Politics / Re: Fashiola Blasts Jonathan Over Speech At Lagos PDP Rally by arabambi: 9:38pm On Jan 09, 2015
Sunday8650:

I appreciate your matured response. Now i want you to know is a thing of facts that there are corrupt politicians in PDP camp and APC camp as well. But right now we are searching for a candidate who will hold the interest of the masses above the party. that is why our focus was on Jonathan in 2011. Because he clamour to stand for us and fight for our interest.

Do you think when Nigerians were voting for Jonathan in 2011 they did not know that there are much corrupt officers in PDP. But they voted for Jonathan not PDP officers. But He didnt fight the corruption to our expectation. He openly acknowledge he knew those behind the horrific acts of Boko haram in the government but he didnt fight them or expose them.

He gave amnesty to nigeria politicians that stole money in government and gave Nigeria a bad name in the international community
He tried to defend stealing as not corruption.

$20billion dollar disappeared from Government reserve and he tells you they use it as subsidy and help control the naira and you believed. They same money was what CBN governor shouted out and he was fired and painted as a thief.

He has betrayed the trust of those that voted for him. Now we are shouting for change and we are looking at the records of BUHARI and Osibanjo as the possible replacement for Jonathan.

So we are not voting party but Candidates who we believe can rise up above party interest and put Nigeria first. Just as how we voted for jonathan and not PDP now we are backing Buhari and not APC.

If he disappoint and fails to meet our expectation we will vote him out. This is the change we are shouting for. The ability for us to show to politician they should perform or get out. This is not like before that a politician will think because he is in the ruling party he has a straight ticket to 2terms of corruption and no problem. Now the pot is very hot and they can see that for the first time. we are proving to them we can change them if they don't perform.

this is d best and open contribution. the best way for Nigeria to go and the best way to keep the politician on their seat to perform or get booted out by vote. the best way again to development. Vote for change Nigeria

NnamdiN: I understand your point but I'm not talking about myself here. Remember I said I don't know why they share those sentiments but hey they still reserve the voting rights. Let them deal with whatever they vote for. They had a chance to vote TA orji out but they didn't.
You are correct. Some that you may think should know better will still vote blindly and surprisingly he or any of his family member might not benefit directly from the loot of the administration. But for the fact that he has put sentiment forward he will reserve his vote for a non performer. The lesson and enlightment of prospective voters towards any election starts here. Let us educate the literate illiterates on power of their votes. People should not vote for N500, ethnicity, religion and so on. The ANGEL WE DONT KNOW MIGTH BE BETTER THAN THE DEVIL WE KNOW. Will a lady who is always battered by her would be husband suddenly have a chance at someone who might treat her like a queen not want to give him a chance? Would she rather go back to the former and later say it's her destiny. Nigerians think
Politics / Re: The Worst Govenors Of 2013 by arabambi: 3:16pm On Dec 27, 2013
NnamdiN: in Abia state for instance, most non-abians would vote Thief T.A Orji over and over again if the alternative is a person from Ngwa Land(most people I know share this sentiment).Even my uncle be like"Bros let's manage TA orji abeg" prior to the last election(I think his major opponent then was an Ngwa man) I don't know why but I guess the devil you know is better than the angel you dont know. Nigerians are suffering and smiling sha.

There you go. Nigeria and sentiments, because someone come from a particular region, religion, zone, tribe or social affiliation irrespective of his intention to better the state or nation we will play blind and start singing the DEVIL YOU KNOW IS BETTER THAN THE ANGEL YOU DONT KNOW. Lets sincerely ask ourselves do we really hope or wish for a better government? We should stop shouting and coursing people we put in power now, cause they got there through our non willingness to change in our sentimental reasoning. Now 2015 is coming we are not seeing ourselves as a Nigerian. Rather as a south south, or north west or south easth and so on. Who ever we are voting lets be responsible for it and if the person fail, let in one voice vote him out. No sentiment else Nigeria will remain the same for years to come.

