Business / Re: Central Bank Of Nigeria Bans Foreign Currency As Collateral For Naira Loans by Apus: 4:44am On Apr 11
Way to go.

It is clear that allowing certain abnormalities in the system contributed to the devaluation of the naira and strong policies can help check this.

You don't see people trade dollars in the streets in other countries so much so they become the determinant of the value of dollars. Same way banks sell dollars to their cronies unchecked while denying other.
Politics / Re: Border Reopening Will Cripple Nigeria’s Economy, Rep Warns by Apus: 4:29am On Apr 11
Nigeria defies economic principles.

Buhari closed Nigeria's border for almost eight years leading to shortage in consumable goods and increase in prices of these goods, part of which we're still suffering till today. Imported goods even became cheaper in most cases.

Truth is, we're yet to attain self-sufficiency, until we deal with power and energy problems as well as security.

Nonsense. What kind of miseducation is this?

Showing up in time for any occasion, whether it's family or business meetings connotes that you respect the other parties involved. It also portrays you as being professional, dependable and in charge.

It always makes sense until you are at the receiving end.

Is the multiple grid collapse within said period not enough testament to the fact? Let's not celebrate mediocrity.

This is unfair and unjust.

Reason why people move to saner climes where they get value for every penny spent.

The hardship is too much in the land. But taking your own life is not the solution, now the children will have to start borrowing or selling their properties for burial. So sad.

May his soul rest in peace

What would have been the solution for an eighty year old man who is poor and maybe sick, in a country that does not give a f**ck about the elderly?
I'm sure his children can't even feed themselves talk less of catering for their elderly father.

For goodness sake, where is our humanity & empathy? This girl is mourning not one but three family members. She is not in the right frame psychologically.
Same people criticizing her will do worse if they were in her shoes right now.
Bunch of hypocrites.

Most Nigerian Netizens often behave like animals.
