So this is the plan to use the corrupt judiciary that now serve Buharis interest to unseat Ortom ..that will never be plowed to happen
can't you see that Ortom's lawyers are a bunch of confused lawyers? They of all people were supposed to know that the appeal court cannot deliver judgment on a case the tribunal is yet to deliver final judgement on.

Politics / JIME VS. ORTOM Governorship Petition Tribunal: Jime Wins At Appeal Court. by Arnold777(m): 7:28pm On Jul 26, 2019
Appeal Court sitting in Makurdi today (26/07/2019) has ruled in favour of H.E. Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Jime, the APC Governorship Candidate in the 2019 Governorship Election in the state, and has ordered PDP & Mr. Samuel Ortom to pay the sum of N200,000 each to Rt. Hon. Jime and APC for wasting their time.

Recalled that PDP (2nd Respondent) and Samuel Ortom (3rd Respondent) in the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal case filed by Rt. Hon. Jime (Petitioner), challenging the declaration of Mr. Samuel Ortom as the winner of the 2019 Governorship Election in the State, had filed an appeal on the ground that the honorable Tribunal has no jurisdiction to differ rulings on all applications/motions brought before it by the respondents (INEC, PDP and Ortm) respectively, till the day of final judgement.

The Chief Judge, J. H. Sankey described Ortom's appeal as lacking in merit, adding that his Counsels (Ortom and PDP Lawyers) should educate him (Ortom) on the need to wait till judgement is delivered at the lower court before approaching the appeal court.

They said we have no case, they haven't seen nothing yet.

Travel / Benue Tanker Fire Incident: by Arnold777(m): 10:33am On Jul 09, 2019
>>>Governor Ortom's indifference to safety of firemen, responsible for death of two firemen.

First of all, I sincerely condole with the families of those who lost their lives in the fuel tanker fire incident in Ahumbe village, Gwer East LGA of Benue State on 1st June, 2019.

I salute gallant firemen/women across Benue State who put their lives on the line, working under the most harsh of conditions to discharge their duties. The undue hazards these men/women subject themselves to whenever there is a fire incident in the state is occasioned by the state government's indifference to their safety, especially those who lost their lives (Kambu Terwase and one other who died in the hospital on Sunday, 7th, July ,2019. ) in the line of duty, trying extinguish the Ahumbe tanker fire/save others people's lives.

Though the deaths of these selfless men could have been prevented only if the state Govwrnor, Samuel Ortom had granted the request of the Benue State Fire Service (BSFS) and provided safety equipments which they had requested for a long time ago!

The Benue State Fire Service had requested for fire fighter's kit which included safety boots, fire resistant outer suits, inner linings, inner and outer gloves, socks, boots, helmets, breathing apparatus, communications system, et al, from the state government several years ago but their request fell on deaf ears, forcing them to go about their fire fighting duties without these necessary fire safety equipments.

The two firemen who died in Ahumbe village were killed by the same fire they were trying to extinguish simply because they had no fire fight's kits on to protect them from the same fire they were putting out!

May the souls of everyone who lost their lives in that ugly incident rest in peace, and I wish I wish all the victim receiving medical treatments in various hospitals across Benue a speedy recovery. Amen.

Any governor who can not pay salaries should be sent packing regardless of party affiliation. Go and do your findings, you'll see that no governor in this country is owing himself salaries and allowances. Infact they all receive their security votes as at when due till date.
My brother, Governor Ortom of Benue State rigged his way back to office. His re-election is not a true reflection of how Benue voted. The APC Governorship Candidate, Barr. Emmanuel Jime shall reclaim his mandate back from the Benue State Elections Tribunal.

Politics / Traffic Lights Wahala In Benue: by Arnold777(m): 11:23am On May 26, 2019
>>>Ortom orders removal of traffic lights to ease traffic flow [na wa cheesy]

And just so you know, in Benue State today, the state Governor has directed the immediate removal of traffic lights installed at WURUKUM RAND ABOUT and other designated junctions in the state capital, Makurdi, to ease traffic flow, following series of social media outcries, criticism and mockery of the state government by residents, since the installation of the so called traffic lights [ordinary traffic lights, this Ortom cannot even install better ones].

The mockery was borne out of the fact that traffic offences abruptly increased traffic congestion at junctions became more frustrating after the installation of traffic lights between from 17th May, 2019, which Benue citizens now referr to as"disco lights", due to their malfunctioning/substandard nature [imagine after installing the lights, traffic flow come dey slower than ever before grin].

The lights which Ortom wanted to propagate as his second biggest achievement after the Opening Grazing Prohibition And Ranching Establishment Law otherwise knownas "Anti Open Grazing Law" in Benue, confuse everybody, traffic keep jamming up causing motorists, motorcyclist and even pedestrians to commit traffic offences incessantly. This developement that has "opened office" for the police in the state as they now "have enough customers" to arrest day and night.

Well, God has finally heard the cries of Benue people, Ortom's "disco light" would be removed as soon as possible and we pray he (Ortom) keeps his promise by reinstalling better/standard traffic lights this time around [if you ask me, I go day make KANSHIO jejely leave our Food Basket Of The Nation and other junctions as dem dey before until Jime Take over because, i know say the new lights go still cause confusion].

Senator Ben Murray BRUCE twitted this and a reply by a twitter user will SHOCK you.

RWANDA is far ahead of NIGERIA in renewable energy. They are a small giant of Africa. If we don’t take steps to cover lost grounds by passing laws and implementing policies to encourage electric cars and vehicles, Rwanda may go from being a small giant to becoming the main giant.

Senator Ben Murray BRUCE

Twitter User response to the above

Why do you like to compare Rwanda with Nigeria? It's obvious you don't know the enormity of our requirements as a Nation. Rwanda's total installed power capacity is barely 220MW. Kanji dam alone is 760MW of renewable energy. Rwanda has 50,000 cars, Nigeria has over 11m cars.

Kanji dam with 760MW hydro will supply thrice what Rwanda requires. We require 25000MW, how easy is it for us to get this via renewable energy? SA, USA, India, China, Australia are heavily reliant on coal as their source of energy. They fire coal heavily to generate power.

Despite the abundant coal Nigeria has, Nigeria doesn't fire coal rather we rely on hydro and thermal.

Do we have the resources to embark on your wild goose renewable energy project when you and your colleagues gulp billions of our scarce resources annually?

Why can't you compare how much you take home annually with what the average Rwandan legislator earn? The Rwandan senate president earns 16m RWF annually, $18000. Your monthly salary is twice his annual wage.

Paul Kagame earns $85,000 annually. With your N13m monthly allowance, you earn 5 times what he earns annually doing nothing. Can you compare yourself to Kagame? Can you justify your callous wage?

Politics / Re: Benue South Apc's Stakeholders Pass Vote Of Confidence On Akume, Ogbe, Jime by Arnold777(m): 2:17pm On May 25, 2019
JusticeSeeker:
Buhari denied you guys from wrestling power from that inept fellow, Ortom. Buhari refused to deploy federal might in your support and at the same time never cared to check the fraudulent activities of INEC and other local mights whom Ortom used.
I couldn't agree with you more. The President did not interfere, which is his style.Though the APC expected him to put some security measures in place to avert Ortom's evil plans in the general elections. All the Benue APC needed to oust Governor Ortom was security, but unfortunately, Ortom used all the security operatives deployed to Benue against the APC in the elections.
