Dear Nairalanders, Please beware of messages to your phone from fraudsters. I just received this sms message from 08110388446 today, 6th February 2018: "ALERT - DEAR CUSTOMERS, YOUR ATM CARD/ACCT.... HAS BEEN BLOCKED DUE TO BVN SYSTEM UPGRADE, KINDLY CALL OUR HELPLINE ON 09062336189 TO OPEN IT UNDER 24 HOURS" The idea is for you to call the number and you will be lured to reveal your account details so that they can swindle you. For me, I am well informed on such tactics and I call the purported Helpline to warn that such messages should never be sent to my phone again. The guy that picked the phone quickly dropped after I passed my message and I called him again to re-emphasize this. Screenshot is shown below:

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." (Psalms 14:1). Please, leave them with the supposed madness. God who knows they are mad for Him will always fight their battles for them. When your own battle comes, let the demons join you to face it. FrenchWay: 4 Likes |

Please, someone should ask Mr. President if there was electricity time-out when he visited Cote d'Voire and Jordan. If no, then it is a BIG ISSUE to determine his 2019 aspirations. |

Until Nigerians screamed! Even the screaming has dragged for months. Everything drags and drags. Surely, 2019 will not drag to roll in by God's Grace and we shall all be alive. 2 Likes |

May God bless the person that push this to social media. We need more things like this to make our leaders sit up! 4 Likes |

This is becoming a regular occurrence. If our Health Authorities and also National Orientation Agency are up to their responsibilities, there should be a serious campaign on radio and television around this. If this happens in another country now, our political leaders will be quick to sympathize with them and proffer solutions, rather than raising the level of awareness to the roof!! In any way, I think Minister of Power also has a blame for this because if we have steady power, why will Nigerians ignorantly be keeping generators where the smokes will be inhaled around them. I am sure Oga Fashola now sees that "the six months" he used to abuse previous government is kicking the organs in his mind hard now! |

spartan117: You may be making sense quite alright, but if no one stops on the street to force a a madman to the psychiatrist for medical attention, the madman will die with his madness rather than being helped out of the madness. |

iMUMUweh: You mean you don't have sympathy for this family that the breadwinner died fighting for the peace of others? Apparently, you are sick upstairs and you need a well experienced Psychiatrist to open up your skull and remove the blood that rushed into your brain! 5 Likes |

Al-Mustapha is a dedicated and loyal staff. Even in the death of his boss, one can still feel the passion within him. I am sure he is ready to die again and again for him. Should such a person be rendered useless by the authority after so much has been invested on him by the country? I think he can still positively contribute his quota to the development of this country. My belief oo. 1 Like |

Does Efe has any living counsellor, mentor or role model at all? If he does, then those people are not alive to their responsibilities. It is their fault that they are not guiding him well. Yes, Efe might be zealous or hungry to say he wants to do music, their duty is to let him know that he will fit better into something like "Talk Show", M/C, D.J, or even acting movies. If he continues like this, his popularity will soon wean away and he will lose the hot patronage cheaply. Time is of essence a beg. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

The problem with us in this country is that our Law Enforcement Agencies will always react after an evil act has been committed. Just watch how they will be serious on this matter for now. Thereafter, they will return to their shells until another terrible thing happens. It is well with Nigeria! 9 Likes |

God has remembered the woman for good. "He who laughs last, laughs best". Her laughter now is the best from her mockers. However, heaven is the focus. She should not allow the pleasures coming with these gifts to distract her from making heaven. May God also bless that Pastor who has shown love to the congregant. 8 Likes |

No matter how indecent a guy is, you can never see him exposing his private part shamelessly. Why are we seeing this thing in our modern day babes? Is this what fashion all about now?? Lord Have Mercy! |

This is awesome! Finally, we can now have smooth ride on Lekki-Epe Expressway. However, we will plead that the bad spots on Ajah to Adoh Road should be permanently fixed. At the few bad spots on the road (Ajah-Adoh), one can spend over one hour for a journey which should be less than 5 minutes. It will be sad for this road to be jeopardizing the goodies to be derived from the new Ajah Flyover Bridge. Also, all the trucks carrying dredged sand on Ajah-Adoh Road should be cautioned and closely monitored as they are really destroying the road. The heaps of sand which they have used to damage the road are already extending to the foot of the new Ajah Flyover Bridge. If care is not taken, these trucks will soon destroy the good works of our excellent Governor. |

God bless Omorodion Osahon for being proud to showcase his mother. Some guys will rather be ashamed to publicly identify with parents like this in public. I think it will not be wrong to call such people "unworthy children" who can even sell their parents to BELONG! 3 Likes |

Job 42:12 "So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning" - To those passing through one phase of pain or the other, please don't give up 'cos God will always show up for you and you will have sweet testimonies thereafter" . Weeping may endure for a night, joy cometh in the morning. Keep fighting the fight. Winners don't quit and you are not destined to be a Loser!! 1 Like |

nickxtra: Social medial journalism is not about broadcasting fake news and making inciting statements. Professionalism should be the key factor. After all, Linda Ikeji is also a Social Media Journalist but you can hardly find her in such a mess like this. KOO journalism is more of talking before reasoning. This should be a great lessons to others in such category. 10 Likes |
