Nothing else really matters,those second-handlooking,cheap airports are really piissing me off.

Nigeria has not even got one good road(which is a fact).We need to develop our country fast,China has the biggest infrastructure budget and investment in the world because they know there money and time is running out.

And when I say invest in our infrastructure I mean developing world class roads,hospitals,government buildings,housing development and most importantly fully facilitated school environments from primary to university.

We have the money but our unfortunate lack of morality leader GEJ is looking to rule for another four years and its only you guys who can make sure he does not win the next elections.

yes indeed , infrastucture is what naija need right now to attrack investors , airport , seaport , road & good connectivity is part of the effort to attrack investor , i wonder how much it cost to remodelled the airport

No. What is lacking is YOUR BRAIN. Indonesia has an income per capita of $11,000 while Nigeria's is about 3 or 4 thousand USD. It makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE to expect Nigeria to spend billions of dollars on an airport when more important needs have to be met. It would amount to brainless ostentation and prestige projects over basic facilities and infrastructure. If you want to see where the govt is spending those billions, it is in areas like agriculture, roads, rail and power. And rightly so.

As rightly predicted! Have you been to South Africa? Do you by imagination think South Africa's budget yearly is 10x that of Nigeria? Nigeria have a HUGE pension fund laying idle in various banks in Nigeria and the government really do not know what to do with these funds! Imagine if the government seriously set up a group to invest these funds in three of the other international airport except for Lagos and Abuja, with a time scale of 15years to recoup the cost.

You really think 2050 is far away? For real it is not Bro. The reality is countries around Nigeria are waking up and upgrading their infrastructure, establishing themselves as preferred destination. Today, South Africa can boast of being able to host the world with Airport facilities that can compare with any you get in the Western world both in size and services. Do you expect that by 2020, Nigeria will begin to build these airport afresh having spent this much remodeling them? Wouldn't that amount to waste of tax payers money?

Exports increased 13 percent to 1.86 million metric tons from 1.64 million tons in September, the Indonesian Palm Oil Association, said in an e-mailed statement today. That’s the highest since 1.92 million tons shipped in February and compared with 1.42 million tons in October 2012, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Shipments beat the median estimate of 1.7 million tons in a Bloomberg survey published Nov. 12.

Increased demand for palm oil, used in everything from candy to cosmetics, amid a drop in output due to heavy rains, may help extend a rally in prices. Futures in Kuala Lumpur entered a bull market this month and are heading for their first annual gain in three years on concern that production in Indonesia and Malaysia, the top growers, may trail estimates.
