Do they remove thermostats in the UAE? Or their own cars don't have thermostats? Temperatures in the middle east gets up to 48deg and no place in Nigeria gets that hot. Some parts of the United States are even hotter than Nigeria in summer times.
Electric irons have thermostats and have you thought about removing it.
Cars go through several tests before they leave the factories and Nigerian mechanics are not smarter....
If you like subject your car to such surgery and may God help you.
I have driven several cars and none of them have their thermostats removed and they have served faithfully.

Thanks for your indirect advice, you are a typical Nigerian, I like the way you relate like we are hommies.

I am sure u know the the truth cos this topic has been over flogged several times .
Removing your thermostat is similar a doctor removing a vital organ from a healthy patient that is not sick .na just to watch him die a slow death.

colossus2:
You bought a new phone, a phone repairer says "wow this your phone is cool, bring it lets remove the charging port". cool

mayor2013:

Remove your thermostat and see the death of your engine

Thanks bosses for your indirect advice, well, their points of removing it is that the weather temperature abroad is far far cooler than Naija own, and the thermostat delay the fan from starting up on time, this I noticed, the fan of my car may not start rolling for long period, and they (mechanic) said it may cause overheating over period of time.

Chai! No one is congratulating me for starting the New Year with a New Ride ... smiley
Car Talk / Remove Thermostat From New Car by ARABICAN(m): 10:27am On Jan 13, 2016
Base on several advice on which car to go for with the level of my budget, my car landed in Nigeria in December, on the 1st of January this year was my first day to cruise it around Abuja city ( thanks to God and to the advicers on NL)

Now, the people am trying to avoid by visiting their shop often (mechanic) has started with bring your car to our shop, any mechanic that see my car say is very clean and the engine is just like new BUT HAVE YOU REMOVE THE THERMOSTATS! The first person, the second person and now the third person, I am so worried and skeptical in listening to advice of them touching the car, not even on the engine.

My office mechanic advice I should leave it since am not using it for commercial.

Please, the expert and the experienced pals online, what did you do to your own or what will you advice.

Thanks.

31 - 12 = 19

27 - 12 = 15

19 + 15 = 34

Today is my birthday, I have achieved a lot of things this year ranging from properties to professional development but one major thing make me happy the most, yes am a Muslim but I do not think I have ever had my salat completely from January to September consecutively without missing any, this is the reason I feel so happy within me that from January 1st of this year till today September 16th my 5 times daily salat is complete.

Alihamdullilahi....

Asalam alaikum
to start with there's nothing to be confused with, if you are not pleased with the way the yoruba imam composed the sermon its not a big deal.
you can also visit the other language speaking mosque and seat quietly with adkar (praising of Allah) or reading of the kuran. may almighty Allah Forgive our short comes and show us mercy.
Asalam alaikum!

Jazakumullah, I appreciate your contribution but i think the Jumah service is divided into 2, the sermon and the two rakat salat, most times i just feel like having my complete 4 rakat salat for Suhr because i feel like i have not complete my salat anytime i attend the Jumah service
Islam for Muslims / Re: Another Jumah Another Confussion by ARABICAN(m): 9:16am On Sep 04, 2015
Many just view and no comments, is there nobody that is in my shoe? Do you all like the way some Imam preaches and what is the essence of going to Jumah when you will not understand the sermon that is been done in higher languages.
Islam for Muslims / Another Jumah Another Confussion by ARABICAN(m): 12:27pm On Aug 28, 2015
Salam,

Ever since i have been living in Abuja, Jumah service has turned to what i don't longer look up to again and confusion of where to worship and have my salat is always a problem to me.
These are the issue, there are two different mosque where i can have the every week Jumah service, the first Mosque is a Yoruba mosque but the Imam preaching always pissed me off with his way of preaching, he is fun of using dirty words, curses and insulting words, there was a day he said any person that is 28 or 30 years and still living with parent can never be successful in life again, all he wanted to say was that, that anybody within the range of those age are expected to have started to be taking care of their parents, I just hate the way he use all those big Yoruba curse like:

o ti se ori bu
aye re ti baje
e.t.c

The second place is Hausa Mosque and all the preaching is in their Language, we were told that sermon take the two rakat of Jumah service and the two salat after complete the Salat Suhr, in my own case I cant even understand the sermon.

some hours to Jumah and i am confused on where to go

“All actions are judged by motives, and each person will be rewarded according to their intention. Thus, he whose migration was to God and His Messenger, his migration is to God and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim)
