Installing refill wall valves in unique places
I really like this as opposed to opening the trunk always to refill. My own problem is still tank location 🙃
Car Talk / Re: Demystifying CNG in Automobiles by arcbaba: 2:12pm On Jan 25
Hi gazzzuz thanks for all you do on this forum, I have been thinking of how to get my sienna on CNG train because of the space I don't want to loose, I did some research and found this tank that can be placed in the spare tire space! This will work perfectly for me! But I doubt if it will be available in Nigeria. I am attaching the images for more clarity

Car Talk / Re: Are CNG Car Conversion Really Worth It? by arcbaba: 7:41am On Jan 01
I am so interested in CNG but as a site man I am scared of losing precious boot space which I use for tools and work pieces. I own two cars A Toyota corolla 2005 the only space I will be willing to give up is the spare tire space if there is a tank that can fit exactly like the spare tire. The other is a totyota sienna 2006 I can't bear the though of not been able to collapse my rear seat it defeats the purpose of buying the car. So I need advice!

Politics / Re: E-Ticketing Will Increase Railway Revenue - Transport Minister, Saidu Alkali by arcbaba: 9:32am On Oct 31, 2023
You dont seem to understand the benefit of effective transportation to economic growth, business and development. It transcends cashback, has multiplier effect on growth. I currently run a project in Kaduna with my business based in abuja. I am able to plan my movement and cummute with ease, both my abuja and kaduna business are running smothly, imagine knowing you cannot miss an appointment beacuse the train is always on time no delays or hitches. This is what investors look at to make business investment decisions
mrvitalis:
You spend over $3 billion dollars for rail ways and you are expecting $170 million dollars in
10 years ..... Am sure it cost more than $50 million to run these trains yearly

My issue is we Borrowed money to build this rubbish trains that has little or no economic benefits... How can you borrow money to build something that would make u spend more money

Socialism is anti development

If $3 billion dollars were given to pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria since 2015 as a loan at 5%

1) we would have that money back again plus 5% interest
2) we would be a net exporter of drugs earning dollars
3) companies revenues would grow increasing government revenue
4) thousand would be employed increasing payee tax
5) GDP would have grown by at least 8 billion dollars

If we give that to garment factory
If we used that money to revive aluminum company in ikot ekpene
If we used that money to help glass importers set u floating glass factory
If we used that money to help Leather works industry
If we used that money to make improved agriculture seedlings available

Each of this would yeild more

Just like the useless awolowo cocoa house that can never break even in this life or the next... Nigerian APC leaders like feel good projects...
To them economic viability is not important
Just build it let people praise us

Family / Re: Is It A Crime To Admit That Your Spouse Is Older Than You? (my Story) by arcbaba: 7:22pm On Aug 30, 2022
Ok let me share my own story. I met my wife in the university, I later knew she was a year older so I hid my own age from her, lolz because I really loved her. when we got really serious I had to come clean she was mad at first that I made her waste her time and invest so much in the relationship but I took my time to prove that age was just a number.
So we decided to keep the age issue to ourselves the only person that spoke about it was our priest during marriage counselling, but we assure him we had gone past it years ago.
We never brought it up with our families today we are married for 8 years blessed with 3 beautiful kids. The age issue has never come up in our home, infact she is looking younger daily u will swear I am way older.
These days when we get to fill forms people look at us and ask we just tell them that's what love can do they just look surprised. We no longer hide it but our families still do not know.
This may not work for everyone but I am happy that married her! Its not been a perfect marriage but God has blessed us together.

Not very sure about a 2002 vehicle and synthetic engine oil. The transmission requires Toyota TIV also.

Best of luck, don't kill it before you start using it .
Can I get the Toyota type IV from you in Benin?

Good evening oga gazzuz,
My uncle just helped me take delivery of a toks Lexus RX 300 2002 for my dad, so he told me that he changed the fluids because they where black both transmission and engine, when I asked what he replaced them with, he said oando something for the transmission and Mobil 1 for engine, I was shocked. Tried to tell him that is not the recommended fluid the man was busy telling me how he has been using them for his Camry big daddy for over 3years. I intend to travel next weekend hope it won't be too late cos I intend to flush out everything as soon as I get there. The car is not yet in use because we are expecting the number plates.
If this is possible I will like to get the fluids from your contact in Benin since the car is in Benin.
I look forward to your response sir!

Good evening boss,
Please I intend to buy my dad a 2003 Toyota rav 4, is there anything I need to be worried about in terms of maintenance cost, common problems?. Although I intend to buy a foreign used but I see too many Nigeria used put up for sale. Kindly advise sir, his requirement is a very portable car with good ground clearance and easy maintenance for an old man
Car Talk / Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by arcbaba: 9:59pm On Jul 11, 2021
Sorry for jumping on this thread sir!, I have always had this P0031 on my Toyota Corolla 2005 and I tot the code was related to lack of catalyst in the car.
That's y I have never bothered to replace that sensor.
So if I replace the bank 1 sensor that particular codes will disappear
GAZZUZZ:

Alright let's get to it .

First code P0031 TOYOTA Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low Bank 1 Sensor 1

Your O2 sensor bank1 sensor 1 us bad. You will need to replace the one at the top. It will contribute to higher than expected fuel economy .

Inability to start on first crank , check fuel pump assy for inability to hold fuel pressure .

Watch video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya_GngCX1Ds

Rpm values seem almost normal , 900 is rather high, a history of manual adjustments to throttle body or throttle pedal could cause abnormal readings like this , also air intake leaks could cause same.

Finally the big one.

P0500, I was really hoping it was an abs related code but it is not.

What you have is a slipping transmission. Start be draining your transmission oil and outing fresh oil (Toyota TIV) and hope for the best.

if it's not leaking, it's being burnt.

Check waterpump area.

Good evening sir, I replaced the water pump to see if it will solve the problem. Problem still persists, although the temperature guage mostly remains in the middle I notice the water in the reservoir boiling after a long drive. Now I am left with the last resort of removing the thermostat and connecting the fan direct.
Any other suggestions sir?

Good day oga GAZZUZZ
Please I have an issue with my 2005 corolla, the radiator water/coolant keeps going low sometimes, I have to top it almost every other day so it does not run dry. My mechanic has checked for every possible leaks non found, I have changed the radiator cover twice, this last time. He had to add extra rubber padding to the cover still no result.
I observed that sometimes water pours out of the reservoir vent on top of the reservoir cover continuously for a while sometimes but not always. I have noticed the temperature go above the half mark on two occasions but later stabilizes.
I am really confused. The radiator is new less than a year old, I initially filled with coolant on first purchase. Someone suggested I should remove the thermostat but I don't think that's the problem, the car has been with the thermostat since 2016 when it was imported.
Please I need help.
Thanks
