A BRIEF INTERVIEW WITH COMRADE IBRAHIM SALISU BATURE, THE CHAIRMAN KWANKWASIYA MOVEMENT, LOKOJA LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAPTER.
CR: May we know you sir,
BATURE: my name is Comrade Ibrahim Salisu Bature
CR: May I know your designation in this movement sir.
BATURE: I am the Chairman Kwankwasiya movement, Lokoja local
government chapter.
CR: What is the aim of this movement sir?
BATURE: The Kwankwasiya movement is a non-political, non-governmental organization aimed at promoting togetherness among Nigerians, it is movement open to all irrespective of tribe and religion, we have members from all across Nigeria, and this movement is a forum for all.
CR: There are assertions that your boss (Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso) is not a friend of the government of the day, What is your say on that?
BATURE: What ever is between my boss and the government is political and has nothing to do with the movement.
CR: What life touching event have this movement done to the benefit of the masses?
BATURE: Numerous projects across Nigeria, physical structures like classroom blocks, health care centres and so on were few among projects carried out by this movement, empowering the youths and women in particular across the country, fertilizer and farm equipment to the farmers and so on.
CR: What is your say on the postponed election?
BATURE: ALLAH (SWT) knows the best
CR: What advice do you have for the public on the up-coming general election?
BATURE: Kwankwasiya movement is a movement of peace, it preaches peace and tolerance, so I am urging all to go out in numbers to exercise their franchise, shun all forms of violence and most importantly desist from hate speech.

REVIVAL OF THE KWANKWASIYA MOVEMENT IN KOGI STATE.
The Kwankwasiya Movement, Nigeria is a non-political, non-governmental organization aimed at promoting live of an average Nigerian. It is a voluntary organization which has seat of offices across the country (Nigeria). Among its cited offices area is Kogi state which has 21 local government areas each of which the kwankwasiya flag is flying.
The movement witnessed cracked leadership thereby leading subjecting it to an unforeseen shutdown for some period of time. The shutdown led to fleeing of some of the members.
The chairman kwankwasiya movement of kogi state Muhammed Audu on Wednesday 20th February, 2019 calls for a reunion of the members, the chairman in his words pledge for revival of the movement in the state, he further added that members be loyal and dedicated to the kwankwasiya movement, he also encourage all members to abide by the codes of operation of the movement; in a related development, the chairman bring to the fore of the members present that a new kwankwasiya office will be cited in Lokoja local government area since the previous office was occupied by miscreants.
Lastly in his words, he task all members to serve as agent of dissemination of information among other members who were not present. Responding among the members present Muhammad Ghali thank the state chairman for the giant stride and step taken to revive the Kwankwasiya movement in the state, he also advice members present to serve as stakeholders and mouth-piece of the movement.
