At10tion: Never. She is appealing to a part of the electorate that will use and dump her as soon as a "white" knight appears. She is disliked within her own party and she can't go to Reform, which better suits her right wing politics, because thst Party already has a lunatic like Nigel Farage that rules the roost. Kudos to her for surviving these last elections sha, her disgrace is only being delayed if she doesn't repent from her "I am an immigrant but" style of politics. |

Realtruth2023: I think it is best directed at Obidients plus I am not a ronú anything, never mind bigot. |

franchasofficia: They are migrating to a place where their ancestral language is spoken, what is wrong in that? They certainly can lay more claim to the place the've migrated to than those whose ancestral language is different from where they have migrated to. 1 Like |

Stone03: You are wrong, Reno has made it his mission to challenge Obidients (via Peter Obi) because Obidients foolishly and pathetically threatened his young daughter. He can't be that poor if he is offering to put certain monies in a neutral account, I believe 25 million naira, if Obidients can bring proof of things Peter Obi has done that they foolishly claimed. By the way till today Obidients are yet to prove him wrong to claim said monies. Obidients are not the bomb, they are the sh1ts as Reno has proved by continuously fact checking them and him receiving insults and abuses rather than being counter fact checked. 2 Likes |

scholes23: No reasonable person ever says they don't want someone from a particular tribe to rule, they might not want candidates of bullying and abusive supporters to rule which us different. By the way, in that same UK, a fair few people still have the mindset that they don't want people with foreign ancestry to rule, they don't just say it out for people to hear. Rishi Sunak for example was initially blocked by rank and file Tories from assuming the Party's leadership and it was given to a rank incompetent and very inferior Liz Truss who proceeded in less tham a month to destroy the economy. First time Sunak goes to the country for election, the party's majority MP's was blitzed with lots of Tories voting Reform or other candidates. So don't hold UK up to anybody as an example of decency or perfection as regards the disregarding of ancestry of candidates. |

Mbanda: Who said Anioma and Ikwerre are not Ndigbo? They themselves can determine what they are, whatever other people call them is not their problem. |

RodgersAkpafu: Well said, the current "solution" is clearly not working. Israelis don't know when the next attack is coming from, ordinary Palestines can't do anything about The zionist attacking them in revenge instead of doing their due diligence to focus on. Hamas or Hezbollah. Same as with apartheid, unnatural situations must and will eventually be evened out. The sooner the better. |

Promise47: You don't have to sir, Nairaland has been relatively quiet of late, Labour Party wins in UK and suddenly threads are flying left, right and centre. There are no children here, well there are those with a childish mindset called Obidients, we know what this is all about. |

Amah70: Other countries survive without crude oyel. If Ndi Niger delta want to align with Biafra and give them access to their crude oyel, that is OK as well. Tell your senators to move the motion and I guarantee you, if my sitting senator is amongst those that votes against it, they are being recalled in less than 6 months with me spearheading the agitation. |

Neckpresser101: I wonder why any Ndi Yoruba will want to contest in ala igbo when Betty and Bianca were not allowed to. In Betty's case, in her own area. 1 Like |

Meti99: Regardless, they will always have Yoruba ancestry so your point is mute. We are proud of all of them all, Ndi Yoruba, Ndi "Bendel" and Ndigbo MP's have had to work twice as hard to get where they are. Especially those not in safe London constituencies that have lots of black people. I congratulate them all and pray the Lord blesseds their works and makes us Nigerians proud. |

Amah70: You can thank Owelle for blocking the secession clause that Awo and Ahmadu Bello proposed. By the way, I have no problems with whoever wants to break away (particularly now that Peter Obi post an election) doing so, I was just calling you out on using UK as an example of harmony. If you want to breakaway, Nairaland is not where to complain if you haven't spoken to your Senators about them at least proposing a bill. Finally, maybe Kanu shouldn't be urging people of other tribes to be killed and locations in ala Yoruba to be destroyed etc in his quest for secession, that's on him though. |

Amah70: You are quite wrong, why do you think there were problems in Northern Ireland not too long ago that it took the Americans and the good Friday agreement to help resolve? Why are the Scottish National Party (until these last elections) and Plaid Cymru gaining ground. Exactly because England (ergo Westminster) are not listening to the regions. For a recent example, Scotland's "share" of the Brexit referendum suggested they wanted to stay in Europe and they are still angry till today that they haved to follow England/Westminster who opted to leave. Find a better example for your agitation, the UK isn't a good one. |

