Hope is not that FRSC yeye database o! Cos 60% of vehicles registered do not show or update on dat page. Mine is abuja was issued to me at the accredited MVRC in mabuchi abuja! Yet it's not showing on the database but I have an SMS on my phone that was sent from their FCT vehicle registration portal saying my car is duly registered.
So I am waiting for the day anybody will harass me about it not showing on the data base. They will tell me if any of my payment receipts are fake or cloned! Cos I took my time to research accredited centers on FRSC website and went there on my own!

Hw was it confirmed that the number plate was fake pls enlighten us.
Abuja number plate and paper work sud cost u abt 40k. I did same for my camry a while ago.

I had a similar problem problem with my camry 1999, with a little research I got the problem solves. The first thing I did was to change the speedometer clock/cluster completely, u can get 1 to buy from between 6k - 8k, do a complete change. if after dat u still notice the speedometer clock (not odometer) itself malfunctioning at high speed then u need to change the speed sensor ( its located on the gear box) it cost between 3k - 6k depending on your source. after this your car will be fine!. for some people after changing the speedometer clock everything will work for others till u change both. so goodluck!

I paid for it too but never bothered to go there since I already have certificate of road worthiness issued. They will not disturb u if they see both, I guess they are more interested in the revenue. But on some days when they want to teach u a lesson for been rude they cud specifically ask for the clearance from the computerised inspection but Dats very rare.
As for the services in the computerised testing center speaking from a friend's experience it is quite thorough. they will use equipment to check every section of the car and give u a note containing deficiencies noticed and u are told to go and put them in order and return for a final test and certification. There is also the Nigeria factor there if u don't want to come back again!

I personally think if she sells this car and add the 400k she will even get a higher model with a much better factory fitted interior and exterior . That is if the engine and other are in top shape.

hello Oga guzz? I was recently told by my friend who just got out of a gear problem that it is recommended to change your gear oil regularly else your gear box can get damaged. is this tru? and how often should the oil be changed? it's a toyota Camry 1999 (pencil light). tnx

Hello gurus in the house, I have issue with my Camry 1999 speedometer, it goes on and off. It happens especially when the engine/car is hot or even sometimes in cool evenings so I cannot really tell it's relationship with temperature. It stops and can start anytime even when in motion. I also notice that when it is off the car runs extra smooth than it even was when it was on. What cud be the problem!

Well I bought the car recently Nigeria used, just noticed it 3days after buying it. It's a toyota Camry 1999 model pencil light. Spoke to an auto electrician he said it wud be difficult to diagnose since it does not happen all the time.

Hi, I have an issue with my speedometer, It does not work sometimes, I notice it happens more when the car is parked for long under the heat of the sun. sometimes it works for days without any issues, on some days it does not work at all but start working unexpectedly anytime.
