In as much as this sounds good , it sounds like a failure from the start .
Firstly , Nigerian men in politics are full of pride and ego , they will hardly allow a female who picked up a free form challenge them at the polls, except she is their sacred cow ( puppet ) . What are the eligibility requirements to pick up APC nomination form as a female ? Can any female just walk in and grab a form ? This move is somewhat flawed . Watch out guys APC will not have a lot of women in elected positions , but rather they’ll be given appointments.
Secondly, this is a discriminatory move , they should’ve maybe slashed the price in half for women , instead of free . Some APC men will protest this for sure .

It is good to have more women participate in politics , but it’s usually women with high net worth and very high network that gets elected ( Very Few ) More women needs to participate in the polity at the state and federal level .

Agreed , we don’t need more universities. What we need are micro/macro industries , mechanized farms ,, ICT hubs , etc . But lack of steady POWER is the main reason Nigerians shy away from establishing industries .