If people commenting here and nominating there governors as one of the worst in terms of performance. They and people in in the state will still vote them if they have chance to be voted for. Despite having other credible candidate presented by other party that may be ready to work for the better goal of the citizens. I am surprised some people mention anambra state Governor as non performer. Election was just held in the state, the man presented his candidate the people there voted him despite other options available. Why complaining. Nigerians we are the architect of our own problems.

Family / Re: After Education, House, Car And Children. What Else Do I Need In Life? by arabambi: 1:45pm On Oct 22, 2013
I think what he is asking is simple. He is only giving glory to God for what He has done in his life. There are many people of his mate that dropped out and could not achieve at least first degree in EDUCATION due to so many factors. There are some with first degree that doesn't have job, while some have but can't buy them CAR and not to talk of having a HOUSE over there head. Again so many of a marriage either new or old but are yet to be blessed with CHILDREN. So what he mean is that having known the existence and power of God that without Him nothing is achievable and without being too greedy in this world. What again can one look for?

Nigerians and their many mouth. They are tired of Jonathan and PDP, tired of corruption, tired of insecurity, bad roads, distribution of bills without electricity, failed government promises. Inshort they want a change, they want Nigeria to be like most developed countries of the World. All in their dreams. They are presented with opportunity to have a change to see at least if it can be better. They are shouting no no, they are old, they are not widely spread, they can't last.Nigerians if we are comfortable with PDP we should stop complaining.if we are not let give a chance then we can compare.

what about d fligth tickets, hotel bills and feeding? How does he pay that? From the 25k? If outside d 25k then he is telling us his appearance fee is 25k not travelling or night allowance. Cos a staff in his office when paid night allowance to make a trip on official assignment consider tranportation, accommodation, feeding and local runnings. Yet will think of saving something. So?

What kind of message is he passing as a would be leader. This kind of person can not get my vote cos his outlook says it all. If he is a nigerian and some nigerian choose to vote for him then we may never be able to differenciate btw black and white. Hence, depened in corruption, crisis and economic problems. For how long will we continue to deceive ourselves? The issue of Nigerians seeing each other as one is mission impossible. We are not one and we can never be. I wonder what makes you think that an IGBO man will be a governor in lagos state or an hausa man being a governor in IMO state. All effort to unite Nigeria is an effort to prove and show that we are not one. Gowon said similar things in the past but it didn't achieve any meaningful result. Jonathan is saying the same today and people are dying on daily basis. Is only a fool that does the same thing every time and expect a different result. Nigeria is divided between religious and ethnic lines.
The earlier we rise against indicipline in unison and praise dedication, layalty and commitment of the few to the growth of the country the better for us. Must an Hausa man be a Govnor in Rivers or and Igbo man be a Senator representing Osun west senetorial district before we speak as a Nigerian? Greater Nigeria lies with u and i.

Nna iwu ezigbo otele! World class asss.so when there is community clash in River state or Akwa ibom, or Abia state, that means that their religion is responsible for it? Ur post reeks of unintelligence!
This is d kind of reasoning and attitude Nigerian should emulate in 2013. Seing what is bad as bad and not looking for escuse from Religious and ethnic point. Nigerian truely needs to change their attitude just like GEJ said. Am not his fans but he was on point at that. Only then Corruption, bad Governance and hostility towards one another will be old fashioned or a thing of the past. God bless Nigeria. Happy New Year to Everyone

Politics / Re: Who Do You Trust More: ACN Or PDP by arabambi: 10:14am On Dec 14, 2012
it is just a simple question with options available for us to choose. any option u choose u get a mark otherwise u loose. i wonder why some people are choosing none. there is no none in d options, thats how people fail simple test and come out to bost they will get 100%. PDP OR ACN Simple. As for me ACN will be much better at d center then there will be chance for better performance by other parties.
