Hello everyone , I will like to ask if i can reapply immeditely after visa application cancellation. I was about to pay for my TLS appointment fee before noticing I inputed the wrong intended arrival and departure date on my UK visa form, and I read on the uk site that the only way to correct a mistake is to cancel my application and reapply. My Question is, Will I be able to reapply immediately or do I need to wait for another a while before commencing a new application, also is it possible to write a letter stating my mistake and submit my application like that? |

Hello, please what email did you send the message to and what was the subject of your mail. quote author=abusmanlouis post=78881545]This is the message I got from CIC mail today, You can learn from it the process our application go through before final decision. Good Day, Thank you for your email. Kindly note that this application is still under active review by our office. At the moment, we are not in a position to give a clear indication of when we anticipate finalizing this application. However, we wish to inform you that our office is doing the necessary to ensure that this application is processed and finalised within the shortest timeframe possible. Please note that the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act requires that each person applying for a visa to Canada be screened in many different ways, including health, security and criminality. Often, delays in the processing of an application are out of our control as some processing steps require coordination with external authorities. Therefore some applications due to the complexity of their nature may take a bit longer to finalise than others Our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed and application finalized, or as soon as more information or documents are required. We realize that the situation is unfortunate and regret that our response could not be more favorable at the moment. Thanks alot. I will check the schools out and apply if they have my course. Thanks quote author=Naijaforeigner post=78798745]Freeworld321 I sight you boss. Xtianengr you can get admission from Nigeria or in Canada. Once you have your visa, even if a program says closed on any of the websites, call the college and tell them you have your visa. Most programs that indicate closed, they factor in time to process visa for international students. So even if a school tells you admission is closed, call and let them know you have your visa but only thinking of changing school. I know colleges admit people even when admission says closed provided they still have seats on that program. Colleges do this a lot but not sure about Universities. However, I strongly recommend you are in Canada before you notify CIC because at the POE, if you show them a new LOA, they may ask why you changed school most especially if it is cheaper than the initial school for which you were given your visa. They will drill you You can get admission for another school from Nigeria, get into Canada before notifying your former school and CIC you want to change school. Ayomiposi2020 Kcosam and Xtianengr I think Newfoundland university collects 2k per semester (6K in a year). It also depends if they have your program. Please find out if the school/college you has flexible payment plans. This will help. Newbrunswick community college is another cheap school - I think it is less than 6k CAD for some programs, please find out. Brandon University is another cheap school. I know Sleekysoft attend Newfoundland university.

Nkquote author=Philomathhh post=78782974]Hello guys, Is it normal to get a mail from cic prompting you to check your portal for a new message, and only for you to login to realize that there's no message in there? How long does it usually take to be called for medical examination? Lastly, does anyone tracking ID indicate "No result found"?

Dear Nairalander, I will like your advise on my application, here is my profile: Early last year I gained admission into cenetennial college, program: Food science technology Fast-Track (It is a 2year program) In May 2018, I applied for student visa and I was denied June 4th 2018. Reason for denial; Purpose of Visit, Current employment status and Personal assets and financial Status. As at then I was a corper and therefore was serving as a teacher in a government school. I showed evidence that I was serving so I guess it was a red flag cos getting the visa meant I will ignore my Nysc and travel. Anyways I decided to complete my NySC before applying. So in November I completed my Nysc, I traveled to London, returned in November, traveled to France in January, returned in Feburary. However after my service, I decided to work in my Dad's company as a project manager since I couldnt seem to secure a job as a food technologist in Nigeria, whilst working with him, i realised I actually liked working as a project manager and I will like to be certified in Management and I can even take over from him when he retires. And so I wrote to the school and Change my program from Food science to Global business management(Please bear in mind that My BSC is in Genetics and Biotech which is related to food science but not related to Global business management). Now I want to reapply for the visa, do you me changing my course will negatively affect the outcome?, also I have heard that the embassy dose not regard admission from colleges how true is this? Because my course is a PostGraduate Certificate program. ALso in reapplying , what do I say in response to the VO's conclusion? do I reply the denial letter and also submit a statment of purpose letter? or are they one and the same? Thanks awaiting your response |
