NEVER MEASURE UNTO US HIS WRATH IN LIKE MANNER AS OUR HEARTS HAVE DRAWN DEEP UNTO WICKEDNESS!

Whats all this grammar ontop this matter now?! angry

If I remember quite correctly according to Andre and co Pat Utomi is delta Igbo

And for the last time I am telling you that until Anambra and Enugu say they cant produce the President before you start talking About Imo, Abia and Ebonyi... Delta State is least on the food chain..

alj harem:

IMO, I think if at all GEJ should honour his agreement with Ohaneze moreover it is about time they have there presidential turn but the man WOULD HAVE TO HAVE MERITS TO HIS NAME.

You see if GEJ say he is contesting again, Ohaneze and co have no choice here, it is called catch 22

They have no choice but to vote for him again because they know if they don't they would lose both ways.

Now the question is would Ohaneze bring out likes of Pat Utomi, Roachas etc which ALL Nigerians would love because of their merits.

Pat Utpmi is not Igbo is he?!

Which State?

Igbo 2019... That one I can bet...

An Igbo man would be the last President of Nigeria if care isnt taken, cos I know the North will implode..

The trick is Jonathan finishes and the South South and half of the west would team up with Ndi Igbo in 2019to vote in an Igbo President and keep the North away from the Presidency..
Politics / Re: Igbos Unite For 2015 Presidency by AnotherOkija: 12:43am On May 27, 2012
2015 is the year of Jonathan..

Fresh Breeze 2015...

Ummuna 2019.. (candidate unknown.. But lord willing it wouldn't be Rochas and his Tanker of a wife..

And moreover, the Igbo president will have to be proper Igbo not Imo or Abia.. Anambra or no place else..
Car Talk / Re: When Do You Use Your Car Hazard Light? by AnotherOkija: 12:35am On May 27, 2012
nas 00: U guys are missing one salient nigerian indication for using hazard lights:

Night driving in a vehicle with only one functional headlamp (to indicate to unsuspecting on-coming vehicles that it's not an okada approaching, esp when on top speed). grin grin

9ja we hail thee. To many geniuses dey my country! cool

Technically, a car with just one headlamp at night qualifies as a hazard so the use of one in such a situation isnt wrong at all but rather the right thing to do..
