Read my post. I've given a good clue as to who I am? Lie or talk down to someone. Eh? When we all know that the Ikwerre can never be a domestic to anyone! Maybe our pride is misplaced but nevertheless it is what it is.

Aribisala, is that really you? How now?

What does it matter who I am? What I want you to accept is that I'm proud somebody of Ikwerre

My husband is proudly Ikwerre and just for the the record he, his father, his mother, his sisters and brothers are the hardest working people I know. Laziness is not a part of their vocabulary. I am also fed up of always, but always having to explain to especially the igbo, that the ikwerre is not an igbo. He has his own distinct culture. Surely they have a right to say who they are and who they are not. I agree with some of the other posters, does it really matter if the ikwerre wants to be part and parcel of another ethnic group? I would have thought that a giant such as the igbo wouldn't give a damn! Why make it a preoccupation?
