Enjoying this trend so far ,
1. pls can anyone share her Dallas hospital / Doc experience , what am getting is close to $6500 and
2. also wats the best airline to use for about weeks to Dallas / easiest POE
3. This thingy about Oyinbo circumcision is still not clear oooo

pls help a sister asap , need to decide on where to birth n and book my ticket asap

Olokings and myself both stayed in Dallas so you can go through our previous posts.you can ask more precise questions afterwards.

Lokings used emirates so his poe was Dallas fort worth.i used delta and Atlanta was my poe(no issues with both poe for the two of us).with delta you are not required to come with a doctor"s report meaning you can travel till quite late in pregnancy though its not adviced.
Oyinbo people usually don't circumcise Niger style so its more advisable to come back home to do it(with my first son,I had it redone in Niger so the innocent boy was actually circumcised twice).Besides its waaaay cheaper to do it in Nigeria.I paid $200 in the us and 5k in nigeria

ETC is cheaper, it's just $270 + $20 shipping fee.
The shipping fee for the passport alone is something else. Some peeps paid more Dan $80 just for shipping alone.

When you say shipping fee for passport, pls what does that mean?is that like a fee you pay separately for at post office?if it is,does one have to declare the package contains a passport?is the fee compulsory?

It appears the occupation ceiling has been reached for External Auditors for this financial year, except there is an error on the skill select page (link below). What this means is that no further invites to apply for 189 visa will be sent for this occupation till maybe July 2016.

Occupation ceiling does not affect 190 visa. I will advise you update your EOI to include 190. You can use one EOI to show interest for 189 and 190. When updating your EOI for 190, you will see the option to select the state you want sponsorship from. You will also see the option of "any state" for sponsorship. I read somewhere that states give preference to those that specifically chose them ahead of those that selected "any state" in their EOI.

For NSW, that is all you need to do. NSW will send you an invite to apply for sponsorship via email. Once the application is approved, you will automatically get an invite to apply for 190 visa. Check second link below for the requirements of the various states.

Thanks pingku.i did some reading yesterday(including your past posts) and realized same.will definitely update the EOI to include 190 application as well and select NSW.Theres a part that asks if applicant wouldn't mind living outside the capital city,is that a yes or no answer?
Then also, can I select 2states at the same time(SA and NSW)?I say so becos nsw hasn't sent out invites for a while now(expat forum gist).good thing though is they still have 4000 slots to fill before their next financial year.
What do you think.I have looked up SA requirements and we can easily meet it.Theres no immediate rush though

If he has 60 points, why does he need state sponsorship?

Except his chosen occupation is not on the SOL list, your 60 points is enough for subclass 189. Don't put yourself in unnecessary process.

Thanks bellong.his EOI has been updated back to 189.want to ask a question and I hope this isn't silly.when an invite to apply is sent,is it to his email address or he gets it in his skill select correspondence?

Hello house,
Glory to God,after 3 attempts with 2different assessing bodies under 2different occupations and 3 ielts, hubby has finally gotten a positive assessment from Icaa as an external auditor!
As it stands now,his points are 60 so we will have to go the 190 way and request for state sponsorship.
Pls has anyone applied to NSW,Tasmania or South Australia for sponsorship?what's the procedure like? responses will be greatly appreciated.

No..you don't understand. THIS WAS A PLOY BY IPOB/RADIO BIAFRA AND GMB/NIGERIA GOV. FELL FOR IT...just like they fell for his diatribes that made Radio Biafra popular. Radio Biafra wasn't known widely prior to May of this yr. Nigeria government made it popular. Same strategy...he showed up at the airport and knew he would be arrested. Watch and see what will happen from international communities and NGOs following protests by IPOB. IPOB needed a catalyst to rally the world on their side...there it issmiley They couldn't be happier

Don't be surprised if Obama and Cameron issue press conference saying...President Buhari must respect the right to self determination of the Indigenous People of Biafra. Mark my words...like it happened to Gaddafi and Mubarak. The prediction Nigeria will cease to exist by 2015 is still on course.

And I believe Egypt and Libya are the better for it today??

Na me this thing pain pass....
If only she had read about my sister's ordeal at that horrible Chicago. Na so the woman talk say she has to see dokita before she go anywhere o. She said she didn't know where the courage came from.
She told them I'm ready to go back but I need a doctor to tell me I'm fit to fly. They reminded her of the one she brought from Nigeria lol she said it was for a one way trip not a return so she will need another one. When their so called doctor came he said she couldn't fly anywhere o.
Her visa was cancelled but she gave birth to the baby in the US(that baby's head was strong).
This is a always good way to go about it.Insist you won't fly until a doctor certifies you fit to do so.I work with an airline and believe me none of them wants to deal with any medical emergencies inflight across the Atlantic.
And the more advanced the pregnancy, the less likely a U.S. dr will certify.
Same happened to a friend who was given just 2wks at point of entry.when applying for her extension, she said she was willing to go back but no doctor was willing to certify her fit to fly!She got the extension.

file for an extension at least then if u dont get it den u can leave and come back but give it a try first, lets be positive.
Filing at 22wks?nah.i think she should just come back and go again.I filed during my first pregnancy at 34wks and it was a risk. Not getting it means she has to leave the US immediately upon receipt of the refusal letter.
If she doesn't that's automatic 5year ban.

