Politics / Re: I Have No Apology For Victims Of 419 - Senate President (david Mark) by Atoms70: 1:43pm On Mar 26, 2009 |
Our senate president is right this time around. 419 from China, Japan, S. Africa, Ghana, Caribean, Russia, USA and other countries are all labelled with Nigerian blood. But the record shows that 419 did not start in Nigeria or with Nigerians. The history of 419 is much older than Nigeria, this is why most victims are foreigners. Bernard Madoff’s world wide investment fraud is still the biggest 419, but America will not accept it to be true. |
Politics / I Have No Apology For Victims Of 419 - Senate President (david Mark) by Atoms70: 1:29pm On Mar 26, 2009 |
http://ngex.com/news/public/newsinfo.php?nid=7952 I have no apology for victims of 419 - Senate President Senator David Mark, the Senate President while receiving an economic delegation from Ireland was quoted as saying “I have no apology for victims of 419. “If somebody ask you to bring, say $200, 000 in order to get $20m in return without investing anything concrete or rendering valuable services and you go ahead to do so, if you are ripped off in the process, you should blame yourself and not the system.” He also insisted that Nigeria should not be used as a scapegoat for the fraudulent practices of others as well. |
Politics / Prediction Of The Next President Of Nigeria by Atoms70: 1:59pm On Mar 25, 2009 |
Make your pick and list why. Makesure that making your pick is not based on whether you like or dislike the candidate. This is not a wish list, but a prediction list based on reality. My pick is Yaradua. If this man is healthy enough I think there is nothing stopping him from contesting for the second term. If he does contest, I think victory is guarantee. This is not because I agree or disagree with his policies, this is just reality of things. Power is bigger than anything. |
