Thank you sir

chidi4eze:
it's 1.5 * the course credit Unit
For instance if the course is 3 credit Unit in Nigeria; the calculation would be 1.5*3=4.5 ECTS
Yes, a semester in Nigeria is approximately 30 ECTS because it is assumed we do between 6 and 7 courses of 3 credit Unit each every semester..So it will be 6 or 7 * 3 * 1.5

Hello friends, please what is the German ECTS equivalent of a Nigerian credit unit. The school (TUHH) requires that I complete a table specifying how many ECTS completed in subjects such as linear algebra, statics, differential equation etc. I understand that a semester in Nigeria is equivalent to 30 ECTS. Please how do I go about it? Your helping response is needed.

Wow!!
Pending the outcome of the file, I will advice you to get documents of your personal asset if any. So far it's for yourr family & for your sponsor. The source of income of your sponsor. If he owns the company (provide the COI), if not then his pay slip.(which must be a very strong income). If not then your family personal asset is ok. Be it land or buildings or investments.

I have since a case where the applicant didn't provide SOA but had enough personal asset and the sponsor isn't her dad but provided his COI of the company. There was no red flag.

All I said above isn't the answer to your delay, but they are things you should get ready pending the report on your file.

I believe the VO wants to see what you have even if your sponsor fails at anytime moreover he his a third party to you. Nevertheless, wait for the outcome of your file.

Your case isn't difficult like the conventional 'purpose of visit' but all the same all cases can always be resolved.

Thank you sir..

Sir,like when I spoke to one of our gurus yesterday that said his gcmsnote came out for long and it was just a little mistake he didn't tackle....although I think he said all the three insufficient funds was ticked. .....

And when he order for his gcmsnote wat cic wrote was..that there was lump sum of money deposited in to the account that was the only thing written in d gcmsnote.......

So to me I think may be your too was like that.......I know is your first time of applying u just need to cool down since you have order for your note wait till it comes out then you come here and tell the honourable house what was written in your note....
But dis cic get as he be oooooo....God pass them......

Mine was only one insufficient funds was ticked I didn't add land document nor sponsor pay slips......

Hmm, I appreciate you ma.

Haba!! Sorry sir.
I believe some monikers that were delayed would have preferred this case of yours to any other ones given to them because your type of delay is somehow easy to tackle than the rest.

What am I saying?

Firstly order for your gcms file to know the decision of the VO. But let me ask you some questions.

1. How many years have you been working?

2. Did you submit your SOA?

3. Even if your sponsor promise heaven and earth for you, did you show any proof that you can stand alone to an extent even if your sponsor disappoints you? I mean personal asset.

4. Since its not compulsory to make payments before application, did your sponsor transfer any money to you even after the initial school deposit?

5. After the said amount your sponsor presented in his/her SOA, did he/she provide any personal asset?

Ponder on my questions but it's not compulsory to answer them and in the interim, order for your file.

Your case is different and very easy to tackle.

It is well.

I have ordered for it sir. But I was thinking l could re-apply base on informations given to me by you and other friends on this forum.

1. Am presently observing the NYSC program

2. No, I didn't submit my SOA because I have a very low income.

3. No, I didn't show anything pertaining to  personal asset as l was thinking if l asked my dad to  will some house and land properties, it will raise a red flag since am not working yet and still observing the NYSC program.

4. No, he didn't

5. No he didn't provide any. Should he (my uncle)?

Please sir, what are the steps or guidelines you would suggest l follow.

Thanks.

Good afternoon family.  I got delayed yesterday on the ground of insufficient fund . l applied on August 26. The 3 boxes pertaining to finance was ticked. My uncle is my sponsor and he has paid the required deposit fee of 4000 CAD , my tution is 25500.The total balance in his account was 12 million as the inflow and out flow was good. Please how can tackle this reason of denial on time as I was admitted for winter 2018.

Sincerely of a truth.. I am not cool with using just parents as home tie.

Though some app were approved with just parents as home tie. Alot where refused as well.

At best do all you can to have not just parents as hom tie.. Home tie and Finance are two most important aspects in my own opinion.

Thanks @ MrMarc, I would work on what you have said.

Ok. No implication if you prove it is from your sponsor(s). You best option is for him to transfer the remaining amount to you. If you think VO will notice his balance is too low after that, they will notice that without it too. Perhaps you should use 2 related sponsors. One for tuition and the other for living expenses.

Am grateful, God bless you.

Osemigho:

My opinion.

School fees paid from your uncle's account right? if yes, Can he support your application further by transferring the balance of your tuition and upkeep into your bank account? If yes, let him do a bank-to-bank transfer of the funds into your account. He should then state in his letter of financial support that he made the school fee deposit and living expenses balance transfer as evidence of his commitment and willingness to do more if neccessary.

For family tie, let any of your parents, who is related to your uncle, write a letter of support for you which will state that your uncle is your sponsor, their relationship, and evidence of their relationship as among documents you will submit.

For your info and for best result, you may have to draft the necessary letters yourself and get them to read and sign it. You can add their contact details into the letter for verification. Good luck

Thanks @Osemigho, The school deposit fee was paid from his account. I think if he transfers the balance of my tuition and upkeep into my bank account he will only have few million felt. My school fee is about 6 million not considering the living expenses. My uncle has already stated in his letter of sponsorship that he had made the required deposit on my behalf. Also, he has also stated the relationship between him and my mum with a proof, he also stated that I would be coming back to the country to work for him. Moreover, I have never receive such a huge amount in my account, will this not implicate me? Please enlighten me the more. Thanks

My opinion though, I think he should just pay your tuition fees. Thats where his commitment will reflect. I'm not sure CIC cares about who applied for visa for you or not. The koko is your financial potentials for your study. Visa application is just the 1% stage of the whole affair.
Gurus in the house pls help. I'm learning too.

@ OmalichaUC , thanks for the reply. what l meant is that; he has paid part of the school fee which is the required deposit l was asked to pay.

He will not just initiate the funds transfer, but you will also have to show proof of relationship and some convincing reasons why he wants to sponsor you.

I would attach a copy of my mum's National Id card showing her maiden name before marriage. In his letter of sponsorship, he stated that I would be coming back to work for his company. Thanks

Pls if l may ask, is it compulsory that my uncle who is my sponsor pay some amount of money in my account before l applied for the student visa to show his commitment?. He has already paid the deposit fee required by the school on my behalf? Thanks

Yes your uncle cab act as your co-sponsor but he will need to show commitment by paying the funds he intend to support you with into your bank account

please if one's uncle has paid the required deposit fee on behalf of his nephew. Does he still have to deposit some amount of money into his nephew account, to show his commitment? Thanks
