Hello all,
Update. Finally got m
Timeline;
Biometrics: July 24 ( Priority Tier 2)
Not straightforward email; August 15
Told my agent of this and i was told it was escalated though i didnt get an email to that effect.
A week after i sent an enquiry to Ukvi and i was sent a mail to fill out the reason for escalation. This i did and sent back but i did not get any response.
My agent sent me a mail on Friday 25th August that d application has been sent to the 'express escalation team' whatever that means.
Got a mail from TLS on Monday 28th that decision has been made and another one later in the day for passport pick up.
Passport picked up today. Visa granted grin from 26th of August(which is a saturday).
Hope this encourages someone. Thanks to all who supported me.

Congrats, toscott

I had a similar timeline...

Did my biometrics on July 26 in Victoria Island (Tier 5, regular, non-priority application)

Got email that application was being prepared for ECO consideration on Aug 8

Got not straightforward email on August 14

Got decided on UKVI on August 26 (surprisingly a Saturday too!)

Got both (decision and passport pickup) emails from TLS yesterday (Tuesday, 29th Aug)

I picked up my passport today 30th August, with 2-years visa in-situ

I didn't send any enquiry/escalation to UKVI throughout the period

This nairaland thread has been very helpful. (I read up all the 300+ pages before submitting my application)

Sincere appreciation to all the gurus who are here just to help others. May God reward your selflessness, amen.

I pray everyone still awaiting a decision on this thread gets a positive one soonest, amen.

Cheers!

HOW I DO PAY MY VISA FEE ONLINE?
i bank with eco bank and have online internet banking facility
i intend paying tomorrow being monday 28th of august 2017

thank you, may God bless ur efforts

A GTB (& probably UBA) naira MasterCard/regular ATM card will work. Not sure of Ecobank cards so you may need to ask your bank or get a trusted friend that uses GTB to assist. GTB charges N375 to $1

Thanks so much @justwise.
Please I will also like to know the visa center that is more preferable, Ikeja or Victoria Island?
Also can you interpret the statement below
The UK Visa Application Centre, Lagos User Pays VAC switch

With effect from the 3rd April, 2017, the UK Visa Application Centre in Ikeja will no longer be a User Pay VAC. However, applicants who wish to submit their applications at the Victoria Island Centre will now be subject to the User Pay fee.
THANKS

Use of the TLS centre in VI attracts an extra £55 charge, bundled into the visa application fee. The only advantage of the VI centre is less queue when you go for biometrics. The centre used doesn't affect outcome, since everything is sent to Sheffield.
I hope this is helpful...

Hi bro, please i need to know is the UK visa process one on one interview like the US embassy?
The last time i applied was in 2011 and it was drop and pick up then.

I'm asking because I've not seen any posts here about interviews.

It's only tier 4 visa applicants that still routinely have (Skype) interview during the submission process.
Tier 5 applicants used to have interview before now but that has been cancelled.
Any tier applicant may however be called back for interview weeks/days after TLS submission, but this is only on rare occasions.
I hope this info is helpful...

Dear All,

Please how best can I pay for the UK fee of $120? I have tried paying it through my Naira Master card but, it was unsuccessful.

I need your advice and assistance.

Thanks

Try GTB or UBA Naira Mastercard

GTB uses N375 to $1 when their regular ATM/MasterCard is used for online transactions

Hello everyone. I have booked an appointment for July 12, 2017 to submit a UK visa application for an elderly woman. The appointment is for Ikeja. I have made the payment for the visa fee. I am trying to pay £184 for priority processing but I cant see where to make the payment online.

Please anyone who has paid the £184 for priority processing recently please let me know how and where you made the payment.

Thank you.

Priority processing service is available in VI and Abuja. I think it is no longer available in Ikeja.

Try VI centre

Good morning my people
I heard UK center in Victoria island now charge extra fees, how much exactly is it?
And I plan to visit the UK for Xmas and New Year, when is the best time to apply, as I've seen a requirement that says not more than three months from the day you're planning to travel, thank for your helpful responses.
PLS RESPOND!

- The TLS website states the VI Centre costs extra £55 more than the Ikeja centre

- A question for the gurus in the house: Does the VI Centre confer any advantages over the Ikeja TLS Centre to justify this additional fee paid at VI? I'm making a visa application Next Week and trying to decide where to submit it between Ikeja and VI
Thank you

Hi wezo01. I can see that the record of the 2003 corolla whose VIN u posted is very okay. The car must be very clean. Do you want to sell the car, or it's for personal use? I have interest in it
