Travel / Re: Shocking Article About Dubai by ATlien: 12:58am On Aug 10, 2010 |
Thanks for posting this. We need more enlightening articles like this here. This author has taken the time to write a very balanced article shining light on the exploited underclass society in Dubai. To those that say this is just a white man hating on Dubai. Remember that without the white Americans with a conscience there would not have been a movement to eradicate slavery. The civil rights movement would have gotten nowhere but for these so called "liberal whites". I have heard this about Dubai for a while , but seeing it being this well articulated for the very first time. I for one have never been to Dubai, but see no reason to go to such an artificial place. Inhumanity to any human is inhumanity to all, today it is the bangladeshi tomorrow it could be the Nigerian. |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Much Does Procter And Gamble Pay Msc Holders by ATlien: 3:45pm On May 18, 2010 |
My people sha !. The guy asked a specific question and all of a sudden he is being offered all sorts of advice and counteradvice, everything but an answer to his question. Bro, I do not know how much P&G pays MSc grads currently specifically, but I am pretty sure it is competive in the Nigerian climate, the question is whether or not that is enough for you. I know for a fact that a couple of years back they were paying between 4 to 6 million naira per annum for recruits from the US. 1 Like |

NYSC / Re: Serving Your Fathers Land Or What?nysc by ATlien: 3:34pm On Oct 11, 2006 |
It really has outlived its purpose. I would not mind relocating to Nigeria to put my skills to work, but I just cannot understand why I would have to show the NYSC cert, when I did not even study in Nigeria. I beleive it should be a voluntary, not mandatory. I really do not see how it serves the purpose of national development anymore. The government should be encouraging Nigerians abroad to come home rather than making things complicated |
