Doesn't it bother you that in the bible light is created before the stars and the sun ? Doesn't it bother you that in the bible the plants are created before the sun ? Where did the light come from ?

What does the absence of the sun on the first day of creation have to do with each day being 24 hours long? The sun didn't make the day. God did. The sun as an created entity itself was given to help us measure the day, among its varied purposes.

This is bound to happen when you use the bible as a science textbook. I can't even argue against this kind of stupidity.

Dubious miracles. If this Jesus character has the power to heal aids then why doesn't he just heal everyone with aids in the world ? These testimonies can be fabricated. All this is make believe !

• They want the miracle of reincarnation
• They want a miraculous cure for the sick.
• They want world peace through divine intervention
• They want divine intervention in the economy.
• It might be to praise God but only because he or she is believed to be capable of one or more of the above.

Prayer is about seeking a result. Even if people pray for “God’s will to be done” it is because they expect a beneficial result. That result is always in some way miraculous.

I would rather believe in the holy bible rather than a science book for the simple fact that the bible makes more sense.
Try reading it from Genesis and you might actually notice that it's inspired by the Holy spirit, Oh I'm sorry do you know what that is?  Lips sealed

The reason you haven't seen any people being formed from dust is because after Adam, Eve was created from Adam's rib and those two started having kids as it still continues to happen today. Oh buy the way that is also written in the book of Genesis the kids were named Kain and Abel  Kiss

Genesis clearly says a day consisted of a evening and morning. Don't try to be a spin doctor. BTW why would God communicate to us in language which is that vague ?

This is the question which led me to atheism. Because if the bible is wrong about where we are coming from why should l trust it about where we are going ?

Without the sun how long was the first day or creation ? How did  this god character  distinguish between evening and morning without the sun ?
