As an agent it has always been my job to tell my clients to be patient and relax, but when it came to my turn, it was hard for me to follow my own advice Knowing how unpredictable the Canadian process works.

So I put all my trust in God because nobody can guarantee Canada study permit except God! I drew strength from Psalm 33, each time I get worried I will pray and reassure myself of God’s promises to me with that particular bible verse.

Along the line, I discovered this thread on nairaland and started coming here to draw strength from people’s PPR testimonies. I am happy to share my testimony today. Lol I was at the Gym when the email came people were looking at me crazy I ran home immediately to share the news with my family.

I know how you feel reading this right now, you will pray a silent prayer and then go and check your portal. Don’t worry God will come through for yo, with God you can never lose

With God you can never lose! when God shows up He shows off. My God never fails, Odogwu!!

I did mine at qlife with my son. His was tagged "worker" too and was told that's appropriate [1quote author=MediaLady post=113138068]

I did Upfront Medicals with my son yesterday at IOM and "worker" was also listed on his medical sheet. The lady that attended to me became rude as I was worried that the tag was wrong, because my son will be on Visit Visa.

Her male colleague assured me that the "worker" tag on the sheet was the right thing...and that the only tag for anyone accompanying someone on a Student visa was the "Worker tag." I said even for a 5 year old? He said yes. Since, it's their job, I just have to believe them.

Hoping for the best![/quote]

It can be either, I used black and white yesterday and I saw people with coloured.
I think it's ones choice.
amila20042001:
Must it be coloured copy of the intl passport or black and white photocopy can serve?

I think pictures from when you wear young, with your family and maybe social media posts would help. You can also add messages between both of you.

Hello,
To answer your questions:
1. You need to properly explain the lump sum in your SOP and possibly explain it in a separate letter of explanation. Also you have to extensively give reasons why your sister who is considered a third party sponsor wants to sponsor you in your SOP.

2. Yes I suggest you mention your husband in your SOP. He can serve as one of your home ties.

3. Yes. A gift deed of the money your husband sent will go a long way in strengthening your application. You can get a gift deed drafted by a lawyer and notarized.

Hello people, hope we all had a good day.

My sister is my sponsor (With sufficient balance). I also want to present my account statement but there's a lump sum
(×2 0f amount that normally enter the account) that just came in today from my husband to support me.

1. Do I need to mention anything about my husband in SOP?
2. Do I need gift deed from my husband

HOW DO I GO ABOUT THIS PLEASE.

URGENT PLSS!!
Thank youuuu

Thanks for your response. Maybe my eyes were seeing double ni o. I thought I saw 100CAD FOR THE CHILD somewhere. Thanks again.
CharitoJames:

I paid same earlier this month but i paid 385 not 335. It was 182,875.

Visa application is 150CAD each so 300 for you 2.
Then Biometrics is 85CAD so 385. How come yours is 335?

This is to say thank you to all the people that answered my previous question.

Please a quick one, HAS ANYONE DONE UPFRONT MEDICAL WITHOUT INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT BEFORE? What's the implication?

I have only the photocopy with me in Lagos

Thanks so much for this contribution. God bless you.
JustMellow:

Hello Ayatunde,

You can consider these points:

• An infant child that needs the cradle of the mother;

• Attached mother-child bond;

• The difficulty experienced during the pregnancy period, labour, birth (if it was high risk, state it), etc.;

• Being with your infant child will help your focus on your studies;

• The care of the infant child under the watch of others can't be the same as yours—the mother;

• The father is inexperienced and you can't leave the child behind for your mother or spouse's as you wish to breastfeed (your child for a long while) due to professional recommendation;

n.b. Don't mention your spouse is very busy if there is no nanny or parents' around to watch over your other children left behind, and;

• The child is attached to your presence.

P.S. Know that you have to demonstrate sufficient funds and the provisions to be made in Canada to secure a daycare or nanny to care for the child while you study to avoid distractions. If possible, ensure you explain your reasons for traveling with your child in 2 – 3 sentences to avoid providing unnecessary information.

Best of Luck

Hellos,
If she really didn't need to give the Visa Officer any explanation why she is going with her toddler child and not the family, a one liner would have sufficed and you wouldn't have needed to give that logical and well thought out explanation you just opined her.

Please madam, take a cue from this submission and write a proper letter of explanation else the VO can reason that the plan is for you to file for family reunion and you all wouldn't return at the end of your studies.

Statistics supports the above position quite a lot so do make a reasonable argument for your case.

VOs aren't naturally looking for reason to give you Visa. In fact it's quite the opposite they're more or less checking of why you shouldn't, hence the need to give them all required info to allay any doubts and provide clarity.

Best of luck.

I am applying for a family of six, and asides from PoF, I'm not leaving any stone unturned.
Ciao

The reason is obvious, your toddler is a toddler who needs mother's care.

Your husband will be busy with work and other kids and you'll not want to overburden him with care of a toddler who still nurses at night.

CharitoJames:

Do you need to explain to anyone why you are taking your own child who is a toddler along with you? It’s Nigerians that complicated things for themselves.. when they keep adding and doing what they weren’t asked to do... All this IRCC issues can’t be heard in other countries. Please Ma, your child is yours so it’s not their business as to why you are taking him or her.... file for the child in question, have enough money to show for the both of you and consent letter from hubby. No one would ask you why you had to take your child.

What explanation can I give for taking my 20months old toddler with me on a study permit while writing my SOP?

NOTE- I'm leaving my husband and two older children back home.

Hello everyone. I salute all the experts in the house.

Please help me ooooo. I am about to apply for my study permit and will need some clarifications. While filling the form on the IRCC new portal, I got to the page asking for my work/other activity for the past 10 years.

I finished my bachelor's degree in June 2012
Started MBA in October 2012 - October 2013 (the date on my certificate is February 2014)
NYSC : March 2014 to February 2015
Had a baby in May 2015 so, no work till around September when I joined a small company just for experience purpose sake. Child bearing and rearing continued and have not had a notable job although, I'm still with the said company as administrative assistant (no salary per say, just compensation)

Please people, how do I go about filling this bit? THERE MUST BE NO GAP AS STATED THERE
What documents will I need to back this claim up? I wasn't given any employment letter then, although ready to give me a reference letter

Thank you all for your time