My journey thus far.
I flew with Delta from Los to Atlanta direct a few days ago.I had my fit to fly but wasn't even asked for it.I requested for a wheelchair in Atlanta and I got one as soon as I disemnarked. This I must say was a life saver cos I was with my son and the journey btw terminals in Atlanta no be beans.
So I was wheeled to this black cbp guy who looked like he was just resuming and didn't appear too friendly.he asked what I came for and how long I was going to be around.Told him childbirth and 3months.after typing for a long time oooo,he asked that I be moved to secondary inspection.
At secondary inspection I was quite happy it was a middle aged white guy that attended to me.He was sooo polite!Kept saying Pls,thank you etc.Even thanked me for my patience when he was done with me!!!!
His questions were quite brief and no irritation whatsoever.
He asked for the receipts of my first sons delivery and I gave them to him.
Asked for the money on me,told him it was 8k,he counted and returned it.I also showed him the 3k receipt I had paid to the hospital for this delivery and that was it.he just told me to make sure I completed payment and always have my receipts on me.
I then went to pick my bags and was directed to agriculture.my bags were searched and absolutely nothing was taken out(my noodles, fish, knor chicken were all seen).
The lady just opened, sighted the items and let us go.
All in all,I'm grateful to God it was a stress free entry

Family / Re: My Labour Experience. by aolatunde00: 5:29pm On Sep 26, 2015
My labour experience wasn't funny at all at all.the pain no be here.
I got to the hospital 8hours after contractions started and was told I was only 2cm dilated. At this time I was in so much pain and couldn't believe I was still going to 10cm.
6hours later I was at 3cm.by now I had lost all inhibitions.was shivering and sweating at the same time.my whole body was shaking seriously.they say I should take epidural,I say no(was thinking of the cost).2hours later I was still at 3cm na so I begin shout for the epidural o.I was wailing like a little baby.the contractions and pain were so bad I felt I was going to die.the epidural guy didn't come for like another hour!I was sobbing badly.
He gave me the first shot exactly 16hrs after my labour started(was at just 4cm).For where, the pain no go.
Called him back, took a second shot.Na lie o,the pain didn't subside!I was still crying(wailing!!!).I requested for a 3rd shot and was told I would be given but if the pain didn't stop,it would be CS next.
I no even mind o.We will talk about bills later was my thought.it was after the third shot I felt relief and I had my baby some two hours later.when I called hubby in Lagos to tell him I had put to bed, guess what?i woke him from sleep!!!i was so vexed.he said he was sleeping cos he was sure I was in capable hands.mtcheew.
Might I add that sometime before I took my first shot of epidural,my baby"s heart rate couldn't be felt so them say make I begin do some funny exercises on the bed to get his heart beating again. In that severe pain come and see me crouching, lifting leg, turning stomach with like 8medical personnel present. Was almost naked but didn't even care.
Na correct unforgettable experience.

Now I'm laughing... Chai see me crying like a baby.... She's light in complexion... U can tell she likes makeup. On the move observing the counter and the luggage weight. She has to approve certain weights on bags. She had this radio phone hanging on her waist ... With some sort of bossy look. She is about 5ft6... She's not friendly and no wedding band on her hand. She's not ugly, but she's not pretty either.

I don't see why people have to be rude to others because you know something they don't.Share if you want to and ignore if you don't want to share.Theres absolutely no reason for sarcastic comments laced with insults.
Even though I had my first baby in MD,it still hasn't stopped me from asking Olokings several questions(some bordering on ridiculous) and he's answered every single one of them.
Someone asks how to get a ticket and instead of you to mention one or two booking websites, someone else actually goes into an unnecessarily long lengthy response on why the question is ridiculous.
Please let's learn to be courteous and civil to one another. Please visit the 2 visa consular threads and see how these guys politely answer all our questions.why we can't do same here?

Thank you doctor.

I read inserting garlic in the vagina might help as well as using probiotics.
I tried the garlic thingy for the first time last night but I'm yet to begin using the forever living active probiotic I just got.
Are they probiotics and garlic in pregnancy?
Can they help?

Thanks
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by aolatunde00: 12:47pm On Sep 09, 2015
I
omicron:
Hi,

Candidiasis is not really an "Infection" in the sense that many people understand it. Understand it as a condition that arises when one is exposed to some risk factors like obesity, antibiotic use/abuse, low immunity and pregnancy.

When any of these risk factors continue to be present, candidiasis is difficult to eliminate, and the person could be said to have recurrent candidiasis. I think that is the problem here, pregnancy being a major risk factor in you.

Ensure, however, that Bacterial Vaginosis, is ruled out as it could present with similar clinical features to candidiasis. BV, unlike candidiasis, may adversely affect pregnancy (premature labour).

Candidiasis will respond to Topical (recommended) or oral (not advised) antifungals, but it might return in the face of a persistent risk factor.

All the best.

Thanks dr.i read somewhere that using garlic as an insert might work so I tried it for the first time last night.I also bought forever active probiotic tablets though I'm yet to start using them.
Are they safe for me to use in pregnancy?
Do you think they will be of any help?
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by aolatunde00: 6:08pm On Sep 08, 2015
Evening house,
Came across this thread for the first time today and I would like your input.
Sometime in January I started having discharges,I went to a pharmacy and was given some drugs but they didn't seem to work.I went to see a doctor, did a swab and tested positive for a yeast infection.i was given diflucan and augmentin.the discharge and itch stopped but returned two wks later.I did another swab and I still tested positive for a yeast infection and staph.Only that this time I was also pregnant so the doctor suggested I take no drugs at all.
So from that time till I was 25wks,I didn't take any drugs for the discharge or itching. At 25wks,I was given klovinal pessaries for 5day(since the itch and discharge had become really much and I suspected i had Bv as well)
The discharge stopped only to return after about a wk(I suspect this was due to a re infection by my hubby cos we made love).
I went back to the hospital and had a swab done.i was then given ampicillin tablets and klovinal pessaries again for 5days since I again tested positive to candidiasis and staph.its been 3days I ended this treatment but I still feel funny!I read online that candidiasis during pregnancy can be pretty difficult to treat Moreso as mine went untreated for 6straight months!
Pls what do I do?(now 30wks preg)