2elliot: There was an "Ndigbo people in Yorubaland party", they just called in Labour party to hide face..... ... bikonu nwanne I jus dey play o, una well done. On a serious note, I haven't met anyone especially Ndi Yoruba that thought the Yoruba party was a good idea. The man probably wants to start his political career and is using this poor idea as a means. 2 Likes |

iwaeda: Obidients were angry that INEC declared the results at 3am as soon as they manually collated it all. Now you are here hailing the UK electoral commission for doing the exact same thing. Who do una dis? |
![]() |
Gbogbowa: You are so powerful to vote Sunak out but powerless to vote Peter Obi in àbi? If they removed all Obidients in UK's votes from Labour, Labour will still win by the handsome margin they did. Obidient votes in the UK elections were inconsequential, bikonu rest. |

ALTERNATEID: Kẹmi will never be Tory leader, she and Suella foolishly twerking for the hard core right wingers in the party, most of whom voted Reform anyway, will soon be pushed to the fringes of their party. The Tories have learnt their lessons from this elections and are now in a furious race to head to right of centre seeing as Labour pushed them away from there, not a hope in hell they will allow divisive figures like the two I mentioned to drag them further to the right. I am also not going to congratulate Kẹmi who is a liar (ok all politicians are) and a blatant opportunist that has no problem besmirching Nigeria to further get career. Also, when you are derided so much by your opponents that they discuss stepping down for each other to kick you out, you must be an slowpoke which she is. Kẹmi will end up on the back benches sooner rather than later and might at some point cross over to Reform with like minded imbeciles. Cooning will never benefit anyone. 1 Like |

Promise47: Foreigners are not allowed to vote in British elections, only His Majesty's subjects, of which exists people of different races, are allowed to vote. This term of foreigners in this instance excludes Commonwealth and Irish citizens for historical reasons. If Ndigbo's hadn't been allowed to vote in Lagos, which we all know is where you are going with this, pray tell how did Peter Obi win Lagos state in the Presidential elections? |

WINON1: Per the bolded, I am genuinely interested to know how the government have used huge amounts to do that, are you able to expantiate please? What did the government do and how much money have they spent so far? 1 Like |

immortalcrown: Your posts contains some incredibly powerful words and thoughts that we all should reflect on here on Nairaland, thank you so much. Sadly, the only thing Obidients will take out if it is the part I have quoted and they will consequently abuse and insult you over it Self introspection after reading your post would have benefited Obidients, alas such a simple thing doesn't exist in their mindset. A real shame. |

AlaafinOfOyo: You might be shocked then when you hear the language spoken in his palace. Let's just say if Yoruba is spoken in the palace, it must be Yorubaland. Lagos state house of Assembly conducts sessions in Yoruba on Thursdays, the might also give you a clue as to whether or not Lagos is Yorubaland. |

Ola9ja23: I don't know if you wrote this to pepper Obidients on Nairaland but please note that you are wrong. Ndigbo are valued in Nigeria and are not hated by other Nigerians. You are probably right if you meant Obidients. Please let's not assume Nairaland Obidients speak for or portray the typical Ndigbo. If the truth be known, Ndigbo in real life are ashamed by the pathetic and senseless behavior of Obidients on social media over an election loss over a year ago. 2 Likes |

Tochj: Eze Ndigbo of Ajao estate, currently in prison somewhere for being an absolute idiot with a big mouth, says hello. Per the post topic, lots of Ndigbo have contested and won seats for Lagos state House of Assembly, Ndi Yoruba in their constituencies don't complain. Feel free to go and verify. I myself fully agree with the divisive naming of the Yoruba party in the UK but the UK electoral commission wouldnt let you register any political party over there if they are not happy with the name. Most likely the guy is catching cruise but he is being silly in the process. 3 Likes |

MixMyMedicine: If they are, they certainly didn't show any bigotry with that particular post as it contained Ndi Nigerians from all tribes. Why was the thread created if not to celebrate people of Nigerian ancestry in UK politics? At least I can see Chucks Umunna, who I remember the first time he was elected, being mentioned. Did the op miss out any Ndigbo in their lists? |
